    I booked a room here from July 28 to the 29tj 2021. I booked this because it has been so hot and I wanted to use the pool. I checked in at 5pm and attempted to get in the pool. It was full of children and they were being wild I got smacked with a beach ball etc. There were very few parents watching the kids and no hotel staff ever checked in to see the conditions there etc. I got out and went and got dinner and attempted to get back in close to 8pm an the same kids were there and even less adults and again at no time did hotel staff ever check in. The kids were doing cannon balls from the side and truly there was no enjoyment of the pool to be had. I got out again and went to my room where I called the front desk. It was 8 30 pm then and I spoke to ****. I explained the situation and said i was not staying the night as it was and how upset I was about the pool and I wanted a refund. She simply said no. And that was that. I have attempted to contact her since and she won't reply.

    My 85 year old mother had a fire in her home. Checked mom in to the Piccadilly Hotel and got her a handicap accessible room. They made the reservation for just 2 days but new it may be a week or two stay and possibly longer and they had no problem with that. They just said to let them know by the 2nd day if she would need to extend the room. After staying two days the manager Renee made my elderly mother move out because she asked them a couple of questions such as how to use the coffee pot in the room and about the continental breakfast. Renee told me she required too much care and they are not a long term property and that the maximum stay they allow is 2 days. First of all that is a lie as I was able to go online and book another room for my mom for 2 weeks and I got a confirmation email from them however when Renee found out I did that she refused to honor it and made her get out. Really? My mother is perfectly capable of taking care of herself and doesn't need their "care". She asked a question or two. Big deal. Renee was very rude and not willing to budge. They obviously don't really care about their guests and don't want to be "bothered" if you have a question.
