I filled out an application on feb 9th 2023 at this office, paid $573 for expidited services to receive my passport needed to travel for work. The company promised it would arrive before 2/24/23. I was called back to the office to redo the passport photos initially taken by ***** because they were not the standard of the **** of state. I was assured by ****** that the process would still be done in time and delivered before Feb 24th. It is March 6, 2023 and I just got off the phone with ****(the boss) who told me he had more important things to deal with when I mentioned I should get a refund due to the expidited service not being provided. I was told that all Im thinking about is money money money. I was given the **** of state number and told to call myself because they (at the office)cant get any answers as to why my passport had not come in. Prior to today(last week Friday ) I was told that 39 other passports had also not come in and I needed to be patient with them. I have expressed patience as weeks have gone by and I still have no passport in hand. My job(money) is contingent on me having it to travel. I have spent money that I could have held on to and dealt with this process differently if I knew that there could be some delay of this degree. There was never any waiver or description of possible delays and now I may not have a job.
