1 starI referred my friend via 'share by email' link from my account to get referral credit. It sent an email to my friend, containing a link which my friend used to purchase 5GB plan. 2 weeks later Mint Mobile neither credited my account not my friend's. Upon calling repeatedly they kept on saying that the code used by my friend does not match with the one on my account. The code that they're referring to shows up on 'share by social' option in my account. I retried 'share by email' option multiple times and it generated a different code every single time, not matching with 'share by social' code. I explained same thing over email provided my their so-called 'back office' agent with all the requested screenshots as well as to multiple customer care agents via chat and call, but they didn't bother to understand. If their policy is just to accept the code that is on the 'share by social' link, then their 'share by email' button should generate same code not a different one every single time. Their system seems to be buggy.Giving single star because they don't want to accept that their system is buggy or they didn't bother to revalidate from their end.Mint Mobile

1 starI had a terrible experience with customer service. They all speak very kindly and made promises for a refund. I was on the phone 45 minutes. Then I later received an email saying something like: "on further review we can't give you a refund... have a nice day!" I called again - 34 minutes more - and another kind rep told me she would take care of it and I wouln't have to call again. She gave me a refund ticket number. A few minutes after hanging up, I received another email - not even a call - "stating they tried to process the refund but it didn't go through. best regards!" So now I'm calling yet AGAIN....with another kind person, placing me on multiple holds trying to get the "information" she needs to help **** think Mint Mobile must be trying to put people off so much they just get tired of calling, and then they don't have to deal with us anymore.Mint Mobile

1 starMy wife and I pre-paid for 3 months of ************ for our two phones. However, after we received our SIM cards and tried the service, we were dismayed to discover that our calls would break up, end unexpectedly, or wouldn't even go through. Mint had neglected to tell us that we were outside their service area. Of course, we requested a refund. The agent on our chat said we would be refunded, and I kept a copy of that chat. However, Mint only repaid us for one of our two phones. We tried to get repaid for the second phone through three lengthy online chats and an attempted email exchange, but **** wasn't responsive. They refused to pay what they promised and what they obviously owed.It makes no sense to pay for service that doesn't serve us, and a decent business would be quick to issue a refund.Note also that it's very difficult to get customer service from Mint. To be able to chat with a real person requires working your way through a maze of automated stuff. And even with a live agent things move slowly as there are a long pauses when it's their turn to respond.We would definitely advise against doing business with this company.Mint Mobile

1 starI made the terrible mistake of deciding to switch to mint mobile. I ordered 2 sim cards (for my husband and myself). Got them quickly, that was the ONLY positive thing I have to say. Day 1-I spent 9 hours on the phone between ******* and Mint trying to switch my husband's account, even bought him a brand new phone, bad SIM apparently. He had no call or text access for 4 days. Finally he was switched. I put the 2nd SIM card in my phone, system says not valid. **************** nightmare begins. I have talked to no less than 10 people. I have had 2 different "tickets" issued. It has been 7 days, my phone number was transferred and I have NO replacement SIM card, no call or text access. Your customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. Agents hang up on me, refuse to let me speak with a supervisor, tell me to be patient and on and on. They tell me to access my account, which I can't set up, because I have NO access. I don't know how to get my phone number back so I can go to another carrier.Mint Mobile

1 starFirst of all, I must just say that Mint mobile customer reps **** all behave like scammers. This company is so unethical. I had a free trial with them until October 2023, then I lost my phone with their sim card. I never thought of renewing with them bc with unlimited data, the date finished so fast and I lost some calls, messages etc, a lot of network issues. However, November 1, 2023, I tried to renew plan, only to reactivate my phone # and get easy data transfer from lost sim card, and because of some app authentication. So I called mint mobile and explained the whole situation, they quickly prompted me to pay for a new contract. The way they did it, I had the impression of being in a scam call. I was desperate to get the information that I need from that sim card that I gave them my debit card info so I processed payment. What's funny here is that 1. they never mentioned that they deactivated the stolen sim card. 2. They never sent me a new sim card before taking my money, everything was done in a rush. So this means that whoever stole my phone could be using it, and even cause damage in my name, including stealing from me. They are not supposed to do that. After taking money for 3-month plan, the customer rep **** now transfers my call to a different person, who tell me that I have to order a new sim card online for additional cost, before I start using the number. I ask her if the old sim card is active, and she said yes! Really? Anyways I just had a second thought and bad feeling about this company immediately and I asked her to cancel everything and refund my money. Not only I had HUGE network issues, dropped calls, lost messages etc, but also, they never told me that they were going out business in December. So I quickly understand why they trying to steal as much as they can. "Steal" yes! Because they told me that they can't refund my money. Until today, I called and emailed them many times over the past weeks. SCAMMERS! Return my hard earned money!Mint Mobile

1 starMy friend referred me to Mint and I ordered two lines. They won't give my friend or me credit for the referral because they say I didn't click on the right link I can prove I did by matching screen shots of the referral email to my received orders. I've spent over 34 hours on the phone and in chat with Mint Mobile and I've sent three letters to their corporate headquarters. **************** says I'll get the credit. All I have to do is wait 24 hours. After 24 hours I call again. They said I won't get the credit. I call again and they said I will get the credit. But then I don't get the credit. I go round and round with them and after 34 hours, this is really nuts. There is no doubt I clicked on referral email within hours of receiving it. Their phone service is good. Their prices are good. But their customer service is terrible beyond belief. My friend is owed $90 credit and I am owed $30 credit. I talked to a supervisor today who offered me $10 to go away. $10 after 34 hours of insisting on getting what I was promised? This is incredible.Mint Mobile

1 starVery dishonest advertising, where is the customer protection when you need them? ********************** uses introductory 3 months of low price services to get your hook on much higher renewal fees. Technical support is a joke, I can't get my VM account to work after 2 weeks. Always said they will look into it call you back but never do...Mint Mobile

1 starSwapped to mint mobile as the advertising was promising. Do not judge a book by it's cover. Nothing but a total pain. After 5 hours, that's right, 5 HOURS, on the phone with Mint and Tracfone I finally gave up and asked for a refund. I can only imagine how long and how many phone calls there will be before that happens. If it happens...Mint Mobile

1 starPaid for a year in advance ultimate unlimited plan took 6 months for them to activate a phone their website told me was compatible then they refused to credit me for the 6 months I paid for but had no service. 2 starsI signed my family up for mint mobile and it was a disaster. My SIM card didnt work, my service kept cutting out. I had to talk to 5 different people and explain the situation over and over again even though I had a ticket number. They finally agreed to send me a new SIM card but wanted to charge me $10 even though it was their issue. I asked if it could be expedited but was told that was impossible. They said it would take 3 business days.we are going on 6 business days and I have still not received it. I regret ever moving to this service. They are cheap b/c they have horrible customer service.Mint Mobile
