Expect marginally legal but soulessly unethical treatment. I came to them as a small general contractor looking for an all in one platform to serve as the backbone of my company. They marketed themselves as a top of the line project management tool that would centralize all my information. Since they don't offer trial periods, my only exposure to the software was via tutorial videos and demos where a sales rep was driving the tool. Any modest issues I noticed I presumed were from my lack of training, because surely a top of the line software would have the most basic functionality. That's where I was wrong. Despite marketing a scheduling tool, their service has zero scheduling functionality, it is only a viewer. You can upload schedules from external services and re upload every time you update, that's right, external schedules don't even link and auto update. Dates assigned to tasks in the software don't even appear in the calendar. In the sales process I clearly didn't ask sufficient details about the scheduler because I assumed any top of the the line PM software in 2024 obviously would have robust capability for their listed scheduling tool, it would be as silly as asking if the product was in English. As a project manager my calendar is my lifeblood so obviously a product with no calendar functionality wouldn't work for me. I asked procore if I could pay for the 2 weeks I had access to the software and go our separate ways. They have a not only a no refunds policy, but per their SSA 7.3 Procore does not warrant that Services will be error-free or uninterrupted, will meet Customer’s requirements or expectations, or that its security measures will be sufficient to prevent third-party access to Customer Data. Because of this clause they are refusing any refund of any amount for my 10k subscription to a PM software that can't make a schedule. Despite 2 weeks of pleading for a human compromise they will be keeping all the money. Don't be swindled like I was.
