    Disappointing Customer Experience with ****************** Rating: 1/5 stars I recently had a frustrating experience with Mint Mobile that has left me dissatisfied with their customer service and refund policies. As a customer who pre-pays for three months at a time, I expected a reasonable level of flexibility, especially when it came to canceling one line due to a move.My dissatisfaction began when I called Mint Mobile to cancel one line because I was moving and had found a tempting offer from Spectrum, which included one year of free cell service with the purchase of internet. I requested a refund for the unused portion of the prepaid three-month plan, as I still had 75 days left on it.To my disappointment, Mint Mobile flat-out refused to provide any refund, despite my belief that a prorated refund for the remaining time would be a fair and simple solution. I explained my situation, expressing my willingness to continue business with them on at least one line if they could accommodate this straightforward request. However, their inflexible and seemingly nonsensical refund policy led me to cancel both lines.The lack of understanding and unwillingness to work with customers on reasonable requests is a major drawback for Mint Mobile. A more customer-centric approach, such as providing prorated refunds for unused services, could have retained my business and left me with a more positive impression of the company.In conclusion, while Mint Mobile may offer competitive pricing and plans, their rigid refund policy and lack of flexibility in accommodating customer needs make it challenging to recommend them. It's disappointing when a company's policies hinder its potential for customer satisfaction and retention.

    Porting OUT from Mint Mobile is a NIGHTMARE. Agents from Mint Mobile *************** insist that they DO NOT have any access to pending port-in requests from other carriers. **** is trying to port in my current number and **** never receives any response from MINT. This is ongoing for 8+ days now... MINT port **** just simply repeats to us the acct number and transfer PIN, and insists there is nothing more they can do to help resolve this issue (my number being stuck in their system, and not being confirmed for port-out back to my carrier). Even after 4-way conference calls w/ ATT, MINT, T-Mobile, and me, MINT is not able to resolve this issue. Utterly frustrating for the customer - being stuck without a fully functional phone number (no incoming calls and no short-code texts) for over a week!! MINT MOBILE has proven to be a nightmare experience on another level. They suspended my active number "by mistake" without notification, and they make it IMPOSSIBLE to transfer my phone number out of MINT system. And ALL their agents tell me they cannot resolve the issue - just transfer and escalate in a vicious circle. And NO RESOLUTION to date.

    Mint mobile was a wonderful service prior to Mr. ************************* selling the company to T mobile. Since then the service significantly went down hill. Areas before that I had full service consistently in like my house or at work I barely had service after the sale of the company in the same exact areas! I had already prepaid for the year on a plan for unlimited talk text and data at $15 a month and was locked in. The end of my prepaid period came and I selected the 3 month unlimited talk text and data plan despite have dropped calls and overall bad service it was still unlimited and super cheap. To my surprise I got a text from mint mobile stating that Id used 80% of my data for the month already within the first week of the month! Clearly Id been duped and I wasnt receiving unlimited text talk and data after all. Not only that they wouldnt refund me once Id expressed my concerns so as a result Ive switched to visible by ******* and so far so good! There really should b a class action lawsuit against mint mobile for deception of the highest order. Despicable really. I cant help but wonder if this is all a part of a much larger plan for t mobile to rid themselves of the parasitic prodigy of a phone carrier that mint mobile was on them. Step 1 buy the company. Step 2 completely ***** its untarnished reputation.

    I live in *******, but got a ********* number. Right there on the phone I disputed it and they refused to change it. I got to a manager, they told me that for my area this is the number that they can give me. I asked for a refund and I was assured that I will get it. I did not! $108 down the drain. Thank God, I paid with PayPal, And PayPal refunded the money immediately. I believe this company, Is a company of crooks. Be careful.

    For MINT MOBILE: I just spent 3 days trying to renew my phone and my daughter's. Both set to auto, but I switched credit cards and wanted to do it early. Mine took 30 seconds My daughter's kept saying error after error.**** says Try another card, I do, it fails. Mint says they will do it. "Ok your all set it went thru" get a text from mint soon as I hang up saying it failed. Mint says call your financial institution. I do. They show the one successful attempt (for my line) and have 0 attempts from mint for anything else. I call back and mint does the same speal. I call the bank again, still nothing from my bank stopping the charge. But mint says it's being flagged as fraud. My bank says if it is its on their end, not ours. I call mint again, I state all of this in the beginning. And two hours later we end at the same condition. They blame my card. I asked for a supervisor 4 times and was never allowed to speak with one. I was given a number to call to resolve the issue. The same generic help line I was just on. But now when I call they pretend they can't hear me and hang up. Iv been a customer for 6 years and my daughter for ***** now I'm leaving. Worst customer service experience I have ever had. And I had **** once.

    I phoned this morning to tell them I do not approve of their new International roaming plan. I was transferred to manager **** who said there is nothing she can do about it. I asked for a phone number or email address to make a complaint and she said she could not give me one. I then tried via chat and was speaking with ******* who disconnected me when I said you cannot just change an agreement midstream. If they would like to change a plan after my FULL PAID year is up they can do so then. Since I was disconnected I tried again and was finally connected to someone named Princess who said she would pass to upper management. I asked her to email me a copy of our dialog and she said she would do within the hour. 3 hours later I tried one more time and was disconnected by ***** when asked to forward my previous dialog with Princess.You cannot just change a portion of an agreement because you feel like it when a person has paid for a full year upfront.

    Terrible customer service. Was lied to multiple times. Mint Mobile was fine for 14 months until I broke my phone. I spent several hours with Chat trying to figure out what was wrong, with the recommendation to buy a ******* Galaxy S20+. Was told that it was eSIM compatable. Waited 5 DAYS for the new phone . Come to find out it was not eSIM compatable. My old *** did not work in the new phone, and the new SIM card that came with the new phone would not connect to my 12 month prepaid account. Got a replacement SIM card 2 days later; this is after 20+ hours with Mint Mobile chat and agents. The replacement SIM does not work either. They say they will refund $373.43 that I spent on this phone, but not the 10 months remaining on my prepaid service. I've been lied to by this company at least 3 times from the ************* disconnected multiply times when they couldn't help me. I wish I never tried this company. I now am without a phone for 2 weeks, and will have to find another phone and carrier.

    To my honest opinion, this company is a scam. They are ok with charging a customer even though you are not using their service. This is my experience with them. I used their trial sim card before (I purchased 3 month on sale for $90, unlimited calls and internet). With this plan, I encountered many issues with connection and network, even though they said "unlimited". I realized that in *****, they don't have coverage on some areas and my message were delayed, my phone calls were getting forwarded to voicemail, and the wifi connection was too slow and even non-existent in some areas, there was no coverage. When this plan ended, I misplaced my phone somewhere on a trip and I lost the sim card. I only called mint mobile 1 month after because I needed to recover some information from my lost phone, that i could only access if i renewed the plan, and get the same phone number. I was so hesitant about renewing that plan due to the previous issues that I mentioned earlier. I just went ahead and called them and I prepaid another 3-month plan, thinking that maybe there was something wrong with the first sim card. After the payment of about $82 for their cheapest 3-montu plan, they told me that I have to pay additional money for them to ship the sim card. Because I so much hated the my previous experience with their service, I immediately had a second thought and I asked them right. I realized it would a waste of money anyway to pay for a defective product, it wasn't worth renewing q plan just to get access to information from the sim card honestly. To my opinion the service was useless to me, and it wasn't even worth it. I asked them to cancel within the same hour (I did not have their sim card, so i never used a minute in that plan). To my surprise, Mint mobile representative told me that even though I never used it or never going to use it, they can't refund my money. I escalated the claim, but since then, they have been just ignoring me.

    Last September I paid Mint Mobile $45.00 for 3 months of 5g, unlimited data plus a new *** card for $10.00. After activating my account and receiving a email from customer service saying I was "good to go" when in fact my *** card was showing disabled. My prior carrier turn off their service, after I requested a transfer pin and I was stranded with no cell service.Being a OTR driver, a working cell phone is a important tool in trucking. Thinking that I may have damaged the *** card when setting up my service, I ordered a new *** card. Went to work, dealt with in Inconvenience, returned home a week later, installed new *** card and waited 50 hours before turning on my phone. NO SERVICE *** CARD is disabled!Of course I was back on the road so there wasn't anything I could do about It.Fed up dealing with the issue, went back to my prior carrier, called Mint to see If I could get my $55.00 back. NOPE! Have in cancel within 7 days!And of course lost my phone number, I've had since my very first cell phone, because it's been two weeks and they gave it away. A royal pain in my a** contacting my contacts, credit cards, utilities, etc.Thanks *************************!!

    Have been stranded overseas by Mint Mobile for months. Multiple tickets. Zero help. Horrible service. As soon as I get back to ********** I am going to try to get the money back I spent so I could use my phone internationally what a joke and then find another provider who actually cares about the customer.They promised everything, including they would contact me on my Italian number as well as by email.NEVER heard from them.Terrible service.
