They just took over management of "The ******* ***" in **************. Day 1 they sent an email with "good news", stating they waved the monthly convenience fee for auto draft from our bank account... alas, connecting to a bank is done via ******, which requests access to private and confidential personal and banking information on behalf of Silvercreek (e.g., account types, full numbers, current and historical balances, physical addresses as held by the bank, etc.) There is no valid business reason for Silvercreek, Stripe, or the *** to have any of these data! Furthermore, Silvercreek doesn't disclose what information it is requesting access to and for what purpose (as required by CCPA)... I got alerted by my bank when trying to link accounts! "Scam" is too strong a word - but beware. DO NOT sign up for any kind of auto payment and DO NOT provide Silvercreek for anything more than legally required. And stick to mailing physical checks, like in the last century. Their blatant disregard for homeowners privacy is appalling

Thank you for your feedback and for bringing your concerns to our attention.

Silvercreek Association Management is honored to begin working with The ******* *** effective July 1, and we are currently in the final stages of onboarding. While we have begun early communication with homeowners to help prepare for a smooth transition, the full portal functionality and payment processing features are not yet active, as we are still awaiting initial funding from the previous management company. This means some features may appear incomplete or generate errors if accessed prematurely, which could be the source of confusion.
Regarding payment processing, homeowners will have multiple no-cost options, including mailing checks or using online banking. Our recent email announcing the waiver of the auto draft fee was intended to share good news and reduce costs for owners who choose that methodbut no one is required to use auto draft or share bank credentials beyond what is necessary for standard online payment.
Silvercreek does not have access to private banking details. The payment platform is operated by ******, a widely used and secure third-party processor. Any permissions requested during the account-linking process are governed by Stripes terms and are not controlled or visible to Silvercreek. That said, we take privacy concerns very seriously and are happy to help any homeowner explore payment options theyre most comfortable with.
Most importantly, we wish the homeowner had reached out to us directly before posting. We are more than happy to assist and clarify any part of the processand will continue to prioritize transparency and homeowner trust in all we do.
Please dont hesitate to contact us at ******************************* with any concerns or questions.
      Sincerely,
      Silvercreek Association Management

The main HOA sewage line burst and flowed into my unit on 10/26/24. My entire kitchen was overflowing with sewage water. I have reported all damages in detail to silvercreek management. I was told after a month of waiting that the case was closed and it was not their responsibility.
