1 starTo make a SALE, Mint Mobile associates lied to me multiple times prior to selling me their phone service. Prior to giving Mint my CC info I asked many questions to make sure their service would work on my phone. I gave them my ESIM number to check availability, I told them my ******* phone was not yet 100% paid off, and that I wanted a dual Dual SIM set up up my phone (a 2nd phome number) they said this would work no problem on my phone. Then after they took my CC info, and multiple phone calls, the number they set up wouldn't work, and then on the 7th or 10th call into them, they informed that the Mint Mobile phone number they gave me would not work on my phone, and said they would send me a refund within 10 days, 14 days later no refund! So I called them back and now they can't find my account info. So they can't issue a refund. So I had to file a dispute with my Bank! That process will take at least 10 more days! Mint Mobile is horrible! They're just a bunch of unorganized, uneducated lying Sales people!Mint Mobile

1 starBought a new iphone which only used eSIM... Completed the process to request and install an esim through the mint app on the new phone only to have it disable the old sim and fail to install on the new phone. After about 5 chats and 4 calls of the tech support simply recited the same lines about needing "higher support" and it will be fixed in "****" hours I received the new eSIM 72 HOURS LATER. Totally unacceptable when all I needed was a simple email with a new eSIM.Mint Mobile

1 starA complete nightmare! Spent most of the time online and on phone with customer service. That's a lie because they never did what they said they were going to do. Bad ***, yet they kept trying to contact at that number. The *** wasn't even in a phone. Then they refused refund because they said it was activated. Even tho it couldn't be used. Save yourself the stress and frustration! Their phone service was terrible also. Bad call quality and can't access data!Mint Mobile

1 starI will try to make this as short and straight to the point as I can. I paid $45 for a *** and a three month plan with Mint Mobile. I received the *** in the mail less than a week later. I followed Mint Mobile's activation process and inserted the ***. No mobile network detected.I called Mint. They had me power off my phone, re-seat the ***, and power the phone on. Didn't work. No mobile network detected.I called Mint again. They told me I had to power cycle my phone and it would connect to the towers after that.It didn't work. No mobile network detected. Then I proceeded to sift through all the advice I could find on the internet, including Mint Mobile's 'how to' section for androids. It didn't work. After two days of there still being no network, I called Mint. It was very hard to understand the man. He had very broken English. He told me to power off my phone, pull the ***, put the *** back in, and turn the phone on.It didn't work. No mobile network detected. The next day I called Mint again. The lady said the towers were restricted and she had to lift the restrictions. She said it was a guarantee that if I power down my phone for 15 minutes, it would connect to the network now that the restrictions were lifted. It didn't work. No mobile network detected. After 25 minutes, I called Mint for the 5th and last time. The guy was very polite and actually took time to "help" me. After some time, he told me that the reason my phone wouldn't work is because it is locked. I was not happy having just bought this phone and the seller listing it as being factory unlocked. I double checked with a couple different carriers and they told me the phone was unlocked. So, I drove into town and dealt with it in person. They not only figured out within minutes that my phone wasn't locked, they had me connected to their network in less than 10 minutes.Mint Mobile blatantly lied to me. I want that $45 refunded immediately. Disgusting customer service! It's a scam!Mint Mobile

1 starMint Mobile works under the umbrella of Ultra Mobile. I should have known/checked their reviews before I made any commitments with Mint Mobile. As a new customer, I paid for 3 months of service so my account was supposed to be renewed on January 10, ****. Yesterday, I received a text message telling me my account was suspended due to suspicious or unreasonable activity, whatever that means with a number to call (888)777-04... I called Mint Mobile after many tries and they gave me another number (855)826.9... where there is no one. According to their recording, they should be open from 6 AM PST but I tried today many times after 9 AM EST, and it still says that they are closed. It's Almost 11:30 AM EST and they are closed when I call if not for the fact that I have access to another phone I would have been without a phone. When I called they said that they didn't have my number and transferred me to Mint Mobile. I called Mint again and asked them for a refund which they said they could not give me. When I go to my account it says that I have to refill because my plan has expired even though the site has the expiration date as 1/10/24. And why do I have to contact a different carrier when my business was with Mint Mobile? I found out they have had these breaches and fraud problems for years and if I had known, I would have never opened an account with ******************. I will not give up. I don't give up easily 'till everything is fairly fixed and I will use any legal avenue to have satisfaction. These people should not be in business. As a disabled person, this would have been detrimental to me if I had an emergency and no phone to use. It's outrageous that you call them and they have no power whatsoever to fix the problems. Right now, the customer service representative from ****************** told me to wait another hour to call the fraud department. Why?? Aren't they supposed to be open by now? I call Mint but my phone says Ultra Mobile! Worst company for problems.Mint Mobile

1 starThey stole $200 from me by double billing me for a one-year plan. When I brought this to their attention, they admitted that it was their error and stated they would reimburse me. They then sent me an email stated they needed 45 more days to investigate. After 45 days and still no refund I was able, finally, to speak with a rep I was advised that too much time had passed, and they would not refund the money they stole from me but would apply it to next year's renewal. Not likely. Pretty good scam to steal $200,Mint Mobile

1 starPaid for a year of service and somehow my service was messed up. No outgoing text messages are reaching anyone. After being cut off when on the phone with the call center in the ****************** 8 times, I got a text from the company saying that my service is being hindered by "Network Spam Message Blocking" and they will not be able to correct it for several weeks. They say they have not option but to wait. When I told them I paid for service and I am not getting the service and wanted a refund they said that since I paid for the year and have only 7 days to request a refund, they will not pro-rate a refund. This company is not fulfilling a consideration in taking money for a service, and then not providing that service. I'm going to file an affidavit in small claims court in Michigan.Mint Mobile

1 starI whole heartedly agree with every word from ********** It was for me a combination of complete lying, manipulation, and incompetence. They slapped a lock on a phone I own when I transferred, gave me a temporary number, but I couldnt transfer my old number of over 17 years to replace the temporary because they put an unlawful lock on my phone. It says it right on my phone. I was paid up for the current agreement time, no reason to do that. The reason I desperately needed the lock off is because my old phone and SIM was lost, so I needed to do a verification process with my old provider by inserting a new SIM, etc. All this was to generate a transfer PIN. I wasted hours and was hung up on. I never sweared, kept my temper, was crying, this is a home business line! I asked for a supervisor and they seemed to collude in giving me misinformation. They even said I needed to call Apple to unlock my phone! It was a phone previously used for over five years on their network! Disgusting and telling EVERYONEMint Mobile

1 starI live in ********** was just in ****** for 10 days, mint mobile was the number one largest frustration from my trip! I couldn't call or text anyone the whole time I was there except for the mint technical support (for some reason that worked). I spent hours texting them (8 separate technicians) doing everything they said to do, could not get it to work. The last guy tried to tell me my phone is locked! It's not! As soon as the plane landed in the states the phone worked fine again. If you are planning to travel outside of the states, DO NOT COUNT ON MINT MOBILE!Mint Mobile

1 starIt has not been a good experience with this company. Although they advertise low monthly rates, there are always added fees beside the taxes, etc. such as a recovery fees. The explanation is they have to cover their administrative fees. That does not make sense why we have to pay their administrative costs. Very unhappyMint Mobile
