    We have had many closets designed and installed by Closets by Design over the past five years. We always had a positive experience with both the sales people and the installers. When it came time to do a remodel on our duplex we planned to have the closets done by this company that we have had a good relationship with in the past. Unfortunately this time it did not work out that way for us. This has been a most unpleasant experience from the beginning, with the designer who came out to consult with me and my wife on 10/26/2023. He seemed a little disinterested in the project, to the point of being a little confused as to upstairs or downstairs locations. There is no downstairs unit. Drawings looked a little confusing to me but I have to trust the process. Afterall you have done good work for us in the past. The installer was met at the property on 11/17/2023, by my wife and general contractors we have working on the remodel. The installer was not able to make sense of the measurements or drawings made by the salesman. The installer recommended that we not install the closets until we get in contact with the designers and get this cleared up.Several attempts to reach designers, salesmen, or anyone else during a holiday season went unanswered. At this point we would like to cancel the whole project and put this unpleasant experience and trouble behind us, in order to get on with the remodel of the property.After waiting patiently for your management team to reach out to us and discuss further, we lost interest. We finally reached out to your management team ourselves, only to be told that there was nothing they could do for us and that CBD will be keeping any money that we have put down for a product that was never **************** learned. CBD will not be getting any more business from me or any of our associates.

    When arriving day of installation, the installer did a walk through for our pre-installation check list. The husband (the one who signed the contract) was not there just the wife and contractctor.they were not able to answer the questions on which closet was which they asked to postpone the installation until the husband was available. By the time we were able to reach the client the requested to cancel the installation. The manager did explain they we could not cancel the contract, but we would be happy to come back out and move forward client declined. This product has already been manufactured and client is past their 3 day right to cancel if they choose to cancel, they forfeit their deposit.

    We had a designer from Closets by Design design a closet organization system with no verification doing by installers prior to installation. Design issue was identified at installation (e.g. shelf was improper width), there were damaged components (shelves, drawer **********.), missing components, incorrect components, and improper installation (e.g. bad cuts, etc.). We have repeatedly made calls, sent texts, done emails, and have had 5 visits to date and clearly not clear resolution will occur. The also charged ** in full even though project was not complete AND we didn't authorize credit card payment. We have are seeking resolution by completion in full and compensation for our suffering (repeatedly having to stay home from work).
