Mint Mobile is my cellular provider now for several years. Approximately eight months ago very suddenly and abruptly with no change whatsoever in my usage behavior for cellular data, all of my data was used within a day. After several phone calls and hours of conversation with Mint Mobile customer service people. They finally agreed to give me I believe 2 GB of free data. I never left my home after receiving the data and only used my Wi-Fi at home, not their data at all, within one hour the GB was gone again. After that, I briefly left Mint Mobile to another company, but then came back again. maybe six months ago. Everything has been fine until very recently. I just renewed for three months on August 17. Within five days, all of my data was gone again. I did not travel. I did not do anything out of the ordinary I am. I am retired. I am at home 80% of the time using my Wi-Fi for Internet and not their data. Yet when I spoke to Miss Mobile ***************** I got nowhere absolutely nowhere they would not acknowledge that there was any issue and that I mustve used my date which I absolutely did not. I have looked around on the Internet, a particularly Reddit. There are other people that have experienced the same thing. And other people that have the same frustration with Mint Mobile customer service telling the customer that their data hasbeen legitimately used. I have not used my data every month. I get through the whole month just fine on 5 GB of data unless I travel at which point I will buy more data if needed. I no longer wish to use Mint Mobile as my cellular carrier. I want a refund for the 3 months of service I purchase on August 18, 2025 for $75.00.Business Response

Two step email verification will not work. On August 31 I tried to setup two-step verification via email, no email received that day, September 1 or September 2. On Sept 2 I am on the phone with customer service and they try to send me the email - nothing for 4 hours in any inbox including spam. Was on the phone with customer service for 1.5 hours, passed through 3 different people and they landed on: Its an outage on the towers in your area. That makes no sense. My cell service works fine. I'm not receiving an email when connected to my home wifi on my phone or laptop. I am receiving emails from everyone else. After they had me try a new email, they said I have to wait 30 days and try verification again. Not acceptable for a phone line to have no two step verification these days, and that risk isnt worth the pennies saved. I want a solution or a refund for the remainder of my contract.Business Response

I switched 6 months ago, 3 months in and service issues happen on the regular, I pay for my elderly mothers phone also, to get a deal they make you do autopay, now Im looking to switch again and they wont refund my 3 months advance payment and wont take auto pay off because Im connected to my mothers account. During annual renewal process at 07/28/25, for my annual mobile plan at Mint Mobile, for plan "12 Month Plan | 5GB/mo", Mint charged me double amount of money in order Order ID ********* and ************* correct annual renewal fee was approx $200, but Mint charged me $200 plus ******.When chatted with Mint online customer service in end of July 2025, they committed it was their system error, and guarantee they will refund. But it's not 08/31/2025, I never received any refund of approx $200. I will not recommend Mint mobile to my friend based on this experience.Business Response

Today I attempted to cancel my services with Mint Mobile while I was at the *** store. While I was able to reach a customer service ***resentative, I had to state multiple times that I was requesting my account number and the pin port number that is required to transfer a phone numberto another company.Every time I stated that I wanted the information only, the ***resentative would not give me my information, but would then try to sell me a promotion to stay with mint mobile. At times, when I again had to request my information, the agent pretended that they could not hear me. At times, the Mint Mobile agent sounded like he was losing patience with me because I kept telling him I was not interested in any other products.After about seven minutes, the **** ***resentative that I was with took the phone and told the Mint mobile ***resentative to just provide me my information as I was not interested in staying with mint mobile. The agent questioned who he was then speaking to and asked why did they get on the phone. The **** *** told the Mint mobile *** that they were not listening to what I wanted so she got on. The agent said I had to wait at least three minutes for my account information to be released. He then continued to try to sell me a with T-Mobile while we waited. It looks like there is a time feature that the mint mobile ***resentative had to get through in order to give me my account information or they were just delaying the information to make it difficult to cancel my service.The entire call took about 15 minutes to get my account number and the pin ********* comparison, I also did this today with Visible Mobile as I was transferring two separate phone lines from two separate phone companies into ****. Visible took less than two minutes and everything was done via text message and through their app service. Mint mobile is practicing predatory cancellation practices and needs to be investigated for their cancellation policy.Business Response

Hello,I am a mint customer for about 3 and half years now. My cousin was looking for a new provider and i refered mint to her thinking we might as well earn some referral credit. So i shared a referral link to her via my mint mobile app. And to make sure, we dont make any mistake, i personally guided her through the link to activating her new mint mobile plan. After that, I forgot about it for a while and as i was on the my 5th month of my 6 month mint plan. I was all ready to use my refereal credit, i was disappointed to see that there was no record of me referring anyone. I googled and found out about 2 weeks waiting period but it had been 3 weeks now. I tried contacting the cutomer support and explaining him about everything and giving him every bit of information about my account and my cousins account. After along 15 minutes talk, he told me my cousin was to use a referral code for me to receive a referral credit. I argued for a while but he seemed really uninterested to help. I was even more disappointed with mint mobile and thought about changing the provider but now im so intertwined with all the bank account and other accounts, so its hard. I found this platform to give out constructive feedback to mint and now ive said what i wanted to say. Hope that mint would hear it and trynna improve the referral system. Just know that referral system helps you guys to get a customer for life but you make it so hard to get referral credit. Mint Mobile would not sell phone as advertised on website at current sale price over multiple days (8/25, 8/26, 8/27, 8/29). Mint Mobile would not authorize transaction as advertised on website. Mint Mobile would not resolve order issue. On multiple phone calls over days Mint Mobile advised me that they could not and would NOT make the order for phone, and eventually Mint Supervisor recommended I go somewhere else for a phone and service that they could NOT and would Not sell or provide service to me. I called and spoke with Mint Mobile multiple days on purchasing a phone and completely wasted my time and created anxiety and stress (while current phone was broken). Mint Mobile was completely unprofessional, customer care was nonexistent and NOT caring and could not resolve my problem. Mint mobile indicted they would call me back, and they never called me back and wasted more of my time waiting.Mint Mobile should be held responsible to sell and execute orders at the advertised prices on website. my line has been hijacked by hacker and mint mobile not helping . he was able to activate my line on another phone and turn on authentication app which now customer support cant access the account just been giving the run around from mint mobile if this was another carrier they would have fix the problem right away (all they had to do was check my account for recent changes ) . i don't have access to my account or line he was able to reset my bank passwords and mint mobile still allowing him to use my line . i haven't changed anything email or address or imie all changes to the account was made by hacker and they still haven't restored my line spent all day talking to customer support they just give a ticket number ******Business Response
