    Bought a car engine that turned out to be defective. Says they have a 30 day exchange policy if engine is defective. Had a certified mechanic contact business that the engine no good but yet still yet to receive exchange or refund. They claim I broke the engine but the engine has a compression problem which the engine would have to be opened up which it was never. business did not wanna do anything about it even though it had a 30 day exchange policy.

    On February 8th, 2024 I purchased a transmission for a 2002 ***** Accord however I was sold a transmission for a 2001 ***** Odyssey in which ended up not being compatible to my vehicle as the fly wheel did not coincide with the torque converter. I immediately contacted the owner *** in which sold the transmission to me and told me the solenoid needed to be changed, I informed him that it had been changed. *** then requested to speak to my mechanic and when my mechanic informed him that the transmission was not the right transmission and I was sold the wrong transmission he called my mechanic a B**** I immediately stopped the conversation and told him I will not tolerate that disrespect and that I would only like to get my vehicle to excellent working condition. *** then requested that I take it to diagnosed by his mechanic and for a second opinion. I then did so and his mechanic also stated that the transmission was bad. I immediately informed *** and he did not want to believe what his mechanic expert opinion was. He then told me he would only be refunding me 15% I told him I had a receipt in which is a legal binding contract in which states that I have a warranty for 30 days in which begins 10 days after the date of purchase. I informed him the transmission was bad 21 days after purchase and attempted to return the transmission on the 28th and they refused to accept and issue me a full refund. I then contacted the ******************* a unit was dispatched and before the unit arrived they closed the shop and left. The following day I received a call from *** in which he told me that in order to receive a refund I need to sign a document stating that I would not be pursuing him for additional damages and expenses due to him selling me the incorrect transmission. When I arrived to the shop his employees took possession of the transmission but refused to refund me the full refund when I did not agree to sign the contract for the additional expenses I incurred.
