    A company named Signpost got my business as a merchant services provider (CardConnect) and to help me get business reviews. I signed a contract with them. When I cancelled my contract at the end of the term with SIGNPOST, November 30, 2020 I cancelled via email. The person I contacted was **************. What I didn't realize is the CARDconnect aka CardPointe aka Clover continued to bill me even though I never used their merchant services product after November 1, 2020. The total that they billed me was 1,407.00. I have spent since August 3 2022 trying to ratify this situation and get this $1407.00 refunded. Signpost is not taking responsibility. Cardconnect refunded $238.94 in September and emailed me today after countless phone calls to get this rectified properly. They said they would not be refunding anything further. I would be happy for SiGNPOST and Cardconnect to split the difference each taking responsibility for their wrong-doing. To have these charges continue for two years without one transaction is criminal. The strangest thing was that the transaction seemed legit until they upped their fees into the $200 and $104.95 a month range from $44.95 the rest of the two years. I put a stop payment on my bank account which cost me $35.00 and was non-refundable. The total required to make me whole is $1,203.79. I made four phone calls to CARDCOnnEcT/ aka Cardpointe and one email. The email thread between Signpost Customer Service and myself included 38 emails. I tried to resolve. The transaction numbers are as follows: ****** $223.99 August 3, 2022 ****** $104.94 July 5, 2022 ****** $ 44.95 every month all the way back to November 2020 Had these been legitimate charges there would have been a phone number associated with each charge, which there was not. The only way I discovered who these fraudulent people were charging my account illegally for two years was to have my banker call Wells Fargo (they would not tell me who was charging my account).
