    In July 2021, BBB investigated the business practices of Seabreeze Vacations Rentals. This investigation was prompted by consumer complaints and reviews. The complaints and reviews alleged that advertised amenities are not available upon arrival and rental cleanliness is not as described or pictured. Additionally, consumers have indicated that their rentals may not be in suitable condition for their stay.

    On July 23, 2021, BBB reached out to Seabreeze Vacations Rentals via email to request the following information:

    - Please provide details and procedures regarding how rentals are cleaned and maintained. Please also detail what procedures the business follows should a rental's cleanliness be unsatisfactory or not as advertised. 
    - Please provide copies of all documentation in which consumers sign such as contracts.
    - Please detail what procedures the business takes to maintain properties should a consumer have an issue during their stay.
    - Please detail what actions the business takes when a rental does not include the advertised amenities.  

    As of August 2021, the business has not responded to BBB’s request.

    We booked a rental property with Vacasa DBA Vacasa ********** for a golf trip Aug ****, 2023. We paid $5,225.23 USD for the trip. The primary driver to book here was for the pool, and that it was large enough for our group.Upon arrival we saw that there is a sign out front saying the house we booked is being scheduled for demolition.We also immediately noticed that the pool was more green than blue (which it was in the photos). The pool was very dirty on the bottom, and my friend whom I booked the trip for did not feel comfortable swimming because of the water cleanliness (or lack thereof). There were horrible odors coming from the dishwasher in the kitchen. Upon examination the filter had not been cleaned in a long time, riddled with food from previous guests.The air conditioning filter has not been replaced in months. It was horribly dirty.In the bedroom we then saw candy wrappers, a former guest's eyeliner and a former guest's necklace on the carpet floor. This shows that someone did not clean property before our arrival. The towel rack was broken and when we went to get a towel after showering, the rack fell off the wall.There were holes on the walls where pictures used to hang in the master bedroom.We contacted Vacasa many times during our stay and they kept saying that they were forwarding our information to their "local team". There is no local team I'm afraid. No one came to clean the pool or the house and we were left with a very dirty, broken, house which severely ruined our trip.This company falsely represents their property listings, then does not support any of their customers.We seek a refund for the horrible experience.

    Made my booking through VBRO which I never received an email confirmation number. Then all the sudden, night before by booking was to I received an email from Vacasa with my confirmation number, reservation instructions, address, how to enter property, etc I arrived June 21, 2022 and from that moment on, Vacasa started to discriminating against me, a year has gone by and they haven't stopped, it is on-going, and continually getting worse. They never wanted me occupying in the fist place due to my background and later based on consumer credit report. Where one past landlord was so crazy, drunk, liked me and became obsessed about destroying me. Wrote a horrible review about me and this same patterns happens every time I try to find a place to live. Back in Oct. when they told me they canceled my reservation after I had already paid , they are terminating our business relationship with you and will no longer rent you properties.Day one they gave the wrong unit to me so wanted me out every month (guilt for others of their vacationer's plans, no dogs allowed, I had two ADA ******* animals, emailed me in Oct. that they were terminating our relationship and kicking me off the platform, I had signed leases and paid already, broke my toe on Labor Day and injured by back as the back stairs collapsed, hospital stay, bills, they never responded to me in the least bite, making me pay them now directly as i'm blocked from my account, allowed a downstairs tenant to threaten, post illegal eviction note signed as a vacasa agent, they said "its a little girl spat" and that I should move out if I'm scared, not her, asking me every month what my exist plan is, pressuring me and I know they will soon go to court to evict me. I have an ADA ********** and by law you cannot discriminate against those. It is also illegal..
