The second month's bill after MeterNet began reading our moble home park's electric meters, we received a bill almost $400 DOLLERS MORE than we usually pay! We, for years, have been paying $100 dollars a month. After this ridiculously high bill, we complained; including pictures, multiple emails, and ******* refused a correction. MeterNet said we had to speak with our park's management company for a correction. The management company sent us back to MeterNet. The meter company insists the reading is correct. This is in no way possible by any stretch of the imagination! The next bill we received (for the next month) was back to $100 dollars. Gee, imagine that. We will continue in our pursuit to have this over charge corrected; legally if necessary.

I'm so sorry for any frustration *****, and I wish we could make a change to your statement! We simply read the meters monthly and create the statements based on those meter reads. There is no markup on the rates charged, and these are the exact rates from the electric company. All moneys collected are reimbursed back to the community, as they pay the overall electric bill for the community. It does sound like there is something strange happening here, and I wish we could just change your meter read and adjust this. Unfortunately, because it's not our money, legally we are unable to make any changes without approval from your community. If they do approve a change, we can get your statement updated and get you a credit right away.

Meternet has come in and in 2 months raised my electric bill by 3 times normal... They don't show any meter readings or kilowatts used at all...instead they have a charge for "Delivery" $314.98 and for "Generation" $294.48 no explanation provided to explain what these charges are for???? it's just cruel as I live in a senior modular home park and have a fixed income of $1100 a month... they are not helpful online at all.. They should be investigated for certain....**************

I'm so sorry about any confusion ***** and I wish I could help with those costs! Unfortunately, we do not set the rates and pricing for the power. That is set by your community's ***************** We only provide the billing statements for your community. The costs and fees shown on your statement are directly from your community's electrical company, with zero ********* If your bill is higher than normal, this is because your meter is showing a higher than normal usage, and/or the electrical company has increased their rates. The statement we provided should show the exact meter reads for your home, how much power was used during the statement period, and the rate charged by the power company. If you still feel the usage was incorrect, sometimes meters do malfunction. In that case, you'll want to reach out to your Property Manager, as they would be responsible for the meter maintenance and may be able to have it tested or replaced.I'm sorry again if this was not clear when you spoke with our team here, and if you do have any questions, I'd be happy to help out. You can reach me at ************************************

It took months and months to get Meternet to finally take the former tenant in my apartment off of my account. I was billed for her past due amount for 5 months. When I finally convinced Meternet that I was a new resident, the balance that I had paid disappeared, along with the former residents account. I was just billed for the amount that I paid in September of 2022 that disappeared, along with a random 30 dollar late fee. The website is antiquated and arcane and the customer service folks are just nasty and surly. I hate having to deal with Meternet. Id rather have a root canal without novacaine.

Hello,I apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused. Although your move in date was in April MeterNet was not notified until a few months later. Your phone call prompted us to check our records and confirm with your Property Manager. MeterNet requires move in information from the property manager to open and close accounts. Once we received confirmation we went ahead and closed the old tenants account and activated your account. However, when you created your online portal the incorrect account number was linked to your portal causing you to see an incorrect balance and fees as that belonged to the old tenant. I confirmed with our accounting team that they did issue a refund for the payment you made of $70.09, that was sent out to your mailing address. Our office did attempt to contact you to notify you that we had created your new MeterNet account however we were unable to leave a voicemail. We also did send statements with your name and the new account number that showed the correct balance due. Our customer service team strives to provide the best customer service, and I apologize if you felt you didnt get the quality customer service you deserve. We appreciate your feedback as this is important to us and will be used to coach our team in the future.

Meternet sub-metering services does not really check your meters. I was gone from my apartment for 10 days in November. According to Meternet, my usage of water and sewer increased, not decreased, during the month! I was gone from my apartment for nearly 20 days in December-early January. Wonder how much water and sewage I used during that time? This company runs a scam. Consumers, check your meters! Don't just pay your bill without questioning it.

Hi Kapuanani - we appreciate you sharing your situation with us. We would be more than happy to discuss this situation with you further so we can get to a resolution. Have you reached out to our customer service team at ******************************************* or at **************? We would be happy to assist you. I would like to mention that, with the exception of our service fee, everything we collect from residents for payments of their bills goes back to the association or apartment community owner. So it does not benefit us in any way to collect more or less from a resident for water usage. We earn a flat fee for our service and the rest goes back to our community associations or owners so they can pay the water utility for costs incurred across the community. If your meter is registering usage while you are away we can come inspect the meter for any faulty measurement and if needed make a replacement. To reiterate, we do not benefit by billing you for usage you did not incur, we collect your payments on behalf of your apartment owner. Please contact us so we can find the answer to your situation - we are an honest company doing our best to provide great service.Thank you,***********************
