    I purchased their sheers September 22 of 2023 and was excited to begin using them. Its now been 6 months ( today is March 28, 2024) of using them and I am really unhappy. I was told by my rep when I first purchased them that I would go through a period of needing to adjusting them before I settle in with them. Now Im wondering if thats just a way to sell someone the sheers. They will bend the hair, or feel like they are dull when they are new. They do not perform well. I did everything my rep instructed me to do and find these sheers to be a poor investment and do not recommend spending the high price.I called customer service today and they told me that they just need to be sharpened. I dont do the volume of cutting most stylists do and find it strange that I will be needing to send them in every six months to sharpen. I was unhappy with these 6 weeks in but kept doing the adjusting I was instructed to do hoping I would finally find a sweet spot but never did. Im very unhappy with this purchase and wanted to warn future stylists to do their research before investing in these.

    ******* told me that I would be able to return any Shears that I did not like. Up sold me on what I wanted and then refused to return the Shears. **************** puts you on hold and doesnt answer. Very unprofessional will never buy from this company again.

    Authorized 4x the amount I was paying under a guaranteed contract without speaking to me or getting granted permission. This is FRAUD on SOO many levels. They can have their s***** shears back Im done.

    Unprofessional sales rep. *** truthful about pricing- wont put a price on paper and make you do a payment plan. Preach how you have 15 days to return if youre unhappy, then when you do you get passive aggressive ig messages making you feel guilty! LOL what a crock. Out of pity I kept one of the shears and tried to love the second. Its not even sharp! They sent me a replacement, wrong length. Wont respond to email to send the wrong ones back. Huge scam.

    Ive been cutting hair last ****************************************************************************************************************** over $2000. I feel extremely stupid to trust them all. I hated the fact that these shears just **** the hair. They dont cut right. Embarrassing when your shears **** the hair in front of a client. Not professional at all and company is not taking their garbage back they just want to sharpen them each one $50. They even replaced a broken one and it's the same thing. Shame on you Hattori hanzo!!

    Ive been using Hanzo for years. I have multiple shears, and I signed up for the stay sharp program, which I only actually got to use twice in four years. An entire year passed recently with no sharpening or contact from any reps. I cannot believe this company still runs. Who are they impressing? I finally called because I needed to at least schedule a sharpening. I could not get a hold of anyone. My first contact was rude. Then this guy called me back and was so unbelievably rude to me that it was actually pretty funny. This is a guy who is high ** in the company. I was blown away. Im going to void my warantee to have hikari sharpen my tools from now on. Should have stayed with them to begin with.

    I bought one pair of Hattori Hanzo shears. They are fine. They convinced me to sign up for a shear sharpening program for 1 year of unlimited sharpening. I sent out the hattori shears and two of my ****** premium shears from *****. They came back so dull and so tight I had to have them sent to my normal sharpening service to have them revived. I contacted by Hattori Hanzo rep **** and explained what happened and ask him to cancel the account. he is great but it didnt happen. I also called the customer service line. They have not stopped harassing me sending phone calls all day about paying for services that were absolutely horrendous and I already paid for three months of the service as well as having to have my shears resharpened. The customer service representatives are so rude, they will not listen they just talk over you and demand money for terrible services. I have been getting phone calls repeatedly since 2020.. I have spoken with them so many times, and they will not back down. I dont have time for their nonsense. Obviously the company itself is starving for money if they need that bad. Im sorry, but Im a single mom and a solo business owner, a hard worker, and Im not paying in for services that I had to have redone from 3 years ago.

    They charged me twice in one month for a new set I purchased. Then the rep added 3k worth of products to my account, I assume so she could get a commission, then I was charged for that too.The manager called me to let me know she has no idea why I was charged multiple times in one month which made me question why she bothered calling me if she didnt have an answer or resolution. These people are shady scammers hiding behind a supposed high end brand. Heed my warning and stay away!

    This customer worked with a representative who did not abide by our company policies and is no longer working with our company. Since then, corporate has communicated with the customer to address concerns, and her account is now resolved and in good standing.

    I made a $3407.01 purchase for shears, *****, amongst other things in February of 2018. After paying the shears off in February of 2018 in December of 2020 and not agreeing to renew my sharpening contrract I had found out that I was being charged $14.07 a month for the last several years every month without consent, an agreement or any other legal document giving authorization to charge my card. This is a card I have not used in many years and do not even receive statements for. I contacted Hattori Hanzo Shears on numberous occasions with absolutey no resolution or call back so I am reporting this to BBB to file a complaint and hope to resolve this issue and be refunded for the funds paid out without a contract or authorization. I have requested on numerous occasions this payment be stopped and credit card removed from account, and still I am being charged every month for many years.

    These shares are terrible. They wont even do it what they are supposed to do cut hair. Our group was told we could get a refund at any time we decided we were not satisfied with the purchase. The company is refusing to honor this. They are liars. They are also very unprofessional.
