    Mint Mobile: Where "Compatible" Means "Oops, Your Fault"I bought a 3-month Mint Mobile SIM card from Best Buy after Mints own website confirmedby checking my exact IMEI numberthat my phone was compatible. I activated it, got no data, and they gave me a California phone number even though I live in ******** I contacted support. Enter Jamesthe Mint *** who deserves an honorary degree in gaslighting. Instead of helping, ***** tells me I shouldve checked more things before purchasing. You mean more than using the tool on your own website that told me it WOULD work? Thats like Deadpool blaming the audience because his movie suckedif Deadpool were boring, unhelpful, and completely humorless.Mint Mobile sold me a product that doesnt work, blames me for trusting their compatibility check, and refuses to offer a solution. No fix. No refund. No accountability. Just finger-pointing from ***** and a ****** in how not to run a business.Avoid this dumpster fire unless you enjoy wasting money and being told the explosion is your fault.

    Im sorry that so many have had a bad experience, but I have been with Mint Mobile since about two years before **** ******** became the owner and inescapable spokesperson. Im not his biggest fan - dont care who owns it I guess - as long as the service stays the same. I transferred my number and service over way before him and have had a great and very easy experience for years. Ive recommended Mint to friends and family since and some have them have switched over too with the same results. Maybe were anomalies, but I still 100% recommend this cell service. No issues ever so far for at least five years. A+ for us.

    Unbelievably bad customer service!!! I have my email (and many other things now) hacked on July 4th. I contacted Mint to change my phone # AND my email same day. They changed my ph# BUT NOT THE ***** (yes, the one that was hacked to begin with). Yesterday, my service switched to the hacker, so now the hacker will be receiving ALL 2 party verifications to their phone for whatever BS they want to sign me up for. I've had MINT for 4 years, and even though I still have the same phone, have answered everything about my account verifying I AM ME I've had to call 5 times, each time getting a "ticket" to work on my issue (Change the email so I can get my phone # back) Each time I have to wait for them to supposedly call me back at the Straight Talk phone I had to buy just to be able to communicate with them, but instead of calling me, or contacting my NEW email, they use my HACKED ***** and ask the HACKER!!! No surprise that the problem is NEVER fixed! Do their IT people know how hacking works? I don't think so. I appears that getting access to your account is easy, but getting your account back is impossible. So even though the service is great, the way their system works for contact and definitely the way their IT resolution staff handles issues, I wouldn't take the risk if I were you.

    I bought a Mint mobile for three months and the Internet and service were relly bad. I almost no where had an Internet and service at all. I am really dissapointed with this operator and no would reccomend it at all.

    Genuinely the worst customer service I have ever seen. The company is blatantly committing a bait and switch scam with regards to android compatibility. They will lie, deceive, any scummy tactic you can think of to get you to go the h*** away. They actively sell phones online that they call "partially compatible" which means that it will work for a little while then just outright refuse to connect to either mobile data, or cellular network. In my case they claim this to be because the ******* Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, is not compatible with a ***** MHZ band of network traffic, which is complete BS. The company refuses to issue a refund or actually assist in trying to fix the issue. The phone worked great at first, for a month or two, then this issue was out of no where. If I was rich, I would purchase the company and fire every single customer service *** at the company. I was hung up on more than 15 times, refused to let me speak with a manager, they insisted it was impossible to talk to anyone besides a supervisor, which isnt actually a supervisor, its whoever is sitting next to the agent you initially get on the phone with, I know because you can hear them.     Absolutely worst customer service especially when their is a serious problem such as unauthorized charges, verification of ownership of account and if you lose a purchased phone you are ****** have documentation from purchasing to 6 months later of emails, credit card statements and affirm account proving I am the owner of said phone number account but when I lost phone and reported it to mint mobile customer service they did nothing but charged my credit card several months later $129.50 and I received an email that the phone number was on auto renew in which I never provided the credit card details for billing let alone proof that I was not auto renew payments. My password to the app with account phone number unable access. Supervisor never returned call after I was told by *** that someone would contact me I wasted 1.5 hours trying to get them to fix problem with no success I finally had to file a claim through my credit card companyCONSUMER BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY

    **** refused to honor its referral promotion after confirming eligibility. Support repeatedly promised resolution but failed to follow through. Even my existing credits were lost due to their mishandling of an accidental renewal.

    I have service with mint mobile. When I first started with their company I was getting four bars now only two and spoty and can't use maps. When I try to sign into my account it says incorrect password which doesn't make sense since it's stored in computer memory from the last time I signed in. Then I change the password and it still won't let me sign in. Paid for a year what a mistake.

    Mint checked said service in my area was good, I live in town and have no reason to not have good reception. 1st week the phone service was going good. 2nd week my service started to be sporadic. When I was talking to someone you could hear every other word. I called they said I only had 2wks to cancel the service. I've had 2 different sim cards replaced. I even talked on both phones with their IT **** and they heard my personal phone having bad reception and still wouldnt refund my money. The service has never been fixed and they will not refund my money since I paid for the entire year for the discount. I've been using my work phone as my back up. I have not been able to been able to use my Mjnt Mobile service because the service is terrible and frustrating to not have good service and have sporadic communication while talking on the phone. Price is amazing but I'm very disappointed how I'm trapped and they won't refund my money and will waist money by switching to another carrier. I will be switching when my year is over service is not reliable.
