    Im at the end of my payment with kia finance and now they are trying to get more money. By saying I have late charges but they draft my payment out of my account .I paid my last payment last month and I'm still having to pay another payment and more by their calculations I have my contract and all of my bank statements. I call but they give me the run around and the girl on the other end told me she didn't even no how much my whole payment was now calculating 75 months plus 3 extra gives u this payment and they want more then what my contact is asking

    Before I decided to use Kia Finance I was told by the company I could make extra payments and apply the extra payments 100% to the principal loan balance. I currently have about 14 extra payments from May 2022 to current and I have called Kia Finance about 25 times to date. In about 5 occurrences my calls go to escalations with the promise to apply my extra payments to the principal. I have been calling since May 2022.

    They say it will take 3-7 business days each call and the extra payments will be applied. Five months later has not been done and now they are telling me they can only go back three months and they are very sorry about the extra payments in May, June and July as there is nothing they can do anymore. Kia Finance tells you want you want to hear and they don't back up their words and commitments. My emails go unanswered. I am told the same thing every time I call. I'm given a fax number to contact escalations and complaints. I do, but they don't seem to have record of it. They say their hands are tied and all they can do it tell me it will be fixed, and it has not been fixed to date. They will not provide me with documentation of the calls or reference numbers. They say it is not their policy to do so. Each time I call and talk to get the extra payments applied, they tell me it has been complete, problem is closed, and the challenge is resolved. I tell them from the reports I'm getting and statements it has not been done and is not reflecting in their system that is visible to me. They then confirm that they see the same thing and it will once again be resolved.

    I'm concerned about getting my title when I pay the full loan next week (2 years early) as I'm done doing business with them.

    Last ticket number with Kia:
    The don't use the term ticket/reference. I'm not sure what this number is actually called. 1-***********.
    I didn't get a ticket number from today's call but spoke to ****************. They said their calls are recorded.

    On 7/15/22 I initiated a payment to Kia Finance via my online bill pay service ****************. My payment for my lease is 429.86 a month. When I made the payment I accidentally paid $4329.86 instead of my monthly payment of $429.86 overpaying $3900. I called my bank ******** and they opened a dispute claim. They contacted Kia Finance and were not able to rectify because Kia would not speak to them without my permission. My Bank suggested I contact them directly, I did that on 7/29/2022 and was told they would put in the request to have $3900 sent back to me. I advised them that I had other payments and asked if they would expedite the request and they agreed. I was told that I would have my check in 10 business days. On 8/15/2022 I still had not received anything so I contacted Kia Finance and they advised that the request was still pending. I asked if they could escalate the request and they agreed. On 8/17/2022 I called for a status and I was told that noting was escalated on 8/15 and the request can take up to 45 days to be approved. This is the first I was told this, I asked to speak to a supervisor and was hung up on 2x. I finally spoke to a supervisor who told me there was nothing she could do except email the payment department I asked for her name and her supervisor and she hung up on me. What kind of customer service is this? I have never dealt with such a pathetic company and a company that has no problem with keeping an overpayment from a customer, absolutely outrageous. I need help escalating my request and obtaining my overpayment of $3900

    My husband and son leased a car from KIA 4 years ago. We bought out the lease. KIA said they sent the Title to PNC. PNC never got it. THAT WAS A YEAR AGO! We have been trying to get KIA to send a lean release for a YEAR so we can get a copy of the title. FOR A YEAR! The registration is now dead and has been dead for 4 months, because my son moved and needs to register the car in a new state and he can't without a copy of the title! THEY ARE THE MOST UNPROFESSSIONAL BUSINESS EVER!
