    I went to *************** ER in February. I received a bill from the hospital as well as the ******************. Both of these I paid in full immediately as Tricare covered the majority. Over a month later, I have now received a text message from Team Health with a link to pay. First of all, medical bills should be mailed. You cannot simply text someone a link to pay an amount with no additional information on what they are paying for. Secondly, why is there a "surprise bill" to begin with? They claim Tricare denied coverage but this is very vague. What was denied and what am I paying for? I do not consider this to be a legitimate bill as proper billing procedure was not followed. There is no explanation of services and no bill has been received by mail as of today April 23, 2023. I am requesting termination of the bill in question.

    On August 8th 2022,I was in the ** in extreme pain from a kidney stone. The Advent Health facility took my insurance information and disseminated it to the four providers that serviced me during this visit. Two of the providers failed to bill the insurance company and sent me bills for the full amount of services. One has refunded me as this was their error in not billing. I am still battling with TeamHealth to get my $1553 refund. They eventually did submit the bill to my insurance, but didnt give the insurance company any detailing on the services when it was requested. My insurance denied payment because they had no way of knowing what services I received (since that was missing from the claim TeamHealth sent and they never responded to the insurance company). Now Im told they will refund me eventually. At this point Im considering legal action because this has taken up almost 7 months of my life.

    I received two random texts stating I had a bill to pay. I had no idea if it was a scam or not. I had not gotten any bills in the mail. I googled the number that texted me and found out that it was a medical business. My daughter had gone to the ** recently, so I thought it could be legit. I called and would not give my information until they could prove they were not scammers. I found out, they had "sent mail," but my daughter's name and address were wrong in their system. They also told me my insurance was not paying anything. I then found out they had my insurance information incorrect as well. 3 BIG MISTAKES! I was told they would correct it, bill my insurance and get back to me. I heard nothing for months, until Feb. 23, *********************************************** They said they had sent me a letter, it is now 03/24/23, I have not gotten any mail from them or the medical bill. I explained the situation, they gave me the contact info for TEAMHealth. I called TeamHealth on 02/23/23. I was told that the notes were made to have my case removed from the debt collectors. I asked how I would be contacted to verify everything was done and was basically told that the person I was on the phone with did not know, but it would be handled. Fast forward to today, 03/24/23. I have still received no mail from TEAMHealth or HRRG. HRRG called again, 03/24/23 about the money. I explained the situation AGAIN! Then called TEAMHealth, explained it AGAIN, asked for a supervisor, I was given to a new non-supervisor, I asked that person for a supervisor and got a "supervisor's" voicemail. I have been waiting now for a return phone call for more than an hour and have yet to receive it. I hope they are better at returning phone calls than they are with everything else thus far. This is some very serious INCOMPENTENCE! My regret now is that I did not record the date of the texts or the first phone call when I discovered they had incorrectly entered all of my daughter's information.

    I went to the ** while on vacation when no other doctors offices were open. The hospital charged me for a level 3 ** visit. When I received a bill from Team Health, which I had no clue I would be receiving since no one informed me the doctor would send a separate bill, it showed they are charging me at a level 4 ** visit. I asked to know why I was being charged at that and see a list of the criteria for each level. However, they essentially just told me I was being charged at a level 4 because they say so. I was never provided any criteria for each level. I believe they are just charging me what they feel like in order to get more money. I have emailed a dispute twice with no response. They refuse to acknowledge my request for what criteria they are basing my ** visit level on. Additionally, I spoke to someone who said I signed paperwork stating I knew the doctor was separate from the hospital. I have requested a copy of that paperwork with my signature in order to clear up my confusion. They have yet to send it to me. They are terrible at communication and refuse to help me. They are trying to scam me out of more money than I should be paying - if I should even be paying anything at all.

    I am a ********** Medi-Cal recipient, and this company is telling me I owe money. I called the Medi-Cal hotline, and they confirmed that my insurance is active. Team Health representatives told me that it was my obligation to figure out why they weren't paid and said it wasn't their responsibility. When I spoke to the state representative, they told me that, one, it was illegal to bill me and, subsequently, that it is their responsibility to figure it out, especially since I had and have provided them with my insurance information.

    I reached out to TEAMHealth regarding a bill that was received from an emergency room visit. My insurance didn't cover everything so I called to set up a reduced payment or payment plan. Unlike the provider, this billing agency is unwilling to provide any reductions for folks with insurance. When I told them I could not afford the offered payment plan, they offered a reduced one BUT WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO PROVIDE ANYTHING IN WRITING FOR THAT PLAN.

    I am receiving frequent text messages indicating outstanding bills for services by **************************. I have never been to that hospital and don't know exactly where it is. As such, I believe these texts are a scammer. Are they?

    In reviewing this complaint, we do not have any account with this patients name. I contacted ******************* and he advised the text messages he is receiving are addressed to someone else, not him. This is a case of having a wrong phone number on file. His phone number has been removed from our system.

    I received a bill from teamhealth for taking my son to the er. Called the hospital they dont have any info in this bill and we have insurance and the visit was covered!!!! When you ****** this company says its a scam and lota of people are suing them. Their number shows up as a 1 star weird clinic. I do not feel its safe to call this "company" to give my information. I do not owe anything.

    Last year i went to the Emergency room on 5/16/2021. After the visit i received letter about the bills waiting for insurance claim. Around the time i received a collection later from Paragon contracting llc about payment over due while insurance claim was still open, i call them they say they are waiting for insurance claim if they don't receive payment i have to pay them full amount of money right away with a rude attitude. I did call the insurance they told me they still waiting for the process while team health already place my account in collection and Team health did not give me time to pay the bill directly to them.

    Team Health sent me a bill for $1,166 for an ER visit. I have already paid the bill (after insurance paid their portion) and SSM ************* does not show that I currently owe any balance. Please remove this false debt from your records.
