1 starI am writing to formally lodge a serious complaint regarding mishandling info with Foremost homeowners insurance. Despite my efforts to provide clear evidence and communicate the urgency of the matter, the conduct and lack of resolution from your representativesDaniel ****** (Field Property Claims Supervisor, along with **** ******, **** *******, and ******* ******** have left me deeply dissatisfied and increasingly concerned. Following multiple severe storms that occurred between June and July 2024, and again recently in July 2025 my property sustained substantial damage due to high winds, heavy rain, and hail. I immediately documented the damage and reached out to your claims team.the conditions I observed and reported: Multiple missing and lifted shingles.Cracked shingles signs of hail impact. Interior leaks, water damage on several ceilings. the damage is widespread and continues to compromise the structural integrity and weatherproofing of my home. Despite this, first claim was denied without a satisfactory explanation. I followed up promptly with a second claim, and once again, your company has failed to respond properly with the urgency and professionalism this situation demands. I have also written emails outlining all the damages and included photos, yet your team has failed to properly acknowledge or act upon this critical information. The lack of responsiveness and action has caused undue hardship, and the ongoing delay leaves my home vulnerable to further damage. We are asking Immediate approval of my claim. Please consider this letter a formal complaint, and be advised that if no prompt and meaningful action is taken, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter to: The Arizona Department of Insurance. I urge you to treat this matter with the seriousness it warrants. Homeowners depend on insurers like Foremost and Farmers to stand by their policies and respond fairly and efficiently in times of need.Review fromDianne H

1 starI recently changed from Farmers to Progressive thus lowering my payments by $300 for the year. It took four attempts to get Farmers to say they had dropped my coverage and to say they had mailed me a refund. They ignored two letters signed by me saying to cancel. They said a check would be mailed, it was not. They said I would receive notice of the cancellation, I did not. Last call they said the policy was finally cancelled and the check was in the mail. We'll see. No check yet. The worst communication I've ever had with a company. Total incompetence.Review fromRyan B

1 starI cancelled my car/ renters insurance that I had with them over two months ago. They have continued to take money out and bill me stating I owe almost $1000 for cancelling my policy. Ive had to call 5 separate times to clarify that I cancelled my policies and that they need to stop taking money from me. Each person I spoke too says it is taken care of and that I dont owe money and that they are actually going to issue a refund for what they took from me. The latest **** I received says they are sending me to collections if I dont pay the money within 5 days. I just spoke to another person today and they said to ignore it because theyve had systems issues and thats why I continue to receive bills from them. I would recommend this company to absolutely nobodyReview fromWilliam H

1 starFarmers rejected my claim, then would not call or speak with me about why they did that. Then when I got a contractor to help me, Farmers would not speak with them either. Farmers then closed the claim after 6 months because 'the damage happened a year before". ******** agents never once called me to tell me that was happening or what we could do about it. I had to end up calling my ******** agent who had to give me the phone numbers for my claims adjuster **** (who has still never called me or talked to me one time even through all this) and his boss ***** (who is the only person who seems like they were at least half doing their job through this process). They never reopened the claim on the website, though once I finally got through to speak with ***** (still have never spoken to ****), he told me it was reopened. Once they finally sent some one out to my house to match my siding, which took 11 months from the initial filing of the claim, (11 MONTHS to even send someone out to look at the siding) Farmers told me there was a match, didn't tell me what the match was, again never once spoke to me about a thing, at all, and sent me $2000 check to reside my house. That's more than just frustrating, it's crooked and I will never, ever use ******** again.Farmers Insurance

1 starMisleading practices. They quote you discounts youre not even aware of. I had to provide proof of continuous insurance coverage for the past 6 months. I recently switched from Direct Auto to Bristol, but the representative over the phone never told me that even a one-day gap would disqualify me from the *********** policy with Direct Auto ended on 7/2/2025, and I started with Bristol on 7/3/2025. Because of that one-day discrepancy, I no longer qualify for the 6-month continuous coverage discount. The agent should have clearly advised me to start the new policy on the 2nd to avoid ********, for a single day, theyre hitting me with a much higher price. Totally unfair and dishonest way of doing business.Farmers Insurance

1 starFirst thing's first: if I press English, please do not put ***** bin Laden's niece on the phone.2.) I expect truth and transparency when speaking to a customer service representative on the phone. It really irritates a person when they try to justify robbing as "part of the policy."3.) This is the first time I've ever heard of a scam artist being able to penalize you for having insufficient funds in your bank account. If said ********************** responds to this, please understand, that whatever their response is, is a lie.Farmers Insurance

1 starWe inherited a home from a deceased relative and paid the $1553 premium to insure the home until it sold as the premium was due Shortly after the home sold we called the agent to cancel the policy and were told we would be receiving a refund. To. date we have received 4 different checks all made out to our deceased relative who obviously cannot sign the check. Farmers refuses to put our name on the check as it is their policy to make it out to the policy holder. The agent that we worked with should have changed the policy into our name knowing what Farmers policy on refunds is. They have told us theres nothing they can do, that this is their policy and so they are keeping our money, which they tell us is over $1600. What else can we do?Farmers Insurance

Is your business going to make this right? We would like to think you are people of integrity as you have our $1600 which we expect to be returned. Hopefully you realize you need to have a policy which deals with this sort of situation.Review fromSharon J

1 starI recently called Farmers Insurance to cancel my auto insurance. I notified them in April that I was canceling in May because I was going with a different company at a much cheaper rate. They tried to charge me for several days of insurance after I had canceled. I finally was able to get it straightened out after Calling several times and sending them a copy of my new insurance. Then we canceled our home owners insurance with Farmers and told our agent to cancel it on July 1st since that was when our new coverage would go into effect. Then we received a letter that our home owners insurance was canceled on June 23rd. It was the weekend so we couldn't contact anybody. We were without homeowners insurance for a week. The Farmers agent was told several times to cancel it on July 1st. We had been long time customers of **********************. Never in the past have we ever had such poor customer service.
