1 starAvoid Airport Home Appliance for appliance installation. The sales experience of purchasing the range hood with ****** *. at the ******* location went well. Installers came out for a pre-install measurement. They said they wouldn't do the finishing work such as paint. They said nothing about needing drywall to patch up. We said we were OK with finishing the paint ourselves. When scheduling the install, the phone *** said we were getting the best installers they have who do beautiful work. Day of installation one installer asked if we had sheetrock so they could patch up the ceiling. We did not have any on hand, and were unable to leave the house to go get any. They did not offer to go out and get any drywall themselves (there was an ACE hardware store 0.9 miles away). They said that **** tells them not to carry drywall with them because it slows down and makes them late for their other jobs. He had the nerve to ask for a 5 star rating on their way out the door. I've contacted a handyman service I've worked with before who said it would require removal of the island range hood to patch up and it was out of their scope. Another GC said they can do it without removing the hood for $320. So we paid $1k for installation of this range hood with unfinished work. *** installation dispatch team said the installers are willing to come back out for $250 to finish it. The claim in their notes is, "Customer agrees to have GC do finishing work." No we agreed to painting. We did not discuss who would patch up the ceiling. I would've paid a reasonable additional fee for them to pick up the drywall and patch up the ceiling at time of installation, which they made no offer to do so. I called and left a voicemail for ****** *. with no response. Multiple calls to the installation team, including ***, have gone nowhere and I keep having to call to follow up. The most recent call, Thursday 7/24, I was told they'd call me back in several hours--it is now Monday afternoon with no response.Airport Home Appliance

1 starBought an in-stock floor model from their ************** on a Tuesday - had to flight like the ******* to get them to deliver it and it took until Saturday. Apparently they don't inventory their floor models and NO ONE knew how to get it into the system for delivery. I called multiple times and the sales associate said lots of people have this problem and no one knows how to fix it. I called for a manager twice and was told "*******" would call me back. He never did. All I heard on every call or text is "unfortunately" we have no solution, "unfortunately we have no one to call", "unfortunately we missed the next deliver window". Unfortunately I will never be a customer again, This place is a joke and now I have no confidence in the product I purchased or their 5 year service plan. Hope nothing goes wrong or it's another "unfortunately" situation.Review fromLesmore B

1 starWhere do I begin. I placed an order and the sales associate apparently had an incorrect delivery address. I notified them of the error and to update, no response. Then they claim to have completed delivery. Several emails and chats with no resolution or responses. Do not do business with this place. Have to now have my credit card company step in to rectify and now cannot move forward with getting my appliances until the issue is resolved because they have my money.Review fromNikki T

1 starTheir 3 year protection plan is a joke. I bought a dishwasher of 1000 dollars from them and I also bought the plan. In the 2nd year, the dishwasher started to leak water during wash cycles. I called Airport Home Appliance and they sent 2 technicians to my place. None of the 2 technicians could fix the dishwasher. They couldn't even give a cause. 2 of them gave total different causes. The 2nd technician was even worse that he stressed out while I was watching him working. He then turned emotional and started to complain about my dishwasher, then he punched it 2 to 3 times while he couldn't come up an explanation of the leak. The whole time of submitting my support request, the 2 technicians, and the wait for a final resolution took more than 2 months. In the end, Airport Home Appliance told me they won't do anything else for me but will just refund me for the protection plan I paid. The worst reseller ever!!Review fromKusum m

1 starI bought several appliances. Sales people are ready to sell and up and up on it to sell only but doesn't service at all. **************** drives you *********** you non stop and the message is if you don't reply then your delivery is at risk, so so many times you have to answer the phone, I complained but no use. Same people also claim to install the appliances but have an excuse that the line is too small or old and don't install but charge for the installation and don't issue credit which I think should be illegal. Installation team didn't open the refrigirator, didn't install the range and didn't pick up the range but charged $50.00 for each item pick up. I have been texting the sales person but it's not working. How should I get my money back? Their practices are not right.last time delivery team dented the appliance, I told the sales person but the person didn't care and ignored the call and text.Review fromMichael P

1 starI bought a Bosch dishwasher with installation and removal of the old unit. The installers opened the d/w box before they determined they could not install it due to a plumbing issue. I was never told about the two-day return policy by the installer or my salesperson, although it was clear I would need more than two days to get a plumber out there to look into the issue. Then AA refused to take the product back seven days later when solving the plumbing problem resolved the problem with the old dishwasher. The unit is absolutely untouched, other than by the installer. All of this, after I offered to pay a restocking fee, and for their delivery and pick-up costs. I should have bought this from *******Review fromJen O

1 starI had the impression this was a reputable company. Unfortunately it is not. I purchased a "blemished" dishwasher from them online (I specifically asked and was assured the blemish was cosmetic, not functional). When it was delivered I commented to the installer that the little dent on the front was not bad at all and what a great way to save some money. Ten days later when it stopped working and I had to have the Bosch repair person come out he showed me the extent of the "blemishes" which consisted of dents and cracks in the plastic around the outside of the unit to the point that it looked like it fell off a truck. As he described it: "Tank was damaged at the top and bottom right rear. This is a structural part of the dishwasher and can't be field repaired or replaced."It is shocking that a supposedly reputable company would be so dishonest as to **** off a product with such extensive visible damage without making the customer aware of it (of course the damage is only visible when one is looking at the dishwasher pulled out from under the counter and of course the installer did NOT show me or tell me about this damage). And as the technician says ***** cannot repair it. Seriously what a horrible business practice to trick customers like this and saddle them with a functionally damaged and unrepairable product. When I asked for Airport Appliance to make things right by replacing the product with the same Bosch model that I had ordered they refused. Pointing me towards other units where I would either be getting a poorer quality product or I would have to pay them more money to get the unit I had ordered. Dumping defective products on customers without telling them and then refusing to make things right after they've been caught I just don't understand how a company can even do this. This is so wrong and I'm so furious. They assure me they will get my $300 ************* fee reimbursed. Needless to say, I am worried whether they actually will.Review fromYin C

1 starThis is the worst Independent appliance store I have ever worked with! I purchased a wash tower from them during Black Friday sale last November 2023. A day later, I find a better deal at ******* So I call my sales representative from Airport home appliance, *****************************, to cancel my order (which was within their cancellation policy). He tries to get me to stay with them by offering 3 different rebates and sends me the rebate information to confirm. So I decided to stay with Airport home appliance after hearing about all the rebates and discounts I'll be getting with them. About a few days later when I try to go online to register for the 3 rebates, only 2 out of the 3 were valid for my purchase!! I reach out to ***** and tell him how disappointed I am in this. The only reason I stayed with Airport home appliance was because of these rebates he claimed were good for my purchase! I don't hear back from him for a few days, so I decide to cancel the all together. When ***** finally does call me back, not only is he unapologetic, he tries to blame me for not waiting for him to cancel. I get no apology from him regarding his misinformation and his attitude was very unprofessional. After cancelling the order, I was finally given an incorrect refund amount. I called multiple times to try to get this issue resolved and was promised a phone call from a manager, but never heard back. This was almost 2 months ago and I still have not received the correct refund for my purchase back to my credit card. This business lacks integrity and ethics and should be shut down. Whoever the *** of this company should be ashamed of how Airport Home Appliance operates and treats their customers. The sales people here work on predatory tactics to get you to buy with them. And if a problem ever comes up with the order, they will not take any accountability. This whole experience has been very stressful and frustrating to say the least.Airport Home Appliance
