Very bad company, using bait and switch techniques, and EXTREMELY high fees to remove your money. After building the *** to 40k, I wanted to transfer it. This is an extremely drawn out process, and they fight you every step of the way. This company is NOT RECOMMENDED. Do NOT give them a red cent, or you most likely will pay an extreme amount of fees to remove the money. Even having a good brokerage like ****** assist the transfer of my accounts, they still make it nearly impossible to remove your funds. if you have your funds transferred to a bank account, they charge you a transfer fee that will add up to several thousand dollars.They have extremely terrible customer service, good luck find a phone number - and they have zero supervisors to refer you too. After disconnecting, you will need to restart the entire process again and they have zero knowledge of the previous attempts. Not a good feeling when they are holding your entire retirement account.Review from Graham J

This company stole my information without my consent and sent me a debit card also sent random text to my phone saying my password was reset. I do not have any association or dealings with them. I don't live in **********. I don't have the app for them I did not tie my bank to any account with them none of it. This is all scamming at its finest. I contacted my local authorities and filed a police report, I also reported this info to the federal trade commission. This is horrifying that they would just allow this to happen. Remove my information from your system and no I will not verify anything other than full name and address. You people are thieves. CLOSE THIS ***********.Review from Fred K

This is the worst company. They will not let you close an account. They have literally been taking money from me against my wishes for months. **************** puts you in circles and then tells you we have escalated this to a supervisor call and you will get a call back from them within 24-48hrs. But guess what- you dont. And so the cycle begins again. This is the grossest mismanagement I have had to deal with in a while. I find it disturbing that they are dealing with peoples finances when they cannot do it properly. At this point, I am actively in the processes of filing complaint with every entity I can hoping it will resolve this ridiculous issue. Run.Dont deal with this company ever. The money saved doesnt even build compound interest so its a joke in comparison to what you could be doing with day, ROBINHOOD. Run from this scam as fast as you can.Review from Kevin F

They have been defrauding me for several years, charging me for a subscription service every month which I canceled and emptied many years ago. They didn't cancel my account and have been perfectly fine charging me $3/month to "manage" my account which has been at $0 for years.Review from Linda S

An unauthorized fraudulent authorized account was established in my managed investment account. Monthly withdrawals were made. Now dealing with the fraud department at my investment facility. This company is most certainly a scam and needs to be investigated, charged, and shutdown.Review from Jason L

As others have stated, Acorns has no fraud department and service reps don't appear to have any training on how to deal with fraud. Months after reporting an account as being fraudulently created, I was still receiving email from Acorns. When I contacted them again, I realized that they never closed the account! Not only is this unprofessional but it's extremely dangerous considering that these fake accounts were created for the purpose of identity theft.Review from Pedro T

Worst company:I had issues with the app and investing. I closed all accounts in July of 2022. For some odd reason, the app repeatedly charged me. Twelve months later I find the 1 charge. I contacted customer service and requested the company to stop charging my account. I asked to be transferred to a supervisor. I was told I have to wait 24 hours. I am advising everyone to stay away. The customer service **** can not do anything, stay away.....
