    California Senior Care ****** off my parents **************** to get money from them faster. He was going to step down his care as he improved, go to ******* care, ****** care, and so on and so forth til he would not need care anymore, this was agreed upon when I signed the contract for my father's care. After 2 weeks, we asked to go from ******* care to ******* care ***** their representative told my parents and I, "you can't change to less than ******* care without a *** note." This was totally unacceptable and very poor business practice, especially when they knew it was going to be virtually impossible to get a *** note over Thanksgiving. ******* the manager ********** my father and told him over the phone," If you don't like our policy, we will have our caregivers leave today, and you can get in the yellow pages tomorrow and find someone else." My father responded to this threat with fear, " No, no, don't do that, let's leave things the way it is." because he couldn't go without ********** yet. She even lied and said it was the law that he needed a note, what a ridiculous ************ We asked that Nov. ** be my father's last day of care, and when ***** came to pick up his letter *********** service with them, she crossed out the **** and wrote in the ***** ********** Senior Care received 5 more days at ******* rates when my dad only needed 12-hour care at that point. He was supposed to have a caregiver for another month. This has caused my parent's financial hardship and mental duress. My father spent ******* on under 3 weeks of care. The person paying for the care should be the person in charge of whether they receive 12-hour care, 24-hour care, or just a caregiver 3 times a week, but at California Senior Care, they believe THEY are in charge. I am reporting them to you for poor business practices and elder abuse. You can't force the elderly, and disabled to pay for more care than they can afford and more care than they even need.I would not recommend them.
