I recently purchased a new ram truck and I paid extra to install leather seats but decided not to put them so I canceled the leather.. so instead of sending me my refund check back to me, it was sent to the loan bank which was never part of the deal... the dealership(*******) said I'd have my check returned to me like he promised but doesn't know why it was sent to stelantis. And that they cant help me with that... I've spoke with the stelantis bank and they recommended i also file this complaint because that dealer is not trying to help me in any way...

      Business Response

      Date: 07/21/2025

Your leather seats were done inside the contract and you did not pay the $2500.00 directly to the dealership, they were included in the balance of your loan.  As such when you decided to cancel them the amount contracted for was refunded back to the lien holder and your balance was reduced by that amount.  If you have any questions please call the Dealerships Finance Director ***** Rodriguez

      Customer Answer

That isn't what we agreed too. I  specifically said that I didnt want to add  the leather interior to the loan and I was told by(***** and *******) that I wasn't going to be..

But they Lied!!!!! And when I asked why my check was sent to ********, they couldn't even give me an explanation.

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership in March 2025. By June 2025, with only ***** miles driven, I brought the car in to their Downtown, *********** location for an inspection and was told that the engine air filter, cabin air filter, and rear shocks were in poor condition. The air filters were deemed dirty, and the rear shocks were leaking.Based on standard vehicle maintenance guidelines, air filters typically last around ****** miles, and shocks should last between ************ miles or more under normal driving conditions. Given that I only put ***** miles on the car, it is highly unlikely that these components deteriorated so quickly unless they were already in poor condition at the time of sale. This suggests that the vehicle was sold to me with worn or defective parts, which should have been inspected and repaired prior to the sale. I have made over ten phone calls to the dealership in an attempt to resolve this issue. Unfortunately, I have been repeatedly transferred between departments, hung up on, and ultimately told there is nothing they can do.I am requesting that the dealership cover the full cost of repairing or replacing the faulty air filters and rear shocks, as these should have been addressed before the vehicle was sold to me. I believe this is a reasonable request given the short timeframe and limited mileage since the purchase.

      Business Response

All pre-owned vehicles undergo a thorough inspection and reconditioning by the delarship.  If you have any concerns please contact **** ******* the Director of Fixed operations who will address any concerns with you.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 07/14/2025

I respectfully reject the businesss response, as it fails to address the specific and reasonable concerns outlined in my initial complaint. While I appreciate that the dealership claims to perform inspections on all pre-owned vehicles, this does not account for the fact that, within just ***** miles of driving after my March 2025 purchase, I was advised by your own service location that the engine air filter, cabin air filter, and rear shocks were all in poor condition. These components typically last far beyond the *****-mile ***** with industry standards indicating lifespans of approximately ****** miles for air filters and at least ************ miles for shocks under normal conditions.
This suggests that these parts were already worn or defective at the time of sale. Rather than addressing this concern, the businesss response simply refers me to yet another contact person after I have already made over ten unsuccessful attempts to resolve this through phone calls, being transferred, hung up on, and told repeatedly that nothing could be done.
This pattern of redirection, lack of accountability, and refusal to offer a meaningful resolution is unacceptable. I am not seeking anything unreasonable only that the dealership take responsibility for selling a vehicle with components that were likely already in poor condition and cover the cost of the necessary repairs. I ask that this matter be resolved fairly, without further deflection.

      Business Response

      Date: 07/14/2025

Again, please contact the Director of Fixed operations **** ******* who can speak with you in more detail regarding your issues.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 07/15/2025

As the consumer, I believe my concerns warrant a thorough investigation, and I should be contacted directly by ****. I should not be expected to continuously chase down different representatives for assistance. At this point, I am simply requesting that my vehicle be repaired at no cost, as this issue should be resolved promptly and appropriately.

I am writing to formally complain about my experience at your dealership on May 8, 2025, specifically regarding the unacceptable behavior of an employee named Israel. I request a thorough investigation into this matter and a reasonable response from your ********** 11:00 AM, I visited your dealership to discuss the purchase of my vehicle through an auction. Israel informed me that my vehicle required a mechanical inspection, which would take approximately one and a half hours. However, after waiting for three hours, I approached him to inquire about the status. He stated that he could only offer $33,000 for my vehicle, significantly below the auction price of $36,400. I declined the offer, and he then raised it to $34,000, which I also rejected.Israel then suggested we go to the parking lot to inspect my vehicle. During the inspection, he pointed out a damaged cover, and I questioned whether such a minor issue justified the large price discrepancy, jokingly asking, Does this cost $2,000? This comment angered him, and he responded with highly offensive language, saying, Who the f*** do you think youre talking to, you fing little b*? Shocked, I attempted to record the interaction with my phone for evidence, at which point he quickly walked toward the store entrance. I followed to continue the conversation, but at the entrance, he suddenly turned and lunged toward me, standing uncomfortably close and taunting, Touch me, theres a camera over there.Fortunately, a colleague intervened and separated us. Shortly after, Israel went inside, smoked with another person, and continued to stare at me provocatively from within the store, further escalating my discomfort.

I bought a used car from Huntington. My agreement was for the vehicle price, fees, license plates, and registration. I specifically discussed this with the salesperson, that I did not want any optional equipment, services, or warranties. He said that would be fine. As the car sale information was drawn, and as I was reviewing it, they said there was a mistake and a correction was needed prior to signing. Without my permission, an $1,800 option was added for a **** theft deterrent device/service. I didn't notice the newly added option, until I reviewed the sale transaction on the *** handed to me as receipt. Later, the dealership called me and said they need to come out to my vehicle to deactivate the security device. If the dealership came out to deactivate it, it is clear that it was known that I declined the service, but I was still charged the $1,800. I have been calling the finance department and have left messages for one week now. The finance/accounting department have not called back to try to resolve I would like the $1,800 frivolous charge reimbursed, please.

I purchased a truck from them on 01/10/2025 and was promised a warranty for the vehicle. They were given 6 thousand dollars separate from the purchase of the truck. 2 months and 1 week later the company i supposedly have a warranty with says the contract isn't in the system. Every time I try to reach out to this dealership I get a run around. I call get transferred and no one answers. I call someone answers they take my info down promise to call me back and no one calls me. I have been trying for 2+ weeks to get a resolution to my issue. Either they stole the money which I have receipts for, someone made a mistake with the contract, or I need my money back ++++.

Back in 2019 this business bought back my old car and rolled over my balance to the new loan. Come to find out in 2024 they never submitted appropriate documentation to ***. The old vehicle is STILL registered to me and they have let it off their lot registered to me. I only found out because ******* intercepted my tax return for toll fees from *********. I have attempted to have this issue resolved with no success. Israel the purchasing manager has not once called me back or answered my calls since i brought this issue up to him. However, when I contacted ***, I learned:The payoff check was sent on October 31, 2024, 10 days later than promised.TFS received the check on November 6, 2024, causing further delays. This delay pushed back the process significantly:TFS did not send the title until November 26, 2024 due to the late ********* of December 2, 2024, I have yet to receive the title or a firm resolution.Throughout this process, communication has been poor. I have made multiple attempts to follow up:On December 2, 2024, ****** informed me the title has not been received and advised me to call back in a few days.I also messaged Israel to confirm if he would honor his promise to expedite the final check, but I have received no clear commitment. The lack of professionalism, delayed timelines, and vague updates have caused significant frustration. Date of occurrence 11/27/2024 Purchasing a vehicle. Told us it was our fault and that if we wanted to reach out to the Manager on Friday 11/29/2024. Nothing was done to solve the problem. I visited a car dealership to purchase a vehicle. I arrived and met with the salesperson and told him I wanted to test drive the car. The sales representative handed me the key to the car to test drive it. I took the car for a test drive, and I returned to the dealership to negotiate a deal. After reaching an agreement on the price, I signed the paperwork thinking I was getting the car I test drove. However, at the end of the process, they gave me a different car than the one I had test driven. They knowingly deceived me. I was almost driving away when I noticed the difference. I return the car to the dealership. But I was deceived, lied to, scammed defrauded and cheated.

When to Buy a Jeep as advertised on their website for $23,498. I got there with my bank check and they said in order to get that price I had to finance with them - OK i give my info. Then they tell me oh well this jeep has special add ons and protection plans you have to buy for another $5600 dollars. (ok- the ol car game) i decline and tell them no i don't have to buy those. ill take the jeep without just as advertised. Then they tell me oh well we made a typo on the advertisement. its really ****** sorry. Total waste of time for both me and my bank as well as a hit to my credit for letting run it (before they told me the price was wrong). Im ****** that a large Vehicle retailer is allowed to do this bait and switch type tactics and get away with it.

      Date: 09/19/2024

      Total BS,

I tried (hard) to buy the vehicle for the advertised price plus tax/ fees etc. I was originally told that they could not accept my credit union financing (Navy Federal) and would need to finance through them to get the advertised price, ok, I Agreed and after they ran my credit, I was  told there was a Typo in the advertised price and the real price was $39,000.(not $23,492 as advertised) I was further informed the price would be fixed online because there was no way they could sell it for that number. This Vehicle is listed at this price in multiple Places (auto trader, Car gurus, and their own website) This is a deceptive Business practice, wasted my time, my credit unions time, and now i have hard pulls on my report.  IF they truly want to sell it at the advertised price, they could have i drove 40 miles to buy it and was onsite. I will also be letting ***, DMV and anyone else who will listen know of the kind of stuff these guys pull. Scammy
