1 starMint Mobile, and their colleague **** ******** is not on par with what the company actually offers its customers. Customers are going to experience not receiving incoming calls on regular. The company's sales representatives are focused to tell you that there is a recent change by removing a throttle down of their data and the service is completely unlimited. The company's website description is incorrect and will be updated shortly. THIS IS NOT TRUE, IT IS A MISLEADING SALES TACTIC TO SELL YOU SHORT.Six of their customer service representatives claim that the mobile carrier, Mint, offers complete unlimited data coverage without throttling data after any certain point. And one in-particular explained there was a throttle down after 1.5 TB of data usage. ****** **** up when I listed a complaint to the *** and ****** told me as of 3/15/25 there is no throttle down of data usage. Either way, a escalation department representative said, yes in fact they are throttling down data after 35GB use.Mint Mobile

1 starMake it impossible to get account information and ****** wife and I are trying to port out my wife's number from Mint to my plan, however there is no way to see the account number anywhere in the app or via the website.The phone is on hold for the last 20 mins and chat is hung for the last 10 minutes looking for an agent. It is illegal to withold porting out information but this company is getting away with it? how? I would like my account number and port out PIN asap.Mint Mobile

1 starThis is a worst phone company I have ever encountered with. My sister is using this company and apparently she stopped pay her bill, and I couldnt reach her especially shes going through mental breakdown and chose to homeless. And be able to contact her is very important to me. When I called their customer service, they have to verify my sister information like her name and email. I only knew my sisters name not her email, and their customer service wont let me pay for my sister. This is really ridiculous that based on this circumstance, they were keep saying about protocol! Now I couldnt find my sister. And I think its part of this companys responsibility because its can be solved immediately after I paid for my sister. This is ridiculous!Review fromTravis M

1 starI tried to switch to Mint as a way of saving money. I ended up having to buy a phone that I did not want in order to have usage. The process was such a nightmare that I ended up returning to my old service $300.00 later.Mint Mobile

2 starsMint Mobile advertises a 55+ plan on their website which is priced at $15 a month, with free Mintech advisors.When I called today to renew my grandmother's plan, they said the 55+ plan is no longer available and it would be $120 for 6 months. I had to go through an *****, a supervisor, and finally to customer retention, where they gave us a "special" discount so we "only" had to pay $90 for the six month renewal on the standard 5gb plan. My grandmother is nearing 90 and on a fixed income, as most seniors are, and this sort of bait and switch is predatory.They did ultimately rectify the issue, after speaking to three separate *****s over the course of half an hour. I also had to ask the first ***** *twice* to speak to a supervisor. Supposedly the last customer retention ***** I spoke to (who introduced themselves as "Ace") claims there is a note on the account so that when we have to renew we won't have to do this whole runaround again, which remains to be seen.The fact that we got an equivalent rate is the only reason they're getting two stars instead of one.Mint Mobile

1 starPlaced order ($1545.15), rejected and money to be issued due to possible fraud. On phone with customer service/sales for over an hour. Needed to spend another $1545.15 to place a duplicate order was promised everything was fine and the second order was all set, just for that to be cancelled. They are saying 7-10 days to get my money back and want another $1545.15 to place a third order. Crazy...don't use them!Mint Mobile

1 starSeems like fraudulent advertising. I find the price of service. Then it says "New customer offer for first 3 months only; then full-price plan." But they do not tell you what the full price plan is, I looked through the entire website for half an hour and didnt find it. Brother had the same issue.Mint Mobile

1 starI was also swayed by the **** ******** commercials. I mean, he seems like a decent person. I tried to switch my phone service over 4 days ago, and wasnt able to due to my phone being locked by my current carrier. No big deal. Bought a new phone. Wanted one *********** my tracking info and it said it would be delivered when I would be at work. No biggie. Tried to change delivery instructions online, and was not able to. I was told to call the shipper. Called Mint Mobile and was told they couldnt help me?Called ***** to adjust delivery to the local ***** office and was told I cant. Mint Mobile had restrictions that require my signature at the home. Was told that I needed to call Mint Mobile and have them call *****. No problem.Called Mint Mobile and staff agreed to call ***** with me on the line. Spoke to another ***** *** and a ***** supervisor, who finally was willing to help me to schedule a later delivery time, but there was a catch. I needed Mint Mobile *** on the line to talk with them, as they needed to provide the private shipping account info. I thought Great! The shipper is on the line. Wrong. He did not stay on the line.Spoke to several more staff members who hung up on me, and then finally another one who gave me two options. Be home to sign or cancel my order. I called back once again and a staff member agreed to call *****. This was only after I decided I would cancel the order and my service. I was told an order cancellation/refund couldnt be made until I shipped the item back first. Cant ship something I never received.She told me to call back in 30 minutes for the results. I guess she lied to me. Called back and spoke to another staff member, who didnt know anything about what I was calling about. I was placed on hold again, and then we told they had worked it out so I just needed to contact ***** to request a later delivery time. Once again all lies. ***** staff told me to go online and try to adjust the delivery instructions.Mint Mobile

1 starI signed up for what I believed was an unlimited data plan with Mint Mobile. When I went to activate the service, I was told I needed a physical SIMbut the only one available was for a 15GB plan. I assumed this was compatible or would be applied to the unlimited plan. Unfortunately, it wasnt, and I unknowingly ended up with two overlapping plans.I reached out for help and explained the mix-up, but customer service denied my refund request, citing their 7-day policyeven though the issue was due to unclear communication on their end. I lost $90 for a service I didnt use.The customer support experience was deeply disappointing. Id caution others to double-check everything before signing upthere is zero flexibility or understanding once theyve taken your money.Mint Mobile
