    Mint Mobile: Where "Compatible" Means "Oops, Your Fault"I bought a 3-month Mint Mobile SIM card from Best Buy after Mints own website confirmedby checking my exact IMEI numberthat my phone was compatible. I activated it, got no data, and they gave me a California phone number even though I live in ******** I contacted support. Enter Jamesthe Mint *** who deserves an honorary degree in gaslighting. Instead of helping, ***** tells me I shouldve checked more things before purchasing. You mean more than using the tool on your own website that told me it WOULD work? Thats like Deadpool blaming the audience because his movie suckedif Deadpool were boring, unhelpful, and completely humorless.Mint Mobile sold me a product that doesnt work, blames me for trusting their compatibility check, and refuses to offer a solution. No fix. No refund. No accountability. Just finger-pointing from ***** and a ****** in how not to run a business.Avoid this dumpster fire unless you enjoy wasting money and being told the explosion is your fault.

    Im sorry that so many have had a bad experience, but I have been with Mint Mobile since about two years before **** ******** became the owner and inescapable spokesperson. Im not his biggest fan - dont care who owns it I guess - as long as the service stays the same. I transferred my number and service over way before him and have had a great and very easy experience for years. Ive recommended Mint to friends and family since and some have them have switched over too with the same results. Maybe were anomalies, but I still 100% recommend this cell service. No issues ever so far for at least five years. A+ for us.

    I bought a Mint mobile for three months and the Internet and service were relly bad. I almost no where had an Internet and service at all. I am really dissapointed with this operator and no would reccomend it at all.

    **** refused to honor its referral promotion after confirming eligibility. Support repeatedly promised resolution but failed to follow through. Even my existing credits were lost due to their mishandling of an accidental renewal.

    worst customer service error. one person is saying another thing and other person is sending different email. not coordinated with each other. Never recommended.

    Mint checked said service in my area was good, I live in town and have no reason to not have good reception. 1st week the phone service was going good. 2nd week my service started to be sporadic. When I was talking to someone you could hear every other word. I called they said I only had 2wks to cancel the service. I've had 2 different sim cards replaced. I even talked on both phones with their IT **** and they heard my personal phone having bad reception and still wouldnt refund my money. The service has never been fixed and they will not refund my money since I paid for the entire year for the discount. I've been using my work phone as my back up. I have not been able to been able to use my Mjnt Mobile service because the service is terrible and frustrating to not have good service and have sporadic communication while talking on the phone. Price is amazing but I'm very disappointed how I'm trapped and they won't refund my money and will waist money by switching to another carrier. I will be switching when my year is over service is not reliable.

    Don't BOTHER to Refer a Friend and try to get the discount because they WILL NOT honor it. I actually completed the entire process myself for my other cell phone number and have called three times to this company to get the credit and keep getting the run around of them saying that I did not properly use the link. If clicking on the prompts and following the plan selection is not the proper link, then maybe this is just a SCAM to see if customers will ever call to get the CREDIT when it is not applied.

    Mint Mobile, and their colleague **** ******** is not on par with what the company actually offers its customers. Customers are going to experience not receiving incoming calls on regular. The company's sales representatives are focused to tell you that there is a recent change by removing a throttle down of their data and the service is completely unlimited. The company's website description is incorrect and will be updated shortly. THIS IS NOT TRUE, IT IS A MISLEADING SALES TACTIC TO SELL YOU SHORT.Six of their customer service representatives claim that the mobile carrier, Mint, offers complete unlimited data coverage without throttling data after any certain point. And one in-particular explained there was a throttle down after 1.5 TB of data usage. ****** **** up when I listed a complaint to the *** and ****** told me as of 3/15/25 there is no throttle down of data usage. Either way, a escalation department representative said, yes in fact they are throttling down data after 35GB use.

    Zero stars but had to choose a star. I keep getting the run around with customer service as well as a supervisor who keeps reading me verbatim their rules and regulations when I requested a refund for over 6 months of my money that was paid upfront to get their $15.00/month plan and yet wanting to leave for a much better deal (12 months free for moving to Xfinity Mobile) only to be told NO we cannot refund your money per our rules. I asked for an exception and am still being denied. The latest customer service *** put me on hold, came back and hung up on me. I called back and was hung up on again!!
