Would like to leave a -zero. Just came to Chico CA w my husband. We spent almost an hour and had a cart of alcohol - about $600 worth. However we could not purchase because I did not have my purse/id on me. My husband and I are almost 60 yrs old - been all over the world and never have we seen anything so ridiculous. I went to the car and my husband went back in but they said we had to wait 24 hrs to come back in. So we will be posting this all over Facebook and instagram. ******* *******s do you have any idea what a terrible marketing/customer service strategy this is - ha - you are a fool and should be fired. But unfortunately for you we’ll do our best to let everyone know not to shop here - pls don’t worry it won’t affect the 21+ yr olds from spending $30 or less at your company.

12-17-2022, Went to BevMo1 ********************************************************* and purchased one bottle 750Ml Smirnoff Vodka which on their Web Site shows the price to be $11.40 for clubbev members, which I am one. On my receipt it shows $22.99 for the vodka, which I didn't check receipt till I got home. The cashier was asking do you want your receipt? And the way he asked I said yes, just seemed unusual that if I didn't get a receipt, I wouldn't have know that I was over charged.I called the store and explained what had happened and the young lady asked was the bottle glass or plastic? I said it was glass and she said that the glass 750Ml Smirnoff Vodka was $22.99 and the plastic bottle was $11.49. It wasn't marked like that on the shelf. It just showed $11.49 for 750Ml Smirnoff Vodka, nothing about glass or plastic bottle??? If I knew that I would have gotten the **** Ltr ******** Vodka for $16.99.Not happy without come!!!Always ask for a receipt, this is just another way of business's to take advantage of consumers.

I went in today with my parent so they could purchase beer for themself. I did not touch anything at any point during the time that I was in the store. The cashier asked for my ID which I thought was very odd as I was with my parent and never touched anything and was not purchasing anything. I was under the assumption that a parent could purchase alcohol with a minor child present in the ***********. This was further reinforced by seeing a dad walk through the line with to a daughter who appeared to be about 14 to purchase beer moments later. The manager said that if someone appears to be close in age 18 is IDd which is odd to me considering a daughter who appeared to be be a teenager did not get IDd when her father was purchasing beer. They should state this discriminatory policy on the door and enforce the laws of the state they are in. I am not sure what is up with this but discriminatory practices are not cool and in this case make no sense. How can a parent with a child who is 16 (but appears to be 18) not purchase alcohol but a parent with a child who is 14 can?This location is on Broadway in ******, **.
