Spectrum Billing Services (SBS) operates a national pay-per-call telephone network offering incoming callers entertainment and information services. According to the terms of service on these pay-per-call transactions, the calling party is advised that if the charge incurred for a call transaction fails to settle on the credit card or debit card presented by the caller for payment, then the party will be billed directly for the service provided. The charge at issue involves one of the two (2) call transactions made to the pay-per-call services on May 17, 2024. These calls both originated from the telephone number (480) 25x-xx00. The caller on these transactions accessed the services by presenting for payment a **** credit card ending in four digits 1388 that was issued through *************** N.A. One of the two charges incurred by the caller settled on the **** credit card that was presented for payment. However the charge for the other transaction was declined by the same **** credit card presented for payment by this caller. The charge for this second call transaction to the services is presently outstanding. A billing for the outstanding charge was sent to *************************** based on information provided by a third party lookup service which identifies ******* as the subscriber of the telephone number that originated these May 17th transactions. SBS attempted to review this outstanding transaction with ****************; however he refused to discuss the outstanding charge and he disconnected the call abruptly. Thereafter, SBS received notice of his customer review to the ******************** in which **************** wholly misrepresents the parties brief communications. *************************** is requested to contact SBS via its toll-free number ************** in order to review the outstanding charge that failed to settle on the credit card that had been presented for payment on May 17, 2024. That charge is valid and owing.Review fromCameron K

1 starThe same woman answers the phone each time trying to collect a payment. She will threaten court action (it would cost the company more money to initiate court action). Also when you call the customer service line you can hear an adult model answer the phone then the voice fades away to the older woman trying to collect the payment. This place is a scam. Needs to be shut down. I dont have spectrum but was billed in the mail for phone services. This website is a scam, the call center is ridiculous. Id fight it and dispute it.Spectrum Billing Services

Spectrum Billing Services (SBS) operates a national pay-per-call telephone network offering incoming callers entertainment and information services. For clarification, SBS is not affiliated in any way with the media company that operates under the name Spectrum that offers internet, telephone and cable television services.
In ********************* Customer Review submitted as of August 19, 2024, it appears to read that he is having on-going communications with SBS.
According to SBSs records Mr. ****** last two transactions were calls made to the pay-per-call services on September 24, 2023. The caller accessed the services by presenting for payment a Mastercard debit card ending in four digits 7850 that was issued through *********** & Trust. Payment on these two charges was declined by the Mastercard debit card presented for payment. According to the terms of service on these pay-per-call transactions, the calling party is advised that if the charge incurred for a call transaction fails to settle on the credit card or debit card presented by the caller for payment, then the party will be billed directly for the service provided. Per terms of service, a billing for the outstanding charges was sent to ************** as the subscriber of the telephone that had originated the two transactions.************** paid in full the outstanding charges on February 29, 2024. There is no current unpaid balance owing by ************** at this time and there has been no further communications between SBS and ************** following receipt of his February 29th payment.
If ************** believes he is continuing to receive billings from SBS, he is requested to contact SBS via its toll-free number ************* as there does not appear to be any charges outstanding with him at this time.Review fromBen T

1 starReceived a "fake" looking invoice for a calling card call FROM a number I do not own to a number i have never dialed. Furthermore I have never used a calling card. This is a scam/fraud attempt to collect monies from unsuspected people. Beware and do your research. Formal Notice to Spectrum Billing Company: Remove me, my information, my address, and any of my associates from your fraudulent billing communications or further legal action will be pursued.Spectrum Billing Services

According to the terms of service, the calling party is advised that in the event the charges incurred for the call transaction fail to settle on the credit card or debit card presented by the caller for payment for the services, then the party will be billed directly by SBS. The charge directed to **************** was the result of a call made to the pay-per-call services on November 12, 2023. To access the service, the caller presented for payment an ****************** credit card ending in **** that was issued through Intesa Sanpaolo S.P.A. The call originated from the telephone number (346) 43x-xx46. The call charge incurred was declined by the **** payment card presented by the caller. An invoice for the unpaid charge was thereafter directed to **************** based on a third party lookup service which had identified him as the subscriber of the telephone number which originated the call to the pay-per-call services.Following receipt of this customer review, an investigation was completed that determined that the charge should not have been directed to ****************. **************** information was removed from the transaction and he will not be sent any further billings on the charge. There was no reporting of the transaction to any credit reporting agencies and SBS apologizes to **************** for the confusion.Review frommonica h

1 starIf I could give zero stars I would. In Nov. 2021 when I started service they refused to send out a technician to set up my equipment and check my connectivity. I spent a year paying full price for spotty and at sometimes unusable service. By October of 2022 I purchased my own router and the connection issues weren't fixed. In November of 2022 they finally sent a technician who assessed my house was improperly wired (I purchased the house in September of 2021). Up until May of 2023 Spectrum had a monopoly on service providers in my area. On May 25 2023 ****** Fiber got me set up and on the morning of May 27th, 2023 I called to cancel my Spectrum service. I don't find out about the shady business practice of charging for a full month of "subscription" service, despite not receiving any service from Spectrum, and therefore I'm paying Spectrum for a month of nothing. Cut to July 5, 2023 when I have a massive bill from Spectrum in my mailbox when returning from Europe. They did not cancel my service on May 27, 2023 despite having said that it was canceled. I happened to be in a Spectrum store on July 6, 2023 helping a friend return their Spectrum equipment. I ask the agent there to check on my account, stating if there is a balance I need to pay I would like to do it right then and there and check that the back date on my cancellation date to May 27, 2023 had in fact gone through. The agent confirmed the back dated cancelation and said to wait for the bill correction to be mailed to me. July 27th I receive a corrected bill of $79.31. However, on July 26th, the day before I even received the corrected bill in my mailbox (confirmed by my **** Informed Delivery notification), Spectrum had sent my remaining balance to their inhouse collections service "Charter Spectrum". At this point I have spent over 5 hours getting passed off to other departments, given incorrect and even incomplete call back numbers. Avoid Spectrum at ALL costs, or it will cost you $79.31 for no product.Review fromTONY B

1 starThey send equipment without any notice to customers for safe arrival and vulnerable to theft. Not to mention but the equipment sent was not what was requested or agreed to and found preopened baking like potatoes on the sidewalk. Called customer service and they said sorry about that and the rep found we were billed incorrectly. So he resent the correct equipment we agreed on and we asked for a Signature Upon Delivery and you guessed it, arrived baking on the sidewalk. Arriving home entering the driveway it again as before without the request and a three time ********* of ***** signature upon delivery. I guess you know tune by now. Gave up trying to be the good will of man type and finally told customer service to come and pickup their c*** we never agreed to or had any idea they had sent it out. So if they wanted it back they'll find it baking where we found it without us knowing about it. Now They want us to pay for services we still can't use due to no signals to our package deal combined like a bag of nuts we can't Crack. Canceled the order and waiting to get another sack of nuts,(besides me)unknown hidden charges and whatever they can stick me with! People beware! Read and heed the reviews and arm with knowledge before you decide to go with a nutty cable company that throw what they think you need and if you do confirm everything you ask for. I learned the hard way. But I still can't get a grip of paying for something that is not working or ever got to see or use at all! besides my mind. ie. TV! INTERNET! WIFI ! TWO PHONES!! Grrrrrrrr!!!!Review fromRaafat I

1 starSpectrum Cable habitually and chronically raises my rates even though they tell me I'm locked in for a year. Their excuse now is we don't offer locked rates and can give a $10 monthly discount but can still raise prices at a whim which offsets the discount! Their billing practices and promotions are pretty worthless if they keep raising prices.Spectrum Billing Services

The call originated from telephone number (XXX) XXx-xx01. The call charge was declined by the payment card presented and a direct billing of the charge was directed to Mr. Perez based on lookup service which identified him as the subscriber of the number which originated the call to the pay-per-call services.
