Dear BBB,I'm hoping you might be to help me resolve my situation with Timeshare Freedom Group. Over four years ago, I paid $5900 for Timeshare Freedom Group's services. I am currently involved with a timeshare company in which I can no longer use their services due to my deteriorating health. I secured Timeshare Freedom Group's services to relieve me of this financial burden that I cannot afford or use. Initially, Timeshare Freedom Group promised me that they would get me out of my current timeshare within 12 months. In addition, they informed that if they didn't resolve my issue with two years that they would refund all my money as part of their two year guarantee. As mentioned above, it has now been over 4 years and I have received nothing more than a bunch of malarkey. I've tried mailing a certified letter to their address in ************ only to have it come back to me. Nobody answers their phone when I try to call them. I'm not even sure if they are still in business? I've also sent a certified letter to the ************ Firm which was managing their cases for them with no response. It is unfortunate that companies such as these even exist. You would think that there would be some type of regulatory board overseeing these types of shams. In November of 2020 we saw an add for Time Share Freedom Group on MSNBC. We then contacted them to help expedite us from our Time Share which they claimed they could do. We signed a contract and paid them $3000. We were guaranteed they could do this but were also told if within 2 years it was not completed our money would be refunded. When the process seemed to start happening they then asked for another $950 paid to A Family on Vacation as this is who they turned the work over to. I was in constant contact with this company until I called them in November to refund our money since we reached the 2 year period and nothing was done. When I called the numbers all were disconnected. This was a total scam and Im sure they have opened the same scam business now under another name. We thought this was a reputable company because it was advertised on MSNBC. The company also used the name of a famous atty in ** named ******** but steered ** away from using the part of the service that used him. I want a full refund of $3900.Initial Complaint

Starting 08-12-2020 I made payments to Timeshare Freedom Group (TFG) totaling $19,852 to cancel my timeshare with Wyndham timeshare. they said if it wasn't completed with 2 years i could get a full refund. I have written certified letters and emailed them with no response. I have called the number they were answering while I was making payment but now there no answer. I've called the law firm working with (TFG) sometimes they answer and say they will get back to me. They never call back. Is there any way to try and get my refund?Initial Complaint

I was contacted by Timeshare freedom group with regards to exiting my timeshare. It was stated that there was a money back guarantee after a 2 year period. After the two years had lapsed, I tried to reach out to request a refund. I have sent certified letters ,called and emailed however no one responded to any of my attempts to contact them. All numbers and email have been disconnected. I believe this to be an elaborate scheme because prior to the refund period there were correspondences regularly.Initial Complaint

We hired Timeshare Freedom Group to cancel our timeshare with Wyhmdan. On January 2021 we paid them a total of $6,100 to get this canceled and if they couldnt get it done we would be refunded. We also had a law firm working on this and they couldnt get anything resolved with this Timeshare Freedom Group. Their number is no longer in service. I sent them email and certified letter to see if we get any response. I just cant believe these people are taking all this money from people with no intention on helping them.Initial Complaint

I paid $1500 for a downpayment to ********************* with Timeshare Freedom Group with promises of a cancelled timeshare within ***** months. $200 was taken out of my bank account for 4 months and then nothing. I reached back out and was connected with *************************** with A Family on Vacation who acted as if she took my file over. She has ceased communicating with me for months now. On 02/26/2019 I PAID Timeshare Freedom Group (TFG) $3,695 to get my timeshare canceled. They said it would be done in 24 months or I would be refunded. On 05/26/2020 I was made to pay an additional $950 to TFG for resort processing fees. On 7/09/21 I was informed that it was completed and was told to wait on the timeshare to complete the deed transfer. I received an Invoice from my timeshare for annual maintenance fees and Taxes. I called and E-mailed TFG and have not been able to contact anyone. I then called my timeshare, and they said the transaction did not go through, so I am still responsible for the annual fees. I am not able to reach anyone from TFG and need resolution as far as completion of cancelation or a refund.Initial Complaint

On April 27, 2021 I entered into contract with Timeshare Freedom Group with the understanding that they were going to cancel my timeshare agreement with my timeshare company. They charged me a fee, which I paid in the amount of $3,132.00. They also stated that the process could take up to 18 months during which I never had any information communicated to me by them. I was once able to call a number, that I was constantly being hung up on after long wait times, and passed myself off as a new client when I eventually was able to reach a live person on the phone. Only after stating that I was a new client and wanted information did they pass my call on to the next representative and that was when I told them I was an existing client and that I've yet to receive any information from them. They assured me that they had "lawyers working on the case" and that someone would get back to me soon. I never heard from them again and there aren't any functioning methods of communication with anyone at this company.
