Sea Pointe did a solid job with high quality materials and sub-contractors. The design team did a thorough job in helping us design our project to meet our goals and objectives. They were more costly than any other provider, but we decided to move forward for the quality of work.

This is the 2nd time my wife and I have used Sea Pointe (full kitchen remodel a few years ago and now a kitchen restoration job due to a pipe burst in our wall). We can't say enough good things about our experience with Sea Pointe. They come with our highest recommendation! They are extremely professional, very well organized and you can count on high quality work from design to completion. They clearly know what they are doing and care about their customers.A special shout out to the entire Sea Pointe team who were all fantastic, including ***** our designer, ***** our project manager along with his crew of *******, ******, ****** and ***** and even ****** in billing was a pleasure to work with. Thanks, job well done!

BUYER BEWARE!!!We selected Sea Pointe because they had a lot of 4 & 5 Star reviews of people saying they did great quality work. Unfortunately, that couldnt be further from the truth!!! This was not our first home remodel. We used ****** in ********, and they truly were a 5-************ from communication to processes & procedures to luxury quality workmanship. As for Sea Pointe, communication started as a 4-star, however, once the contract was signed, communication dropped to a 2-star. They had gaps in communication with the customer and among their own team members (b/n designers and construction teams). We remodeled 80% of our home. We were told that it would be a 5-month process; it took 14 months. This is because we were given the **team to start and 7 months into the remodel, we got a meeting with the Director of Production, who said she is assigning the A-team and would rework / repair a lot of the poor workmanship of our remodel. This so-called A-team wasnt much better than the initial team and took 7 months to get repairs made. They treated us like they were doing us a favor to make things right. In fact, the assigned project manager, ********, was on video telling the project engineer ******* that we were being nit-picky on the repairs but not to worry because the job was fatly padded. We sent the video to the director and owner and both said it was taken out of context, and that the job was not padded. Were pretty sure we heard it correctly as it is a 6-minute video. They even told us that they werent making much profit on our project. Sea Pointe is HIGHLY over-priced for substandard work. Sea Pointe lacks process, procedures and coordination among their internal work groups. They have a blatant disregard for their customers, but theyll spend hours pulling together CYA emails immediately calling for a void in warranty. Its been 5 months since the remodel was completed and we already have issues (electrical and water damage).

*****, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are deeply sorry to hear about your frustrating experience with Sea Pointe and understand your disappointment. We take all reviews seriously and appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention. We want to assure you that we are committed to providing our clients with a positive and seamless remodeling experience. We readily acknowledge the shortcomings you experienced. We fully accept responsibility for these failures and have taken significant steps to address them. Specifically, during the time of your project, we unfortunately had taken decisive action and parted ways with a Project Manager. Our previous employee behavior does not reflect our company values or the standards we set for our team, and we apologize for the impact this had.We believe transparency and accountability are crucial. While we cannot undo the past, we are committed to appreciating feedback and using it to improve our services for the future. We truly value your business and sincerely hope you will enjoy your home for many years to come. We went to Sea Pointe for a home addition and remodel. They estimated $500k-$700k. We paid $4,100 for design and feasibility on 7/14/21. They then estimated $1.2 million and said without the addition, the project would go below the original estimate. So we removed it and paid $3,600 for design services on 8/20/21.They spent 6+ months struggling with a stairs remodel and offered options with estimates ranging from $300k-$750k, the high end required additions to the stairwell and garage. We got another opinion from a specialist who told us it will fit as is. I showed Sea Pointe and they gave an option that required no additions. The estimate was $390k-$515k. They told us windows, floors, and paint (previously included) are less expensive with folks who specialize in them. We followed the advice and removed them. On 3/10/22, we paid $15,300 for engineering and paid $5,500 for interior design, all told $28,500.9/21/22, Sea Pointe delivered a final agreement over $1 million! We told them it was unacceptable so we ended the relationship. We reached out for a month requesting plans, engineering, and design which we paid $28,500 for. They said they only make plans for their construction. We spoke to engineers and architects to draw up new plans. As we searched for an engineer, we learned Sea Pointe used a third-party engineer not an in-house one. We asked why they didn't tell us but they had no good answer and told the engineer he had to start from scratch. Sea Pointe said they don't share plans because of a paragraph in their contract that said it was the contractors board that required it.We reached out to the board and filed a complaint. The board found they had unlicensed folks signing contracts and that part of their contract was inappropriate and had to be changed.Buyer beware. Sea Pointe will give you low estimates to trick you into paying for engineering and design then more than double the price and say you dont get any of the things that you paid for.
