Title: Nightmare Experience with *********: A Cautionary Tale My recent encounter with this company-*********, has been nothing short of a nightmare. Having purchased a home warranty coverage through American Home Shield (AHS), I expected a smooth process in resolving issues with my heating system.The ordeal began on 1/08/24 when my heating system stopped working. The initial technician diagnosed a faulty blower. A replacement was installed, plus additional $350 payment for "noncovered" charge for "cleaning the system", even though I had paid another vendor less than five months earlier for annual cleaning of the system; still we discovered that the system did not function. Subsequent visits were made by Climetech technicians, each time offering a different solution. They claimed to have fixed loose cables and even replaced the supposedly new blower. However, after five attempts, the heating system remained non-functional.Exasperated, I reached out to AHS, requesting a change in contractors. This process, however, proved to be an additional two weeks of haggling, as ********* submitted a report asserting no mechanical problems were found. AHS insisted on another $100 service call fee before considering an alternative contractor.Finally, a new technician, assigned by AHS, arrived today. Shockingly, it took him less than 30 minutes to identify the root cause of the issue: *********'s technicians had incorrectly installed the new blower, causing the heater to blow inward and trigger system overheating. This critical error, overlooked by *********'s two technicians over multiple visits, highlighted their lack of expertise.In conclusion, my experience with ********* has been an absolute disaster. Despite their claimed 15 years in the business, they demonstrated a severe lack of competence and professionalism. I strongly advise against wasting time and resources on this company, as they are evidently ill-equipped to handle even basic heating system repairs.
