Only tenant in building to be denied a parking space upon move in. Office staff kept the space reserved for my unit for their own use instead. Failure to ever respond to any emails sent to the only address that they provide over the course of my tenancy. Phone calls either go to an office line that either goes unanswered or receives a rude and dismissive response from staff followed up by no action taken. Maintinence requests go unanswered for years at a time. I lived without a working bathroom sink for over a year due to their refusal to repair it. Broken microwave as well still has never been replaced. Neighboring units are engaged in drug use, prostitution, frequent disturbances such as the blasting of loud music into the late hours of the night and smoking cigarettes and other substances in the hallway. I have been a victim of harassment by a neighboring tenant for over a year that resulted in threats made against myself and my significant other, violent assault, trespassing, and a burglary in the unit after this tenant climbed out of her window and broke into mine. Vandalized the unit and stole my birth certificate, social security card, and bank account information in addition to property in differing amounts of value. SoLa Rentals again and again refused to address any reports of the harassment before the crimes were committed, and after filing a report with the sheriffs department they have still not repaired the window or removed the criminal tenant. The unit is currently uninhabitable and unsafe for me to return to, and they are actively pursuing an eviction against me in retaliation. I am currently rendered homeless and sleeping in my car as a result.
