  I received notification from Norton LifeLock that my personal information is on this data broker site. I requested removal from People whiz and verified via email. I was then told I had to upload or mail in a copy of my id. I have no intention of doing that! There is much too much fraud out there as it stands. Please remove my information. Thank you.

  My personal information was taken by this company without my consent. In order to request the removal of my information, they are requiring me to send them a picture of my driver's license! There is no way I am doing that. I don't know who this company is! I want to be removed from their database without providing even more sensitive information.

  I was alerted my information was for sale by a company named PeopleWhiz. When I followed the directions on their website to have it removed (three instances of my name - all mine yes and NOT different people - one with the bulk of my info which still is indeed me), I was provided a requirement to upload, fax, or email my valid and unexpired ID. I have requested (successfully so far) from other data brokers my information to be removed and this was the first request to upload my ID. This is UNACCEPTABLE. I regularly tell people as a normal course of my job I do *NOT* want them to give me their ID to upload to our company system so that it can protect their identity should there ever be a data breach. This company wants an easy way to confirm identities, but they are just that, a company - one I'm not doing business with currently and trying to remove my information from. The last thing I want to do is have a company build a gigantic database of IDs on file (auditing purposes) and have it a prime target for a data breach. I want my information removed without being the idiot who exposed myself to identity theft by giving too much to someone I don't know and has given me ZERO guarantees a data breach simply cannot happen to THEM.

  On 01 July 2023, I received an alert from Norton/LifeLock that Peoplewhiz.com had reported my personal information. Upon attempting to remove my information from www.peoplewhiz.com/optout, I was informed that I would need to provide a photo ID to prove my identity. I am not going to send a copy of my driver license to an address or upload it online. None of the other brokers requested for a copy of my ID and did take it off without it. I do not want to give sensitive information to random companies to have my personal information removed. I would like PeopleWhiz to remove my profile immediately. I will *** if the need arises.

  I am a recent victim of identity theft. I need my personal information removed from your website. Your company is asking for personal information from me via a drivers licence. While I understand you want to validate my identity, I am not comfortable providing information that could be used with identity theft as your cannot guarentee that my driver's licence couldn't be obtained via theft/data breach, etc.

  6/6/23 I was charged $24.24 by a company I have never heard of called PeopleWhiz. I never signed up, made an account or used their services. According to RocketMoney, this is a monthly subscription and I will be billed that amount monthly. I have attempted to sign in on the PeopleWhiz site and none of my emails have an account with them. I know this because I clicked "forgot password" and then put in my email addresses, and not received an email to change password. If I do not have an account, how am i being charged? My purchases leading up that are basically all at food places and gas stations. It looks like someone stole my card information and sold it to PeopleWhiz. It may be a small amount of money but this is pretty serious criminal activity
