If and when I need to file a claim under this coverage, I will update this review to reflect my full experiencepositive or negative.)Best **************** Ive Had in Years Thank You, ****** I recently worked with ****** ***** at autopom! to get extended coverage for my Kia ******** and the experience was everything a customer hopes forprofessional, patient, and personal.****** took the time to break down different coverage tiers, explain how administrators work, and walk me through why certain components (like seals, gaskets, and electronics) matterespecially on a performance car. He didnt just answer my questionshe answered the ones I didnt even know to ask.I never felt rushed, pressured, or upsold. He built a policy that made sense for my car and my life, and even applied a military discount without me having to ask. The entire process felt thoughtful and fairlike someone was actually looking out for me, not just trying to make a sale.If youre a veteran, a performance car owner, or just someone who wants real peace of mind with your coverage, ask for ******.     My issue is that I was told by my AUTOPOM Protection Specialist (****** *.) that I could do my own oil changes, antifreeze flush, brake pads etc. under my 48-month Service Contract, all I needed to do was forward the receipts to HEADSTART, the people who cover the service contract. I did this during year #1 of my 4 year Contract and I was reimbursed. On year #2 they denied everything other than my (inspection sticker $25). I called Autopom and they sent me to take it up with Headstart, they said they only reimburse for service done at a certified repair shop. The service contract does specify that in the hand book. So now that it seems people don't use their last name but only an initial it's impossible to get that person who sold me on this, it was a direct lie, I wouldn't have signed up if he was straight about the service contract. I just made my last monthly payment, they get paid in full by the 2nd year, your covered for an additional 2 years, how convenient now they deny payment for maintenance items now that they have been paid in full! It's a shady deal, I shouldn't have to chase their chosen ************************ (*********). I thought I was on a recorded line on 3/9/2023 with ****** *. but nobody seems to know him?

    We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and were sorry to hear about your frustration regarding your maintenance ******** clarify, you purchased two coverage agreements: the service contract, which provides coverage in the event of a breakdown, and a separate maintenance agreement, which allows for reimbursement on select maintenance services. Although your service contract permits some documented self-maintenance (such as oil changes) to support future breakdown claims, the separate maintenance agreement does not. According to the maintenance agreement terms, all covered services must be completed by a licensed repair facility to qualify for reimbursement. We understand that your administrator, Headstart, previously approved a one-time self-maintenance claim for you as a courtesy; however, they have since clarified that they must adhere to the written terms moving forward.Regarding your Protection Specialist, ****** is a member of our team, not Headstart's, which is likely why they could not transfer you to him. If there was any misunderstanding during the initial conversation, we sincerely regret any confusion this may have caused. Our goal is always to provide clear and accurate information about coverage terms.We appreciate your business and would be happy to address any further concerns.     first of all, i don't have an Administrator, he (****** *.) is your employee, not mine. Why is ****** selling something he's not accountable for? If ********* had their Administrator involved at the time of purchase I would think that person would have explained the terms clearly and I wouldn't be complaining to the BBB. And now Autopom passes the buck to Headstart who plainly says read the contract. What a way to do business. Not satisfied with all the lip service, hope i don't ever need to make a claim, can only imagine all the reasons why they won't cover any issues

    The Autopom policy looked really good when I purchased it.. One thing that was not clear was labor costs and costs of parts are limited.. This is not transparent in the policy fine print... ****** X3 was at the dealership for an issue. I found out that maximum payout for Autopom was $160 an our for labor and $110 for the part.. The Dealerership wanted $265 an hour for the labor and $250 for the part... So $245 came out of my pocket to cover what the Autopom policy would pay for labor and parts.. Autopom uses a statistical average to use as a labor and parts price guide.. The Statisitcs and data come from an independent research company that they probably own or have some type of mutual relationship with.. ******** on average labor and parts costs is nowhere close to actual values as of September 2024.. As a result be prepared to pay out of pocket for part of labor costs and parts costs.. I'm lucky there was only an hour of labor on my car.. If there had been several hours and more parts involved I could have been out of Thousands of dollars.. Beware!! Don't get stuck like I did.. Once you are stuck at the dealership, you may be forced to pay a big diagnostic fee, even if you don't have the work done. I learned something the hard way, hope this info helps someone else

While some dealerships adhere to these national labor guides, others may not and could have policies requiring the exclusive use of parts they source. This can sometimes result in differences in repair cost *************** provide greater flexibility, your contract allows you to have repairs done at any ***-certified repair shop. However, for ease and alignment with the contract terms, we recommend considering shops within the ************* network. These partner shops honor the national labor guides and use quality parts while offering fair pricing, which we find helps eliminate many of the challenges customers sometimes experience.We understand you were unaware of this ************* option during your experience. To ensure fairness, autopom! issued a courtesy reimbursement of $245 to cover your out-of-pocket expense.     i have been with autopom for about two years now, and never made a claim'Three weeks ago i made a claim on my car i went through the process that was given to me by their claims department' the said that i need to take my car to a ASE certified shop and i would have to pay for them to put it on the machine/Diagnostic testings. I did everything they told me. i went to pick up my car and paid for the tests done and the shop said that they talked with Autopom and autopom said that they will contact me, autopom never contacted me i had to contact them and when i called them know one seems to know what i am talking about and then they said it , they were waiting on my payment to clear or something so i followed up and there was nothing wrong with my payment i was paid up, then they sent me to customer service and then customer service would transfer me to claims this went on for three week, i even called **************** whom is supposed to be my representative or liaison for autopom . i called him again him and autopom again on August 5/2024 i left a message and i could never get through to anyone, as long as i have been with them i have never had a problem with getting through to them until i made a claim with them and now i an getting the run around and no return calls or anything, i would not recommend these people to anyone. they do not live up to their word unless it's in their contract in getting your car serviced but they will make sure they send you out your payment statement. here it is August 6, 2024 and i have not yet heard anything from them. they neeed to be investigated. i do not want to deal with them anymore. i am sure some of these reviews they have something in common. i want back what i paid into this warranty i dont anything else to do with them
