1 starPaid for a year in advance ultimate unlimited plan took 6 months for them to activate a phone their website told me was compatible then they refused to credit me for the 6 months I paid for but had no service. Worst customer service on the planet! Resist the cutesy commercials and find a real company or suffer the consequencesMint Mobile

2 starsI signed my family up for mint mobile and it was a disaster. My SIM card didnt work, my service kept cutting out. I had to talk to 5 different people and explain the situation over and over again even though I had a ticket number. They finally agreed to send me a new SIM card but wanted to charge me $10 even though it was their issue. I asked if it could be expedited but was told that was impossible. They said it would take 3 business days.we are going on 6 business days and I have still not received it. I regret ever moving to this service. They are cheap b/c they have horrible customer service.Mint Mobile

1 starI ordered two sim cards. The order was canceled and I wasn't notified. Customer support started a reorder. I told them i needed overnight. I was ignored. I asked for corporate email and was connected with a supervisor.The supervisor helped me switch to two eSim cards so I could get connected right away.I was sent emails telling me my number was switched successfully. My wife got the same emails. She also received an email with a ** code for her eSIM. I did not.I tried to sign into the Mobile app but my phone cannot send or receive texts or calls because I don't have a sim card now. So, I can't get the confirmation texts for my sign in.I have called customer multiple times and keep getting told that my eSim is activated and my phone should be good to go after a reset. But, I never got a ** code to connect my phone to the network.Finally, I was told that I have to wait for up to 24 hours to get my ** code because my request for my eSIM was still being processed. But my eSIM was already activated. My number was activated. I have an account, but I never got my ** code to connect my phone. My wife got hers immediately and connected her eSIM.I have been told different stories by your staff each time I've called customer support. I've repeatedly requested to just be sent a ** code and I keep getting told it's already activated. Then, I'm told it's still processing and I have to wait. (That was my last call with customer support.)I'm seriously rethinking my membership with Mint. Bad experiences immediately. Ive wasted my entire day dealing with this, while at work!I just want the ** code for my eSIM. Will you PLEASE send me an email with the code so I can connect my phone?! Or, at the very least just tell me what is going on? Just a real life straight answer about my ** code. That's all I need. But, you know, I'd really really really like to just get the ** code sent to me so I CAN CONNECT MY PHONE!Regards,******Mint Mobile

1 starI bought a new phone with a promotion for a 12 month unlimited plan. It did not clarify it wasn't for existing customers. After talking with customer service they said there is nothing they can do to refund for the plan and I'll have to return both phone and plan. The refused to work with me to refund for the plan and just keep the phone saying their systems wouldn't allow it. They acknowledged that it wasn't clear who the promotions deal was for but said they can't do anything about it.Mint Mobile

2 starsThis is the start of my 2nd year with Mint mobile. The website doesn't process the payment until it clears your bank, soooo because it was still saying on their site that the payment did not go thru I PAID 3 times and all 3 are now being processed with my bank. **************** says I have to call my bank to cancel the additional payments. There is also also a continus delay on the voicemails, I get them late, sometimes a day late sometimes a couple hours, this is a big problem with their service. I do not recommend.Mint Mobile

1 starSo I recently purchased a 3 month unlimited plan with Mint Mobile which cost me about $99.98 with taxes. A few days after the purchase, I also bought a new phone. I didnt think switching the phone service over to my new phone would be a big deal but it was. Somehow during the process I lost access to my service account with **********************. Meaning I couldnt utilize the service on my new phone or my old phone. I contacted customer service through chat and phone and no one could help me get back in, so I purchased another phone service from a different company. Naturally, I reached back out to mint mobile to receive a refund seeing as it had only been a few days after my purchase which meant I was *********** a full refund as it was less than seven days after I made the purchase. On a call I was assured by a customer service agent that I would get a refund, apparently that customer service agent lied to me because I never received the refund. I called back five days later and was again promised a refund that never arrived into my bank account so it seems as though I have lost out on my $100 as well as a phone service that I was never able to access again after the initial 3 to 4 days. I gave up with mint mobile and decided to file a claim with my bank which was denied after they contacted mint mobile. I was not expecting my claim to be denied as I kind of assumed that the mint mobile refund process was just slow, but now it seems as though they never intended to refund my money, even though thats what I was promised, twice. I would beware if wanting to purchase a phone service from this company as it seems that their customer service associates arent as helpful as they claim to be. Also, you could possibly end up paying for a service that you will not receive.Mint Mobile

1 starI switched to Mint Mobile because I had heard good things about them. I didn't realize what a huge mistake I'd made until I left the house. Then my internet service stopped working. I had been using wifi and wasn't getting an internet connection, but still had phone service. I called them and was told to make some network changes which I did, but that didn't fix the problem. I got worried because I had an e-ticket for a show that evening and called again. I was then told that the reason my internet wasn't working was I was out of data. I had just switched five days before, I told them, how could I have used 5 Gb of data. The tech support guy said I must have been watching a lot of movies on my phone--which I have never done--or my kids were playing a lot of video games on it--I don't have kids. He wasn't me to pay additional funds to increase my data allocation. I didn't seem right so I didn't. Instead, I checked my data usage. I had used 1% of my data. So I called again. I was assured they would have a resolution before my 7PM show and they would call me at 6:30. They didn't and I couldn't access my $160 e-ticket. It took a dozen more calls before the resolved the problem on their end, including replacing the *** card. In the meantime, I was told twice that my phone was locked--it wasn't--and that I should buy a new phone from them because mine was the problem. It was a horrible, costly experience.Mint Mobile

1 starI signed up for the promotional deal that was active during October of 2023. I signed 4 lines over to use the unlimited $15/month plan and under Mints own FAQ there is a drop down item you can click and it says If I purchased a 3-month plan at an introductory price. What will the cost of my plan be when I renew?After you have tried our service and know what data plan is right for you, then you can choose the length of plan depending on how clever you want to get; 3, 6 or 12 months.Mint Tip: You can lock in our introductory 3-month pricing by renewing for 12 months.Log into your account at mintmobile.com/login anytime to view our available plans and pricing.So a logical person would take this to mean your $15 unlimited plan is renewable and able to be maintained at the price of $15 for unlimited for another 12 months after the initial 3 months.This Mint Tip is my complaint! They are dishonest and falsely advertise! Nowhere on this page does it say that by lock in our introductory 3-month pricing by renewing for 12-months they actually mean downgrade from unlimited to 5gb to maintain the $15/month plan!I already called MINTech and complained and they gave me a bunch of excuses and read from their usual scripts about how they didnt misrepresent a deal.
