    I noticed that this s***** company has been collecting information on my family. I went on the website to delete my information but the website wanted me to upload my ID. I refuse sending them any information nor have I ever shared mine or my familys information. I want our profiles deleted from them immediately and I want to know exactly how they gained access to my information without my consent. Delete any information on my family or I will be filing suit. Class action lawsuits are in order!

    My personal information is found on this site. I tried to opt out but I am asked to upload my drivers license which is again a security issue and I am not comfortable with it. It is my personal info and as per CCPA I should have full control to remove my personal data from the site. Please remove my personal data from your site.

    The ********** Consumer Privacy Act does not cover the public records that Peoplewhiz provides. Even if it was covered under the ***** we do allow any individuals to remove their information from our database. We need to confirm the identity of the person requesting their information to be removed as there can be impersonations and a variety of listings that match their name. Confirming their ID streamlines the process from our end and is the most efficient way for ** to remove this information. However, as a courtesy, we are able to remove the information of the individual without confirmation if they are uncomfortable further verifying their identity. In this case we have gone ahead and removed the listing from our database and they do not need to provide anything additional to complete the request.

    I am attempting to remove my name from the companys database, but they require me go upload a copy of a valid id. This is an unsafe requirement that exposes people to identity theft and an invasion of privacy.

    I want peoplewhiz.com to remove my name from their database. However they require a copy of my drivers license to do so. This is not only unsafe but illegal. Please have them remove my name from their database.

    Yesterday, 4/25/2023 I called People Whiz to correct the following:They have been funneling charges to me every month, sometimes twice in a month, through my Amazon account.I dont recall ever signing up for their service!They said they would cancel my account and refund my charges back three months (at $27.99 per month).They would not refund my charges further back, even though they were charging me through AT LEAST as far back as 3/22, and during that month they charged me $27.99 on 3/22/22 AND 3/26/22.I sent an email to Amazon to ask that they reimburse me for all People Whiz charges that came through them. Did Amazon allow this and support a scam company??? I trusted Amazon to protect me!!What can I do to rectify this situation?I deserve my money refunded.Sincerely, Joycr

    It looks like your account was initially created in September 28th, 2021. Two searches were completed upon sign up with another search not being run until May 2022. I am able to confirm your account has been canceled and your card has been blocked in our system for any further use. We also have been able to process an additional 5 months refund on your account. Please allow 3-5 business days for the credit to be posted to your statement.

    I attempted to request my information be removed from their website only to be told they need my email address, social security number and current address. This is a violation of privacy. They would not provide me with a business address or the persons name I was speaking with.

    I found my personal records on their website and I I followed the instructions to opt-out and they are requesting an ID to opt-out. Even after attempting to submit a redacted driver license, the website kept erroring out and failed to remove my personal records.They are in violation of California Civil Code ********. Consumers Right to Delete Personal Information I want my records removed immediately with no requirement to submit official ID which could lead to identity theft.

    I want my personal information removed from 'peoplewizard' and all other websites that are associated with them. I tried to follow the directions shown under 'Remove My Info'. Their procedure is in error, they never send a response to the email I provided. This means I cannot follow the link that is to be in the email from them. I have tried using different web browsers(Firefox, Bing and Chrome) with no success.
