I have purchased a plan after having ascertained that they could "port-in" my phone number from the previous operator (line2.com), which I was positive about as they list line2.com among the ones they are capable of performing "port-in" from. But the process would never work despite all the information provided to them so far was 100% correct and, after contacting the previous operator I could PROVE to MINT staff that the problem was caused by malfunction at MINT's end and - noticeably - this is not in question as MINT itself ended up admitting I was right (evidences were too big to be hidden or misrepresented). Still, nobody would take care of addressing the problem nor my need. I spent countless hours over the phone with people who's only goal was to bounce the ball back to me, never to really help. And all of this because I called repeatedly, I never heard ONCE something like "ok, we have all the info, we are on it, we'll let you know". Nothing. So I ended up asking for full refund. Stay away.

Hello,So sorry to hear that you were having issues porting in. We require only 3 pieces of information from the other carrier to transfer the number (account#, PIN, and billing address). If all are matching with your current service provider, it should transfer without any issues. Some transfer *** take longer than normal and this usually happens with landlines and VoIP numbers. If you would like to try it again, please reach out to our support team online.Thank you.Mint Mobile

Thanks for proving EXACTLY, with this answer, the point I am making. You did not even read the review accurately. If you had, you'd known by now that I was PERFECTLY aware of what pieces of information were needed, and also you'd be aware that they were specified correctly to you. The problem was exactly in the fact that, despite I provided 100% correct information, issues AT YOUR END prevented the port-in from being performed successfully. I proved all this to a customer representative, who had no other choice than agreeing with this, given the evidences. And all of this was clearly written in the review in the first place. But, instead of reading carefully what I wrote and double-check internally, you just came out with the general instructions, which has nothing to do with the problem at hand.

Regrettably, I switched to mint mobile for a 6-month offer on 11/28/22 of service as it was a better deal. I was not able to use 1 day to call, there was no service. I Could not make any calls, on Dec 8, 2022, after 10 days I asked Mint Mobile support to help resolve my issue and I spoke with 5 agents and all of them were lying the same way. They refused to issue my refund due to the policy of more than 7 days, please never go with Mint, if so you will be scammed.

I bought a plan with the promo of buying 12 months then getting 12 months free. After 12 months, the plan stopped working. I called customer service and they had no evidence of me ever purchasing a plan whatsoever. Fortunately, I saved the email receipt from a year ago and forwarded it to them. They screenshot my email and sent it to their "escalation" ***** and I was told I would have it resolved in ***** hours (don't know what would happen if I didn't have receipt. How can a company not have a trail to their own accounts?). After 72 hours of no information, I contacted customer service again. I was told it's being handled in the "escalation" **** and will be resolved by the end of the day. It wasn't. I called back the next day and asked to speak to someone in the escalation **** since I have now gone 5 days with no service. I was told they don't have a direct line to the escalation team (?) but that it's being worked on and will be resolved by the end of the day. Again, the phone still isn't working. I would love to speak to someone on the phone who can tell me why they can't reconnect the line when I had to forward the info to them that I bought it from them in the first place. Being told several days in a row that it "will be resolved by the end of the day" and that they will "personally make sure this gets taken care of" means nothing when nothing gets done.

I wanted to port my phone out but had used just over 1 month of my plan out of 12 I signed up for . So i made sure before i do that i go mint and I did. The customer service agent told me that i can get a refund for unused funds after i port out my phone to another carrier . Based on that information i ported my phone out and when i went back to ask for refund , i was told that the customer agent might have got confused and i am not eligible for a refund . Because of that i lost more than 200 dollars .

Have been constantly calling these guys every few days for the status. At one point spoke to a manager (not sure was a manager or not) . He said I am creating a ticket that has 24 hours SLA and you will get a refund in 7 days. next day we call and there is no such thing . It has happened many time . These guys make a fool of you , keep transfering you again and again, no track of previous calls (or they probably dont liog the details that they dont like) . They dont own their mistake , just keep citing thier 7 day refund policy . A small compnay will bve a small company with weird ways . If it would have been a reputable company they would have said ok we can give you a new line for your remaning balance etc. after owning their mistake of customer service rep. telling us they will give a refund after you port. Ticket number that was created : CRT54231 . 12/3/2022 is when I was told by them that I will get a refund after porting on web chat.

Before I write my review, it is interesting to note how many responses the company has posted on here that say, "Hello,So sorry to hear that. We'll have one of our agents reach out to assist you.Thank you.Mint Mobile"It has been well documented that Mint Mobile is guilty of blatantly falsely advertising an "Unlimited" plan that does have a limit. I would never have bought into their company's several month plan if I had known that they lie in their advertising in order to trap consumers and collect their money for something that they do not actually offer. It is impossible to get justice from them as their refund policy excludes recourse, so I am stuck. The attempts that I have made to get a refund or to get my data increased to an actual unlimited amount have been futile and time consuming and frustrating. They are the most blatant scam company I have ever experienced. DO NOT USE THEM. I wonder if ************************* knows.

Hello,Apologies for the delay here. Our unlimited plan includes 35GB of high speed data and the data speed is reduced after that. This is outlined on our website under the unlimited plan description. Please let us know if you have any questions or concern.Thank you.Mint Mobile

Calling Mint Mobile sketchy is an understatement. I took advantage of their Cyber Monday deal and purchased a new ****** Pixel Pro 7 and one year of service, (they advertised 6 months free with a new phone purchase). That was on a Sunday, I received the email confirmation stating they would update me when the phone is on the way. Thursday, with no updates I reached out through their chat system. The agent, *******, sends me a ***** link and says its been completed and is on the way. I open the link and it shows the package being sent, then CANCELLED 10 mins later. ******* tried to say I need to talk to ***** but it was clearly cancelled by the sender. So ******* is feeding me lies about creating a "ticket" but, he cant send me an email about the open ticket because it would be a "breach" of my privacy? What? So then I switched to call customer service, twice, and received the same lies and treatment from more agents. They were over promising and not making any sense. And the kicker is, I have received multiple emails saying my refund is approved and will be processed once they receive my package back, the package I never received.... Needless to say they don't record any phone calls so no proof there but I screen shotted every chat message and will provide to my bank for them to dispute.

I had the worse experience with this company I recommend not using them. Never received the sim, customer service is horrible and never was able to get refunded or resolved after 10 months of tiring then they said sorry your refund time has expired, and it is all documented on chat.

Lost phone with MINT Mobile will cost you your account number, phone number and your remaining balance of your account. All of which is NOT in the terms and conditions. **************** simply states that this is their policy, which is a crock, as again, it does not say this anywhere in the terms and conditions. Shame on you *************************, with the company you just purchased. So if you have a one year plan, and after 2 months your phone gets stolen or lost, then I have to get a new phone number, account number, and most of all, I loose 10 months of service that I already paid for? This is simply not acceptable. I am curious about how this can be. Never heard of anything like this in my life time.
