    Date: April 1, 2024 Order: N-****** I was charged $178.60 for a "quarterly subscription box" advertised to be a value of > $200. First, I would have to disagree with the value listed, I requested a breakdown of the value of the items included to compare and have received no response. While I am unhappy with some of the items I received and their supposed valuation, the actual major issue here I am requesting assistance from the BBB is due to the lack of safety of items they are selling. I immediately reached out to the Nomadik after receiving the box via email and this is part of what I said:"It was an unbelievable waste of money and unsafe. Many of the items included in this pack are EXPIRED! The worst being OVER A YEAR. AND that includes medications. The expired items were found in multiple packs and I cant trust anything other than a giant useless plastic bottle. I have included in this email a picture of some of the expired items youre trying to sell as a part of a wilderness safety pack. "I received no response. It has been well over a month since I first reached out to them and have since submitted several requests for contact through their webpage and via email but have not received a response to any. I included a picture of the items because I am a healthcare professional myself and find it dangerous for companies to sell medications to customers to use backcountry that are actually expired.

    Nomadik is a scam and an awful business. They automatically renew subscriptions with ZERO reminder of renewal. I thought I had canceled my renewal that was purchased the year prior. Normal companies with morals send out reminders if a renewal. This company does not. Their goal is to trap you in. As soon as I saw thr change for 12 months of renewal boxes I contacted them and said I didn't want it. Nothing had been sent to me. Nothing ever was sent to me. But they refused and said no their policy is no refunds for renewals. Ask why they can't refund something. What did I put them out? I'd even pay for one box. But no. They made me keep the entire 12 month subscription. This company needs to be stopped. Over and over and over again you see this exact complaint. It's been brought to their attention but their entire goal is to trap people in. It's sad. And at a time when people are tight on money it's very difficult to swallow.

    I signed for this subscription service on March 9, 2023 and ordered their shower box. On March 13, I ordered their emergency prep box. This is supposed to be a quarterly subscription.On APRIL 1, 2024, I was billed for two additional boxes of each for $166.97 LESS than a month from my orginal subscrption.SO... NOT QUARTERLY and they sent me duplicates of what i had already purchased. I asked to return them and was told no.PLEASE STOP THIS COMPANY Because I am out $333.94 and they refuse to refund me.

    On 3/1/24 I was reviewing options for entering a Sprinter Van sweepstakes on www.thenomadik.com and somehow I was charged for a box I did not authorize. I was already a member of the quarterly delivery service and did not need another box. Once I saw the charge on my account, I immediately contacted the company for a refund, and they ignored my email for several days. On 3/5/24, I received what appears to be an automated message denying me a cancellation and a refund and several automated messages following that do not address the problem. I have since cancelled both my regular service and the unauthorized purchase, but the company refuses to refund me $180.85.

    Thanks for replying back. We apologize if there was a misunderstanding.

    Your then active subscription (purchased on Feb 6th) is scheduled to renew on March 1st. It might've been a coincidence that you were looking at the sweepstakes page, but that did not trigger the charge. It was because your subscription was set to renew on that date. Our Quarterly renewal schedules are every: March 1st, June 1st, Sept 1st, and Dec 1st. Upon signing up, it says that you have authorized us to charge your payment method unless you decide to cancel the subscription before renewal.

    The initial response said that 'we can't refund you' because the charge was from the renewal. It was in the clause that if you let your plan renew, you will receive the box ordered from that renewal and your plan will no longer renew.

    We hope this helps clarify and thank you very much for your understanding.

    On December 15th 2023, I ordered two quarterly subscription boxes, and their website guaranteed delivery before Christmas. It is currently January 3rd, and not only have the two boxes I ordered not arrived, but they charged me for two more quarterly subscription boxes on January 1st. I emailed them within a matter of hours to ask them to cancel them and refund the money, but they advised that they could not refund my money, even though I was not due to receive another subscription box until March 1st, which they admitted to in the email they sent me. They also charged me over $100 for shipping, which is supposed to be free with a purchase of over $50, per their website. Finally, they advised that I could cancel my membership on their website, but I've tried several times and their website says I need to email them to cancel. My latest email to them has not been answered in over 24 hours.

    *** asked the business multiple times to cancel my account and the link they alleged does that on my account says to email them but they have yet to cancel the subscription despite my requests. I wish for them to confirm cancellation by email and not bill me for the next cycle.

    12/12/2023 Purchase date $48.97 On website says product will be shipped in 3-5 days and customer will be emailed with shipping info Product still says "Unfulfilled" on status and no email with shipping has been received Emailed company on 12/24/23 asking for refund as no product has been shipped or received 12/25/2023 Received email saying it has been queued for shipment and please be patient; stated they could refund the shipping fee $8.99 and give me $10 gift card to site). No shipping refund received and no email showing shipped. Still showing "unfulfilled" status Contacted them back on same day and stated it's still unfulfilled and to please refund my money.Received response 12/28/2023 stating their FAQs says no refunds on what I bought. Repeated offer of shipping refund and $10 gift card to buy something else from their site. No mention of them shipping my items.12/28/2023 Replied to company that I would be disputing with credit card company and reporting them to BBB.And within an hour of sending the above email, I received an email saying it had been shipped-we'll see.I also emailed requesting the shipping refund.Appears this company has to be threatened with consumer protections in order to complete their business contracts.

    Like so many others before me, my credit card was charged and they will not refund it. They have no phone number to call. After multiple emails, I finally received a response letting me know that they would be sending me the shipments I have no desire for whether I like it or not.

    I ordered a box to be shipped to my daughter. They charged me for shipping which should have been no charge. I want to suspend future shipments but cannot access that part of my account. I have reached out to them several times with no response. I am disputing the charges with my credit card company until I get my questions answered

    I havent had a subscription with this company since 2021. I woke up yesterday morning and had a charge from this company for a subscription box for $44.98. They tried to say that it autorenewed, which is laughable. How does it autorenew when I havent had an order from them in 2 years. They said they would get back to me in 2-3 business days which is unfortunate considering that it will not be pending in my account at that point anymore and the box will probably be shipped at that point. It's almost as if they do this on purpose so that they can not issue a refund. This company is scamming people it seems from the reviews that I see on here. As you can see in the documents, I have provided a screenshot of my pending payment and a screenshot showing I had a subscription in 2021 that ended in July of 2021. Then it shows a random charge from 2023 that I did not approve or give consent to.
