    Would not recommend. Signed up to switch to Mint Mobile and my phone went immediately to SOS mode. Called the next morning, told it was in process. Waited the ***** hours, called again...in process. On the phone with them for 2 hours and was told we would get a call back within 4 hours. Called again, talked to a supervisor who opened the ticket and was told we would get a call back.I was without phone service for 5 days with no resolution. The representatives were all polite and offered apologies repeatedly, but no solution was offered.Cancelled after 5 days and they issued a refund. On 3 of the 5 calls the call was dropped by Mint Mobile with no return phone call. Not the kind of company I want to deal with.

    This is one of the worst customer care and I have been using it for years. they wanted to pay you advance in three months or whole year and when you wanted to cancel it .it doesnt give you any refund . Its a ****** up service. They did not refund me any money

    Mint Mobile did a "bait and switch" on us. I received an email from Mint Mobile telling us if we signed up with MM with a family plan, we would get two lines $30/month for both, unlimited text, talk and data for 2 years. We signed up Dec 7, 2024, and they billed us for 3 months in advance. We were told to check back before Jan 2, 2025 to make sure we receive the 2-year promotion. We called on 12/28/24, spoke with ***** who told us nothing on our account for that promotion. ***** **** up on us. We called Jan 2, 2025 to see if anyone could help, sent to Ticket Advisor who told us that offer was for new customers only, which we told them we were new customers on *********. I waited for my new billing to see if somehow the rate was correct.On 2-19-2025 I noticed my billing to sign up again was for $60/month for 2 lines, unlimited talk, text and data. I immediately called MM, representative listened, put me hold and then disconnected me. Immediately called back to MM, talked to Ash. She said nothing in records of us having an issue, but that promotion was for 1 line and bring in a family member. I advised, I have the email, and it does not say that. Ash tried to change it, but said the system will not let her. She got me over to a Supervisor, ******* who said the email I received was for existing customers only, and there is nothing he can do. I have been getting the run-around with MM for too long, Mint Mobile seems disorganized with their representatives and dishonest with their promotions, so we decided to switch back to ***** On 2-25-2025 I called Mint Mobile to get a transfer pin to ***** ******** asked why we were leaving, I told her it was because we felt Mint Mobile lied to us by doing a ************** gave us the run-around, they are very disorganized and now we cannot trust Mint Mobile. She acted like she could give us the promotion now, which I told her, not falling for that again, we cannot trust you.

    Buyer Beware. You get what you pay for. First, they do everything possible to keep you in the non-human loop when calling customer service. Once connected with a human, they are pretty useless. I set up an account for an older friend who needed help and just wanted a phone for emergencies. I paid for service and the account was under my name. They insisted on having his name and email address. Therefore, they sent no correspondence to me. It all went to him and I knew nothing of past due fees, etc. After some time, they terminated the service. Now to get it back, I have to start from square one. It was an arduous process the first time, I'm not doing this again. It is worth it to pay twice as much to have humans that listen and can perform simple tasks.

    I prepaid for a 3-month unlimited data plan, and my phone number wasn't transferred over from my previous provider. I got my number transferred around 11:45 AM, and Mint had my number, but I couldn't call or text anyone. I had to fight with them to get a port pin. They wanted to "fix" my account as it was "stuck" in activating, and they kept "troubleshooting," but nothing was working. They kept telling me it could take an hour. An hour passed, I called, and I was told it would actually be another hour, making that 2 hours in total. That didn't work. They told me they couldn't escalate it and it would take time. I have been trying to fix this from 10 am to 4:30 pm while trying to go on with my day, and it took me sobbing on the phone out of frustration and panic as I didn't want to lose my phone number as it's sentimental to me. If I could rate this a zero, I would; this has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a phone service, as I also had to fight **** for my number. I am now looking into another phone service. I would not recommend this to anyone; it's not worth the frustration and distress this experience has caused.

    My son was ready for a pre-paid mobile plan. Found Mint Mobile with several plans to choose from... a few with gigabyte caps and one labeled as "Unlimited". Since he uses a lot of data, we chose this plan and paid 3 months at a time... Half way through the month, he runs out of data... unlimited... only to find out after calling that Unlimited is capped at 40 gb. What? That's not unlimited then is it? So far they are unable to resolve this issue even though they have moved to "True Unlimited" 4 days ago. Needless to say, when this plan runs out, we will be switching. Trickery is not nice.

Our unlimited plan previously included 40GB of high-speed data before reducing speeds, your son still have data it do not stop. We recently updated the unlimited cap which will take effect on next billing cycle on all accounts after the update.

    BLUF: I do not recommend Mint Mobile. I placed an online order on 1 February 2025, realized it was incorrect on 1 February 2025, called and spoke to real humans who told me it was cancelled on 1 February 2025 and I would get a refund in 7 days. Instead I got the incorrect order in the mail. I then called and used the chat feature to find out HOW & WHY I even got the incorrect order. Talking to the representative was a useless endeavor. Chatting with the representative was more productive.Turns out it was a problem on THEIR end and my cancellation, that IS documented in the notes didn't go through properly. To me, that is a huge problem. How is the computer system that faulty? Or is simply a human error? Either way it should have been fixed and never happened to begin with. Bottom line: I do not recommend Mint Mobile.

    Tried mint mobile and was unhappy with it and tried to cancel it. They told me their wasn't a cancel option and to just not pay the next time. I had a three month plan and wasn't going to continue paying for it. About a week after not paying, the charge goes through anyways and when I figured out it had gone through I tried speaking with costumer service and they told me that I couldn't get a refund after the first 7 days of activation, months ago. I was trying to cancel my plan but that s***** app just won't let you and stole my money

To end the service, you simply need to opt out of renewing it, i.e. turn off auto-refill, or remove your payment information from the app yourself or with the help of customer support.
