      I started with **** over four years ago (4/20/2020). When I started I was guaranteed they would negotiate settlements of 50% and we would be finished after four years. In May of 2024 I was told it would be four more months to settle all debts. In September, 2024 I was told it would be November, 2024. Now in November, 2024 **** is saying it will take until January, 2025 to settle all debts.Finally I found out through intensive digging that **** failed to cash two checks (03/29/2021 & 4/29/2021) and ultimately declared their agreement with CAPC null and void. **** did not catch this error until recently (Do I believe this!) I have now been in the program for nine extra months and CAPC has been charging me $465.00 fees every month, but has not paid off my debtors as they promised. **** has broken any contract they had with me by not paying any creditors, as promised for over nine ********* total debts were slightlly under $25,000.00 and I have paid in total in excess of $25,000.00 in fees and debtor payments.Please see attached pdf files for documentation.

      To whom it may concern:

      This is in response to the BBB Complaint of ***** *******.  Mr. ******** facts are not accurate.  He enrolled 4 debts into the program, and all 4 were settled. Consumers Alliance has sent all payments to satisfy the settlements on all 4 settlements. 

      His ******* had a balance of $1,579.00 and we settled for $813.83, a 51%settlement.  This settlement was completely paid by Consumers Alliance. 

      His Chase ****** had a balance of $9,325.76. This was settled for $5,595.46, a 60% settlement. This settlement amount was fully paid by Consumers Alliance. 

      His Chase ****** had a balance of $14,975.29. This was settled for $7,488.00 a 50% settlement.  This settlement amount was fully paid by Consumers Alliance. 

      His **************** had a balance of $3,123.00. This was settled for $2,488.00, a 70% settlement.  All payments were made by Consumers Alliance.  Two of the payments paid out by Consumers Alliance were never cashed or lost by the collection agency handling the **************** debt. Although there is no guarantee, we are working with these creditors to attempt a resolution for the lost payments.

      They fail to follow through after I'm told they will call back. Difficult to impossible to request more information regarding my account

      I SIGNED AN AGREEMENT FOR DEBT CONSOLIDATION, PAY 339 PER MONTH AND THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO NEGOTIATE SETTLEMENTS ON MY DEBTS. AFTER 4 MONTHS OF PAYMENTS EQUALLING OVER $1200.00, MY ACCOUNT BALANCE IS $60. THE $1140 DISPURSED FROM THE ACCOUNT WENT TO ONE $80 PAYMENT TO THE ONE DEBT THEY SO FAR SETTLED, AROUND $600 WAS THEIR FEE BUT WHAT I AM SO ANGRY AND WHAT THEY MISLEAD ME ON WAS THE OVER $500 IN "****" TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT. I LOGGED INTO THE PORTAL TO SEE WHAT THE **** WERE FOR AND ALL IT GIVES ME IS "TRANSACTION XXXXXX". NO EXPLANATION. I REQUESTED AN EXPLANATION OF EVERY TRANSACTION AND RECEIVED A LIST OF **** SUCH AS "DISBURSEMENT FEE-$200.00"

      Client entered into a agreement for debt settlement services over 40 months, through 2/8/26.  CAPC has She enrolled $12,519.00 in debt.  She signed an agreement for a fee of 20% of the amount of the debts settled.  Fees are only charged after our service successfully settles a debt.  We have settled $10,464.00 of debts.  CAPC has performed all its obligations under the written contract.   Although she is only 30% through the term of the contract, 55% of her debts have been settled. Client has made many threats and been very uncooperative.  We have offered on several occasions to  cancel her account, including any fees she has not paid.  We offered to give her the information for paying her settlements directly, but she does not want to do that.  She insists on not cancelling her account, and agrees to pay the fees going forward.  We have again offered to cancel her account, give her the information to complete her settlement process directly and not occur any additional fees.  We are happy to provide the written contract and the notes and call logs, with Ms.******* ********
