    In October 2023 I went through Mint Mobile's online purchase to buy a Sim card for my current phone. I chose the shipping method as **** first class and paid with my CC. I received an email from Mint stating the Sim card had been shipped the next day but with ***** as the carrier. I do not and will not use *****. Period. Please see the BBB ***** Complaint I submitted for details.I contacted Mint customer support by phone and told them to- 1. Cancel my order for the Sim Card. 2. Issue a refund for my purchase. 3. Contact ***** and have the delivery canceled/returned. 4. Send me an email confirming the above actions were completed.Not only did I not receive an email from Mint but the Sim card continued to progress through the ***** system. When I contacted ***** to have the package returned or held at a X-fer center or returned.....***** said I'd need to contact Mint Mobile to have them do what was needed. (Which I had already done the day before....)Not only did Mint Mobile make a mistake on the very first transaction between us but they also demonstrated their customer support is unwilling and/or incapable of correcting that mistake. The result being that I, the customer was in an endless loop of trying to get the different customer support of both ******************/***** to do what needed to be done. Which neither ended up doing...Both Mint Mobile and ***** are dysfunctional and deserve to be paired together. I will do business with neither of them ever again. I have exited their unproductive and time wasting "loop" to never return again. (_Oo)

    In March 2023 I signed up for Mint but the employee did not activate my eSim card. I was charged for 3 months of using their service even though I still had my old phone plan active and wasn't even using *************** They finally activated my eSim card in June 2023 but refused to refund the previous 3 months. The new eSim had significant technical issues in which I spent 8 hours chatting with various employees on how to solve issues such as: the wifi was not connecting, texts would not send, then images would not send, then I could not text any android users. The employees hung up on me and kicked me out of the online chat over 10 times so I ended up talking to over a dozen different employees until I could find ones that would not hang up on me. Now, in October 2023, over 8 MONTHS later, they finally solved all of my technical issues but still refuse to give me a refund even though I've spent so many months not able to use the full service that I've been paying for. I want a refund or a voucher. Even then, I'd only give a *** of 3 stars for how awful the service experience has been. The fact that I was hung up on so many times and never was called back is extremely unprofessional. I never was disrespectful or rude to any of the employees so I do not understand why I was treated that way. The service has been fine otherwise, at least when I am texting iPhone users.

    I never even purchased the plan but was out right lied to about the pricing. Glad I dodged the bullet before I purchased!

    I bought a cell phone off Mints website on July 10, 2023.Mint Mobile transported an inaccurate number. They tried to correct it but I had nothing but issues (no email, texting and calls only from a select few) for 3 weeks. After 3 SIM cards they refunded the $45 for service, and determined the phone was defective. Although the phones been returned (proof of delivery/fed ex) Ive still not received the $331 refund and its been 3 months. A request for return (Mints protocol) was made which they authorized on July 27th.Mint is very disorganized and doesnt want to give your money back. Every call is frustrating. Notes/history are not kept track of. ALL order numbers, tracking, request for refund numbers, confirmation numbers, ticket numbers, ***** tracking numbers, are the callers responsibility to keep track of. Your on hold for 15 min at a timefor hours! Which includes numerous dropped calls then, you call back and start over.Ive been told they refund was in process and will post in a few days, and the next time I call they Im not getting any money back. They told me the phone had been received, and next time they cant confirm its there. Oct 15th was the last time I called (and husband). We spoke to a manager. She said the back office needed to confirm the phone was there (not this again!!!)She couldnt look up the ***** tracking # because her system was down.She said she had no email ability, so we could send her the ***** proof of delivery.She said she needed to make another ticket, but before she did, she needed my credit card number (only 9 numbers!!) for the refund.We asked her the name for this back office, and to transfer us. She said they didnt have a name and there was no ability to transfer.We wanted to make a complaint, but she said they dont have a complaint department! I dont know if Ill ever get my money returned. These guys are serious losers, dishonest, they lie, and seem an illegitimate business.

    The customer service is AWFUL! I went through 10 reps over 3 days until I found one who gave me a shipping label to return a defective iPhone bought at Mint.

    September 27 2023 I purchased prepaid phone service through mint on behalf of my mother (**************). The service was activated however I'm unable to use it (I cannot make calls or send text messages using the service that was paid for). 10/3/23 @ 3:17 pm, I called mint mobile and spoke to a representative who placed an order to send a replacement **** card, however the replacement was never received. 10/13/23 @ 12:24 pm. I called again asking for my options and was told that it could take another 3-7 days to get another replacement because they do not have overnight or expedited shipping. I requested a refund and was told to complete a form online. The issue at the time was that I did not have the order number and therefore could not complete the form. The representative could not help me further so I requested to speak with a manager, but was told that a manager was not available. I was then told that a manager would call me back. I never received a call back from anyone. 10/14/23 - I was able to locate the order number and completed the online refund request. 10/15/2023 @ 5:55 pm - An email was received, stating that they are happy to help, but the refund request denied. It has now been 3 weeks and the service that I paid for still does not work!!!! I want a refund!

    I was very happy with mint mobile until my phone plan expired and I was between pay checks. I had expected my data services not to be available when I was outside but I had expected all of my wifi features to still work. But that is not case. When your mint account expires you are completely cut off from wifi texting and wifi calls. They have no reason on earth to do this but they do. As a consumer who paid $1000 for a phone and for a monthly internet service I should be able to still make wifi calls and texts. But Mint just cuts you off. If you get paid on Friday and you service expired Wed, ****, no calls for you, not even if you are in your own home trying to use your wifi.This caught me really offguard and caused me a lot of hardship. I cannot recommend Mint mobile to anyone because of this issue. I can't believe they are cutting me off from using my own phone in my own house.

    MINT IS TERRIBLE. RUN DON'T WALK FROM THIS COMPANY. They sold me a OnePlus Nord 100 two months ago. The phone they sold me was a demonstrator model. It was not to be sold for use only demonstration. It does not update nor does it have all the features of the regular phone. It overheats regularly. **** has confirmed this phone should not have been sold off of the **** number. **** has emailed me confirmation of this.Two months into this fight Mint still has not exchanged or refunded the cost of phone. I have well over ************************************************************ customer service chats. They are awful beyond belief.Now after two months of fighting with with Mint Mobile they finally sent me the email with the return instructions they had promised me when I received the demonstrator phone. However, the link for the return in the email goes to dead link with a 404 error.I wanted to include the text of the email for return with the link to a 404 error but it put me over the character maximum so I can give you the bad link. Further, I will be glad to share the email with you if that helps.****************************************************************...

    When I signed up with Mint Mobile I was told 'You will be notified of your data usage each month so you will have a better idea of what you need' for when you renew service.SO NOT TRUE, they tell you NOTHING in fact when I called customer service and asked about last month's usage I was told they do not have access to those numbers.It seems they want to keep you signing up for the 'unlimited' just to be sure you have enough or have to pay 'overage if you select a lesser rate.SHAME on their sales teams that give that promise of knowing your usage monthly.
