1 starMint Mobile might be cheaper than other phone plans, but it is not worth it. The eSIM activation link only works one time. If something happens (i.e. your Wi-Fi cuts out in the middle of activation, or you accidentally close the tab), you will not be able to activate the eSIM using this method. This happened to me, so I was on the phone with multiple people for an entire afternoon to find an alternate way to activate my eSIM and connect my two accounts into one family account. They helped me use a manual activation method for my eSIM, but after this, connecting my two accounts into one family account required usage of the Mint Mobile app, and this app refused to work for me. It wouldnt let me create an account, so I had to create one through the website instead. But even after doing this, the app wouldnt let me log into my account. Ive never had any issues with SIM activation or family accounts with any previous phone carriers Ive used. This process has always taken just a few minutes, but at Mint, it took an entire afternoon, and the experience was beyond stressful for me. The customer service was incredibly incompetent, and at times, rude. At one point, the customer service rep threatened to hang up on me. They need to fix their technical issues and improve their customer service.Mint Mobile

1 star**************** is trash. They aren't empowered to do anything, and Mint Mobile has made solid efforts to ensure that there is no way to contact anyone other then their useless chat/phone customer service reps. **** that means is that you can talk to their ** reps about your issues, but if their ** reps ARE the issue, then too bad. I spent over an hour on their chat function, trying to get Transfer PINs for three numbers I pay for, and after over an hour, I was unable to get the ** rep to give me anything at all. **** they did do, was to offer me all kinds of deals and discounts, and try to negotiate deals with me on everything I did not ask for. I have a Copy/Paste of the chat, but what the chat log doesn't show is how much time is spent between responses. The ** reps will copy/paste some generic question like "Can I have your email address?" Then you give it to them (which takes about 5 seconds), then you wait a full two or three minutes for them to say "thank you for that". Then you wait another 2-3 minutes for them to ask the next question. And on and on and on. And when they do respond, half of their responses are entirely useless. "I need a tranfer PIN to port out".(3 minutes later)"I understand that you are look for an account number and Tranfer PIN. Is that correct?""yes"(3 minutes later)"Thank you for that! I will be happy to get that for you!""Thank you"(3 minutes later)"To verify, it is a Transfer PIN you are looking for, right?"I am convinced they do this knowing that if they keep you on the hook long enough, you will just go away. No one has the amount of time required to stay on a chat window with these people, and it's consistent enough that the management must know about it. It's entirely unacceptable, particularly since they provide no remedy. I am going to tell every single person I know to avoid Mint Mobile.Mint Mobile

1 starCalled two days straight to try and get my account/port out number and was left on hold for over an hour both days. After reading the other comments in here, it seems they purposely keep from giving your account and port out numbers in hopes you'll just keep their service. Cant get my account and port out numbers from this company in order to transfer my old number.Mint Mobile

1 starAt the end of June I tried to switch to Mint Mobile from T-mobile. So,bear in mind, I have a degree in Computer Science, and the mobile app says it easy and the promise that. So, 1 of the details says to enter your zip code. So,I do so as I own my house and have been here **************************************************************************** had that zip code on it. Very odd. So, I contacted a live person there. After being on hold for 17 minutes., she did some process and rudely hung up on me. Being frustrated with the whole process I canceled the order went back to my old process and now have to wait for my money to be returned. I will not tolerate the rudeness of people in customer service, after all they are to service the customerMint Mobile

1 starI tried to request the refund from canceling the unlimited 12 months plan from the Mint mobile. Due the mistake of their agent, I only got a part of my refund ($181.94). Also, because of the mistake of the agent, the other part of the refund ($141.14+$60 credit) was unable to approve due to the timeframe issue when I asked for the remaining refund. The reason for missing the timeframe is that I was told that the refund process usually took 7-8 days, so I just waited for 7 days to make sure it is processed. When I found the refund amount is incorrect, and unfortunately, it was too late as they argued that the request was out of timeframe. I was told that they don't give the refund for the credit, which is the policy they said. Okay, I accept this explanation, but they need to give me the payment that I made ($141.14). I spent several hours to contact the agents online for several times, but I was told that they can not do anything for me. So this is totally unfair to a customer: I need to pay for the mistake from the mint company side. ?? So very poor experience with the mint mobile.Review fromJennifer P

1 starI purchased the eSIM setup for Mint while standing in Target. I could not get the eSIM to download correctly. When I contacted customer service they told me I wasn't a ****************** customer that I was a target customer and they couldn't help me. When I contacted Target they said it wasa Mint Mobile purchase and they would not help me. Either way I got no service and no refunds.Mint Mobile

1 starI agree with ******************** They don't deserve a star period. Switched to Mint Mobile and immediately realized there was no service in commercial buildings. Called support "problems in your area", each time I called or chatted it was the first thing said after checking my address. I called numerous times and was told we will fix it, hold on. Sometimes they were supposed to call back and didn't. They always assured my problem was solved. I was at a large hospital receiving an iron infusion and decided to chat on public wifi to see if it could be resolved. After that call I wasn't able to use public WiFi again. I had a severe reaction to the infusion and was transported to another hospital. While in the ambulance I called my daughter because, outside of the building I had service, to make her aware she would have to come to second hospital ER after I was observed for 3 hours and released. At second hospital I still could not use Mint or hospital ************* Hospital found me a phone to use. Unfortunately, the call showed up as area code and 000-____. People don't answer numbers they don't recognize or it is blocked by spam. Called several family and friends with no success. Started redialing repeatedly and some one got tired of it ringing and picked up. I really thought I would have to Uber to the other hospital to pick up my car parked in the 1st hospitals garage. That was the last straw. Be aware there is no Mint Mobile service in commercial buildings unless you can get near an outside window, if there is one near.Mint Mobile

1 starThe customer service is awful. I tried contacting Mint last night about porting my number out, meaning I need my account number and PIN. I was put on hold for over an hour. through my fiance's phone. I tried the Fox chat that same night. I was put off to another department for another hour. I gave up for the night since it was 10 p.m. my local time. This morning, I used the Fox chat again. After over two hours, I arranged for Mint to contact another phone number at 7 p.m. ET. to get the account and PIN information. Instead, they called the number at noon, when that number wasn't available for taking calls (fiance at work). I called at 7 p.m. that night and was transferred to other departments three times over an hour, and nothing has been resolved. This is by far the most unhelpful customer service I have ever experienced. I'm unable to call or text on my own phone now. I wish I could give zero stars on here.Mint Mobile
