Norton-Lifelock informed me through my privacy-monitoring subscription that PeopleWhiz is offering information about me to those who search for my personal information on their website. When trying to OPT-OUT and thus remove my information from PeopleWhiz through PeopleWhiz's opt-out page at ******************************************, after filling out my details, the PeopleWhiz OPT-OUT procedure informs me that I must upload my photo-ID so they can "verify who I am". I am NOT COMFORTABLE giving a shady, disreputable company like PeopleWhiz a copy of my photo-ID.

Company came up during my McAfee scan over who is tracking me. I called the company and first spoke to a rude woman. She hung up on me while I told her I wanted my info removed from ALL of their multitude of sites that are tracking me which are 15 in total under variations of this name they are using. I called back and got "*****" on the phone. I told him the company has zero business requesting that anyone upload a photo driver ID to their site to get their info removed and that this practice is sketchy to say the least. I told him I will send the company a cease and desist letter to have ALL my information removed from ALL of their tracking sites. He refused to tell me who the owners of this company are which makes it all even more suspicious. Literally no one other then an employer or the police have a right to demand your photo ID's so I want this practice stopped on all of their sites before more people have their personal and private information compromised. No company should be scanning photo ID's. EVER. PERIOD.

I have the same complaint as so many others on here. I am trying to remove my name and all my personal information from peoplewhiz.com website and they are requiring me to submit a photo ID which I am not comfortable giving because it doesn't make sense sending more even more personal information when I'm trying to prevent my personal information from being exposed. Please help me to get them to remove all my information from their database.

I began the process of requesting that my info be removed but then PeopleWhiz asked for a copy of my driver's license. That's sensitive info that I'm not will to provide, and I consider that bad business practice for a public data broker. "Sure we'll remove your data, but you have to provide much more sensitive information first." That's just not right.

For the past several hours, I have been removing my profile from websites that harness my personal information with great success. Then I arrived at this website called PeopleWhiz that is asking for personal and confidential information in order to delete my personal and confidential information. What kind of madness is this? This policy of theirs takes some nerve, and I refuse to confirm my personal data to them. All that I want is to have my information deleted from their website so that I can sleep more peacefully at night. This is all I can write at the moment, because I'm much too furious to remain polite any longer.Still, I demand that they remove my information without any proof of identity from me beyond my email, which they already have and can use to contact me for a confirmation of identity if they wish.

We use Norton to protect my devices. This site is a data broker & was selling our personal info. The site refuses to remove our data without ID. We are trying to opt-out & remove our personal data from this website. No other data brokerage website asks for ID when opting out. We can only imagine what would happen if we provided ********* were hacked or sold this info = IDENTITY THEFT !!! We do not believe for one minute they would keep our identification private. We would like our information removed without being exploited any further. They gathered our info without our ID or our knowledge, they can remove it in the same manner.

I am trying to remove my information from PeopleWhiz and am being asked to upload a copy of my identification in order to do that. I have removed my information from many sites and never have been asked for an id. It defeats the purpose. I'm trying to have as little information out there as possible and now I'm being asked to provide personal information to a company I know absolutely nothing about. I would ask that PeopleWhiz remove my information, as they have done for others, without uploading an id.

While monitoring my identity online, I found it in people-wizard.com database without my permission. When trying to remove it, it requests me to upload or mail an official ID document, which completely compromises my data integrity. On all other similar sites, you just simply request to opt-out and you are done. This feels like they are purposely making it difficult to remove the data in order to continue to make money off my data, which I NEVER gave permission to use. This also provides them with even more private data, and feels like a complete scam. I wish to opt-out completely and have them remove my data.

I am trying to remove my name and personal information from peoplewhiz and they are requiring me to submit a photo ID. I am NOT comfortable giving my photo ID to a random data aggregator. I asked them to remove my info and I do not want to upload or mail a copy of any ID. Further there is no way to select "**" in their state dropdown. This is definitely a low budget site with questionable data security. PLEASE HAVE THEM REMOVE MY DATA!Thank you.
