I signed up with ****** at Ad.IQ two months ago to help promote my new business. I was promised that my business would be listed on the first page of ****** within 3-5 business days. However, two months have passed, and I am still not listed on ****** at all.Every time I contacted Ad.IQ to address this, I was given vague explanations and excuses. I later discovered they had created a separate spoof website for my business without my knowledge, directing ****** My Business to this page without informing me. When I asked about this, they reassured me it was supposed to improve my listingbut that never happened. Since canceling the spoof website has still not been taken down. It feels like I paid for a service that did not deliver on its promises.I decided to cancel the service due to these issues, and initially, they agreed to stop charging me. Then, they informed me that I was still under contract and threatened collections if I disputed the charges. Despite expressing my frustration and asking to end the service, they continued to give me the run-around. ***** even reached out and tried to pressure me into staying on, and after I insisted on canceling, they charged me additional fees.I believe this service was misleading and ultimately a scam. Im seeking a full refund, as Ad.IQ has not fulfilled its promises and has caused nothing but frustration and distrust.Business Response

The business said they would get me listed on ****** in 3-5 business days. This was told to me by two different people. I never received what they promised me within the time promised. Not even after the time promised. I asked for a refund since I needed to have the money back for no services. They refused to give me a refund because the service was supposedly done. It was not and never has been completed to my knowledge. I want a refund because I no longer trust this company or any company like theirs.The service was promised around August 2nd , 2024. So all I wanted was a verification call from ****** to list my business on ******. I started getting calls from AD IQ. I told them I did not want any help from them because I do not want to pay them to advertise. I told them repeatedly this is not for me. They started offering "Special deals and discounts." They also said that worse comes to worse I will have to sell my business because I did not want their help. I told them I was not interested about a week and a half ago. I still get calls from them but I do not answer. I have read reviews and realized it is a big scam to get money from small businesses. They personally emailed me fake statistics from my town. The statistics stated over 100 people ******s ***** care near me." My town is in a very rural area will 800 people total living in the area. Most either live in small houses who do their own lawn care or farmers who have lots of equipment to do their own. I just want them to stop calling me and to stop getting money from people who they trick.Business Response

I had contacted ad.iq because there were were too many phone numbers associated with my business and to help me gain access to my ****** page. What they did instead was delete my ****** page, create a new webpage for my company, added another phone number for my company, and falsely advertise a service we do not offer. I requested a refund. They initially refused until I mentioned that they had refunded others on the BBB website. Then they partially complied. They listed a service painting decks, something we would never do. We stain decks, not paint them. When I spoke to the supervisor ******* he assured me he would have the new website, false service and phone number taken down. None of which has happened. I told him I would be reporting them to the BBB if he didnt comply. Still, no action has been taken by the company to rectify the situation.Business Response

I have repeatedly asked ad.iq over the phone to stop calling me, and attempted to unsubscribe from emails over the past several months, but they will not stop harassing me. They need to stop or be held accountable for their actions. This is ridiculous.Business Response

After starting a new business I was contacted by them to help with my ****** listing. Initially I was interested but wanted to do research first so I scheduled a call back. After researching them and reading reviews I decided I did not want to work with them. After letting them know I am not interested I continue to recieve multiple calls per day. After asking to be placed on the do not call list the call frequency only ontensified resulting in 4 more calls back to back in less than an hour. I hired ad iq to make a website for me and ****** told me a bunch of lies to get me to join as a customer one was that he would use the hairforceoftn.com as my website but after signing a contract it was changed and they didn't tell me that so I ended up with a year contract when ****** told me I would not have to spend no more than 500 dollars and he would do a website and logo for me. He was the biggest liar and I even had the current *********** that I was currently using talk to ****** and have a witness to everything promised to me. I even recorded every conversation with ad iq and when I was not pleased with what they were doing I wanted to stop using them the one lady was working with me and still the work was not up to par. My logo they made was simply different font with my business name on it . Then after speaking with several people about getting my money back the guy said he tried to refund me but had no way to word it in the computer so I never got a website and never got anything but a cheap logo which I designed they just put it together with their software. This company is the biggest scam I have ever dealt with. Even the people that work there were telling me the work that they were doing was not any good . I disputed the money with my bank and will again after I get my recordings together with ****** telling me all the lies he did and will submit refund request again unless the business gives me a refund. I will go on every website I can and file complaints til something gets done. They changed my password so I could not use the website that they supposedly made for me and I got nothing.Business Response
