On Easter Sunday April 9, 2023, My husband and I were lured into the Aurarius Store in La Jolla , by a young woman selling Introstem eye products and facial peels, after much pushing and discussons, and offering many discounts, my husband brought the two items for $350. ***n she kept pushing me to see "Rose" who sells Aurarius, and does hard selling her products and facials, ***** minutes of talking and applying , different facial items , rose started her selling do things for my self etc, (I'm 74) she offered me many discounts , trying to sell me $4875 worth of products , which included "4" of her facials, after I declined, she said I could schedule a facial, so it was arranged for April 21, Oh by the way , you need to prepay, its $325, never mentioning if I canceled or changed my mind it was non-refundable, nor did I see any signage stating that fact. I called the store on April 13 , and requested to cancel and was informed, **** was not there and they did not give refunds, I requested a call from Rose *** next day I called Rose and was once again told they do not offer refunds, but she would ask the owner on Monday. I received a voice message on Monday, April 17, stating they would not refund me, but I could exchange for products and that the facial had no expiration date.This is not a products this is a prepaid facial, the policy on the bottom of my receipt which I had not looked at until I was refunded a refund, states no exchanges on products , nothing about prepaid services. I have tried to reach out to the owner, there is no phone number for the owner or customer service for this franchised store. I want a refund of $325 as this is not a product but a prepaid service that has not been preformed and may never be preformed as I am no longer in the area, and most likely will not be returning.
