I am being charged over $700 in late fees for a couple bounced checks. I was told to send a forbearance to resolve the late fees and then I was told it was denied. I have spoken to multiple people about the issues and I receive a different answer each time. I am being charged fees that nobody understands what they are for. There is a separate fee reporting fee for $2.50 and now it has gone up to $22.50 and nobody there knows what this charge is for. I am being told multiple different things about my account, some people are saying I owe over $700 others are saying I owe $15. The financial aid advisor has no idea what they are doing with my account and said there are various mistakes in the charges. Nobody has resolved this issue and it has caused me mental stress and to be in debt over $30k. Nobody is attempting to resolve this issue and I have spoken to a supervisor before and nobody is on the same page as to what I am being charged for. I would like to have an investigation done as it seems that something is not adding up correctly. When I check my bank account there should have only been one bounced check, not four. I have attempted to resolve this issue for over a year and the late fees continue to accrue because they are not taking care of this. I have tried to resolve this but instead of correcting their mistakes they are adding more late fees each month.
