When to Buy a Jeep as advertised on their website for $23,498. I got there with my bank check and they said in order to get that price I had to finance with them - OK i give my info. Then they tell me oh well this jeep has special add ons and protection plans you have to buy for another $5600 dollars. (ok- the ol car game) i decline and tell them no i don't have to buy those. ill take the jeep without just as advertised. Then they tell me oh well we made a typo on the advertisement. its really ****** sorry. Total waste of time for both me and my bank as well as a hit to my credit for letting run it (before they told me the price was wrong). Im ****** that a large Vehicle retailer is allowed to do this bait and switch type tactics and get away with it.Business Response

Total BS,
I tried (hard) to buy the vehicle for the advertised price plus tax/ fees etc. I was originally told that they could not accept my credit union financing (Navy Federal) and would need to finance through them to get the advertised price, ok, I Agreed and after they ran my credit, I was told there was a Typo in the advertised price and the real price was $39,000.(not $23,492 as advertised) I was further informed the price would be fixed online because there was no way they could sell it for that number. This Vehicle is listed at this price in multiple Places (auto trader, Car gurus, and their own website) This is a deceptive Business practice, wasted my time, my credit unions time, and now i have hard pulls on my report. IF they truly want to sell it at the advertised price, they could have i drove 40 miles to buy it and was onsite. I will also be letting ***, DMV and anyone else who will listen know of the kind of stuff these guys pull. Scammy

I went to purchase a car at a certain price, everything was finalized and i was gonna sign then they throw the dealer accessories on and i tried to tell him i dont want that i calculated my costs with the car and sales tax not with the dealers accessories which was 6k and he tried to lower it to 2k for me they really let me walk out because i wouldnt pay that dealer accessories and on top of this they ignored me for a whole hour just to tell me someone else was gonna buy the car just to have the gsm call me and hour later to tell me it wasnt soldBusiness Response

The dealer refused to sell me a used vehicle at the web-advertised and voice-confirmed price unless I was willing to finance the purchase through the dealership and/or pay as much as $5,800 additional in dealer packages. This dealership had our car for 18 days because it would go in limp mode after a certain rpm. It is a pre certified car with an extended warranty. The dealership said they would only pay 5 days rental car. They took the 18 days to order the parts and then fix it. They continue to charge us for the rental car that has been returned for two weeks. The car is still having electrical issues as of today. It was not safe to drive and they should have paid the original rental car amount due. They should not be charging me each week. It is coming out of my checking account. I visited the Jeep and Dodge dealership website of Huntington Beach Ca on 9/5/2024 at 8:30 am. and saw they were having a Labor Day weekend sale event. They have a 2019 **** Shelby ***** listed for $70,223, with a Dealer discount of $66,898, which brings the advertised price to $3,325. I checked another site called cars.com and again the same price is listed for this car at the Dealership. I contacted the Dealership and the person on the phone became very rude, and when I asked if they would be honoring the price he said what do you think? then paused and very rude and firmly said no not all. I would like this price to be honored since it is on the dealership website and a third-party site as well.Business Response

I purchased a brand new truck, within 3 days it had over 7 problems and would not start. Dodge refuses to give me my money back or work with me in any way. They said it is impossible to give me my money back and then proceeded to say they didnt have to explain how to make payments for the truck loan. I have no idea how to pay and my truck does not work I cant even make money hauling loads because they are holding it in their own shop!Business Response

On October 14, 2023, we went to see a Dodge Callanger 2023, that the dealer advertised for sale for ****** dollars, thru Autotrader. The sales price was confirmed thru email and by the salesman, ***********************, when we arrived. We were assured that the sales price was our starting point when we applied for credit and negotiated the additional costs. After signing the sales agreement and taking the car home, and while sending information to the insurance company is when the sales price was at ****** dollars. Two thousand dollars more than was agreed to. We called the dealer many times and spoke with *********************** and his manager ****. They acknowledged that it was a mistake and that they will try and resolve the problem, but after many weeks later and phone calls, nothing has been resolved.Business Response

I purchased a 2018 Ram **** (*****************) from this business for $39,000 in October 2019. I also purchased a service plan for $5,000 and an extended warranty for $5,000. I traded in the truck for another in ****************, before the warranty expired and before the service contract was completely used. I am *********** a partial refund of both line items. I have contacted the business at least ten times. Emails have been send and I have spoken to online operators and I have been promised my issue will be resolved. To date I have not been contacted about this issue. I first spoke with *************************** you put me in touch with ***********************. She instructed me to submit the forms to *****************************. I traded in this truck on August 3rd 2023. It has been over two months and they haven't taken any action to make this right. I have called almost every week and the Finance Manager will never answer the phone. Previous issues with the ability to use both the maintenance plan and the extended warranty have been an issue as soon as I purchased the truck but have been resolved. They still owe me a partial payment for the remained of the two items as of the sale date above. I would estimate the refund to be about $2,000- $4000. I have email proof of our interactions and the forms that I have submitted. I attempted to upload them but they exceed the data limit. Please let me know if I can submit these in some other manner. I took my car to Huntington Beach Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram for a routine service and while it was in the dealer's possession one of the service technicians had a collision while moving my car on the repair lot. The dealership called me and said there had been an accident and they suspended the employee who was involved that had caused the damage. The service mgr stated they were going to make all repairs at no cost to me. When I asked about the reduction in value that would effect my car (2022 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4dr) the agent said there would be no record of the accident so it would not effect the value. No estimate of charges or details of the repairs have been shared with me to date and the dealer is still in possession of my vehicle. The dealership advised me to come in and pick up a rental car at no cost to me while they worked on repairing my car which could take 2-3 weeks to complete. I later spoke to the general manager, *****************************, to express my concerns about the impact that the accident would have on the value of my car as now it has been damaged and when I go to trade it in I will be asked whether or not my car has been involved in an accident to which I will be liable to disclose that it had and that will in fact effect the value of my car. **** asked me what I wanted in addition to them making the repairs and I stated that I had to process what had happened and asked if I could meet with him when I came in to pick up the rental car. **** gave me a window of time that he would be onsite and available to meet with me. I arrived at the dealership during the window of time that **** offered and checked in with the receptionist. I was told to have a seat and she would alert ****. After waiting for ***** minutes the receptionist came over to tell me that **** was not available to meet with me. I have reached out several time to both ***************************** and *********************** to try and reach a fair solution, and both have ignored me and my representatives.Business Response

Entered a used car transaction on 9/8/2023 for a Jeep Rubicon (orange) and on the way home the cars power steering stopped working almost causing an accident. The car also stalled at this point turning on the check engine light with the stability control module message. Used car dealer was notified and car returned into the dealer's possession on 9/11/2023. It has been more than 3 weeks now and I have not been notified of any resolution to the problem.One voice message was received from the service department on 9/13/2023 claiming that the car is being worked on. Two weeks without any messages from the dealer at this point. This has been by far the worst car buying experience I ever had at any dealer. Waiting for an amicable solution.Business Response
