    I received a letter for a debt consolidation loan from a company called Liberty First Lending.I called the number listed on the solicitation and the phone was answered by a company called Credit Nine. I asked several different agents why theyre answering the phone as Credit Nine, requesting more information about Credit Nine and the first agent hung up on me, the second agent could not answer the question but continued to pressure me for personal information, and the third agent said, I dont know, Im just the guy that answered the phone. Im reluctant to give my personal information to companies I know nothing about, this complaint in referencing false advertisement; Im calling one company and Im getting another. Please help resolve these issues moving forward.

    Liberty First Lending provides personal loan services, personal loan brokerage services, and also generates lead traffic that it routes to trusted partners for the offering of partner services. Credit Nine is a partner with whom Liberty First Lending works and partnered with on your transaction. We are unsure why the agents you spoke with were unaware of this arrangement.

    There is an unauthorized credit inquiry on my credit report and i am requesting it to be removed.

    I have searched all our client records and we do not have any record of a consumer with your name, phone number or email address that we have spoken with or obtained a credit report for. In addition we do not have the ability to pull hard credit pulls, only soft credit pulls which do not show as an inquiry on your credit report. Our company is Liberty First Lending. Recently we have had several instances of consumers mistaking us for Liberty First Funding or another Liberty named company.

    I got a letter in the mail. Apply and suppose to get a phone call at 6:30 am. They text I. The morning that I have miss their phone call without any call. Follow by a call 2 hours later which I did miss but I called back to provide proper information for a personal loan. Took my information and said I will know my approval by 4 pm the same day. After 4 PM I got no call or text. I contacted them to follow up and the service agent said they cannot pull my file because they do not have permission to and to call back Monday . They text me Tuesday to follow up but I did not receive a call. I text back that I am still awaiting terms and rate . They response back with sorry for inconvenience they will update their contact information. I now am part of a potential identity theft victim .

    I got a letter in the mail to check rates on a personal loan and debt consolidation loans without impact to credit score from Liberty first lending. I went online and tried and it said I had to call them. I did not and was no longer interested. They started calling me constantly from all different phone numbers but all said liberty first. They called 11/14 at 12:51 pm 11/14 at 3:04 pm 11/14 at 9:39 pm 11/15 at 1:08 pm 11/15 at 4:18 pm 11/15 at 11:03 pm As far as I know there is a law stating you cannot call later than 8 or maybe 9 pm. This is absolutely obnoxious and I cannot find a good contact #.I want no contact from this company in any way.

    Thanks for contacting us through the BBB portal! As to your concern, we did not know you didn't want to be contacted concerning your loan application you completed on our website. Completeing the info our site is what intiaites us to call you and that is expalined on the site. You also could have called the the 800# on letter we sent you and we would have added you to the Do Not Call list. We have added you to our DNC list now.

    the whole point of this complaint against liberty first lending is the call activity after 8 pm, after 9 pm and after 11pm. It's harassment at that point and to my knowledge is not a legal business practice.

    Please know that we never contact our customers after 7PM thier local time. We have software in place that prevents us from calling late even if an appointement has been set There is another company with the name of Liberty First Funding, and we have been we have been mistaken as that company. I have personally spoken to a few consumers on this subject and after a little investigation we have relized that they were being called by Liberty First Funding, not our companny Liberty First Lending.
