If I could give them zero stars, I would. Like so many others, I also fell for their scam. The initial letter I received led me to belive that they were affiliated with the ********** of ********** I paid them 3 installments of $333 to have my loans consolidated and get on an income driven payment plan. They said that consolidating my loans would lower the amount I owed - it didn't. The income driven plan disappeared when the payments were due to restart and I had to apply for it again with the **** I just discovered that they are taking $50 a month out of my account to recertify me next year. I did not authorize that & when I called, they tried to tell me that Aidvantage wouldn't remind me to recertify. They also tried telling me that if I forgot to recertify, my loans would no longer be consolidated. I told them to take me off the plan and refund the money that they took out of my account for the recertification. If the money is still taken out of my account next week, I will report them to my credit union as unauthorized charges. If someone gets a class action lawsuit going against them, I will gladly join in. The ********** of ******* needs to investigate these scams, put them out of business & make them repay all of the money everyone who fell for their scam has paid them.

Was also scammed. Reached out to Aidvantage and got the confirmation on the scam. Freezing my account, and filing a report via my bank. If no response or refunded. I'll gladly see you in court.

BEWARE, SCAM ALERT!!!If I could give zero stars I would. This company has lied and scammed my mom when trying to help me pay for school. She entrusted them with consolidating loans in order to help pay off these loans and instead they took her money and lied to me. Please be aware these people will lie, scam and cheat any and all money out of you. It's truly disgusting the advantage this company will take on those who are trusting of others. They took money from us up front (3 installments of $333) and then monthly "fees" ($39.99) until we finally realized this was a complete scam. We will never trust outside companies again, We hope you all will see this and can realize the harm, pain and poverty you're causing those who truly need assistance. We hope you feel good about the damage you're causing on innocent bystanders.

Be Aware! This is not a legitimate business affiliated with the federal government - they are for-profit and you will pay fees for their assistance. The government will consolidate your loans for free at this time. Do not fall for DocHelpNeeds consolidation services. This is a scam. Read the fine print. The letters DocNeeds mails out are predatory and fear based.

I was very happy with this company. They gave me a thorough breakdown regarding my student loans as it's all very confusing to me. as well as helped me to prepare my documents and got me enrolled into the Federal loan forgiveness program. I am forever grateful for this company. I am now gonna have a good portion of my loan forgiven and I have a manageable payment monthly. Thank you Doc Help Needs for all your help! Much appreciatted!

I am sorry to hear your misleading review. We do provide our services so I’m not sure why you would say such a slanderous thing, especially if you never moved forward with our services. We are actually here to help, and the help is here for you still should you need it. We wish you the best of luck.

This company is a scam. Posed as if they were with the ********** of education and set me up with a payment plan that would be 39 dollars a month as long as I paid the fee to get all of my loans consolidated. Red flags everywhere that I didnt spot. They wanted to charge 3 payments of 333 for consolidation. Things started to feel odd after I reached out directly to my loan servicer after a few weeks and they had no record of my paperwork coming in for the payment plan. I talked to the ********** of ** and they told me this is a common scam tactic. They pose as if they are with the government. The money you pay towards your loans actually is pocketed by them. They dont submit any of the paperwork you fill out. So your loans actually go into forbearance while you think youre paying, making you worse off. And lastly, they make ***** off you for consolidation which is actually free through the official student aid site. I reported all of this, froze my credit, reported identity theft as they used my social on paperwork, and I also closed my bank account. The charge ended up going through as pending but my bank caught it as fraudulent before I even called them and I did not have to dispute it. Stay clear.

Hello ******,As I read your review I am very confused because we clearly state we are a third party that provides a services and not the Government. We charge a service fee once all services have been provided. We are not a scam and your slanderous review is very misleading. You where provided everything in writing in a service agreement that you must read and sign so nothing is misleading and we never put students in worse situation. The ***** administration has put student loans in a forbearance, not us. We actually educate you on programs available and find the best situation for you. A perfect example is H&R Block assistance with taxes, you can file for your taxes for free but you go to a professional to ensure the best results, we are a service provider just like H&R Block. Also, we offer a money back guarantee, so we are very far from a scam. Wish you the best of luck and we are very sorry for your confusion. Have a nice day.

Hello, I see that ***** called and based on the income she told us she is correct and she would not qualify for debt forgiveness. She is also correct about us not being the government, we are third party that provides a service. Thank you for your review and we wish you the best of luck.
