The first week of November I ordered 2 Oranda fish from this company. In over a month I talked to 2 different people who told me they would ship my fish. I called at least 20 times on both of there listed phone numbers but 2 times is the only time I talked to anyone. I am tired of the run around they either need to ship what I purchased or give me my money back , simple as that. Terrible way to run a business. Never again will I buy from them and will tell all people that I encounter the same. Do not buy from this company! Horrible!!Initial Complaint

I followed the direct instructions of the merchant to provide notification of the dead fish along with photos and a video. They agreed to replace my fish as shown in the emails I uploaded. That was the last communication I received from them, October 17, 2024. I have attempted to reach back out to the merchant via email, text, and calls but have not gotten any responses and calls go to voicemail. Placed an order March 1, 2024.Email received with an order receipt Order #***** Received a second email the order will be delayed up to 10 business days.Sent an email inquiring of the order because it has now exceeded 10 business days. They marked my order as delivered 3/17/2024.Order did not ship and did not deliver. I purchased fish from coast gem usa and the fish they sent me had ick and fin rot. I bought them medicine and tried to save them But they all died. I paid roughly 80$ for sick fish that died right away. I tried contacting ** *** but they will not respond. And from the looks of it the rip most people off. Something needs to be done about this place. I can't believe the community hasn't burned the place to the ground. Whoever owns it should be ashamedInitial Complaint

On October 09, 2023, I bought a Super Yellow Halfmoon Male Betta from Coast Gem USA, on October 19, 2023, I asked them if it had shipped yet, and come to find out they did not even have the fish that I bought. They informed me then that they were waiting for the fish farm to send them one. I finally received it on November 9, 2023, on November 10 I messaged them asking why this fish had black streaks through its Fins and why it was the color of see-through flesh, I also sent a picture, which is the same as the first picture that I downloaded to the BBB, they answered and told me to shut off the lights in the tank and let it rest, (which I did). On November 23, 2023, I sent another message and picture, but they did not respond, December 10, I sent another picture and message they did not respond.The second picture I sent to the BBB is this fish today January 7, ****, and as you can see, it is still the same see-through flesh color, and the third picture I sent to BBB is what the fish should look like. I feel I have given them ample time to respond, unfortunately they chose not to.Initial Complaint

I purchased fish from this shop which claims they have a live arrival guarantee. Half the fish arrived dead. I emailed the shop about this and received no response. I contacted them through the chat feature on the website and eventually received a response saying they needed images of the dead animals which I of course didn't have anymore. They claim they have this information on their website but it certainly is not clearly visible nor was this made clear at the time of checkout.Initial Complaint

I ordered a butterfly telescope goldfish online from Coast Gem USA. The fish came alive but barely. I didnt notice in the blue liquid it came in that it was sick with fish lice and ich which killed it within days. It threatened the lives of my other fish and I spent a lot of time and money on treatments for them. The company offered no refund or apology.
