On April 22, 2023 I made a purchase from M.J. Candle Co. through an app called Afterpay. Both items that I purchased were reflected on the company's website as being in stock. On the website, the company specifically states that they ship all orders via **** priority mail (1-3 days). The items that I purchased were supposed to be a gift for Mother's day which was May 14th, 2023. I did not receive my items until May 22nd, 2023 which is eight days later than when I needed them. This is because the company did not ship my items until May 17, 2023. Even under the most dire of circumstances, shipping a customer's merchandise 25 days after they purchased it is completely unreasonable. Because the company failed to deliver my items on time, I was forced to purchase another gift from somewhere else so that I would have a gift for Mother's day. Now, I am stuck with two items that I don't want or need because the company is ignoring my request provide me with a refund. I have tried reaching out to the company multiple times since April 22, 2023 and they do not answer their phone and their email address comes back as being an invalid email address when I try to email them. At this point I would like to return the merchandise I purchased so that I can get a refund.
