  I have had fun experiences with their speed dating events in ************, ********, and ******* since late 2023. One needs to be flexible on the dates because sometimes events get cancelled and the person will need to switch to another date. I was glad I was also able to change to one back in my home city as I attended one elsewhere that had very low turnout and they were willing to allow me to attend a future event back home for free.I wish the music were a bit lower at the venues so as to allow people an easier time hearing each other, though this is something I probably would have to take up with the venue and is not a fault of MCD. Also, I recommend the host/hostess explain in clearer detail that all attendees must enter their matches on the website's account for the event prior to leaving, as otherwise they could get no matches.

  Overall, it was a fantastic experience! I thoroughly enjoyed the venue that was chosen. It was a nice, clean, and quiet place with a bar. I appreciated the variety of chairs/ tables setup. I found a comfortable chair that suited my preference. The host was excellent! There were many men there, and we had great conversations. Everyone was incredibly respectful.

  Really poorly run business. I bought a ticket to an in-person speed dating event in ****** on eventbrite and they canceled the event due to, too many people rescheduling at the last minute. This happened a total of 4 times before they refunded my money. I did a little digging and discovered that on top of canceling the events (which from reviews seems like a consistent thing), the restaurant they were supposed to have these events at had been closed for at least a month prior to when the first event was supposed to be. They are still advertising in-person events at this restaurant even though it no longer exists and another has opened in its place. It truly seems like they purposefully cancel the events hoping that you will just give up and they can keep your money since they advertise as non-refundable. I feel very fortunate that I was able to get a refund. Would recommend avoiding MyCheekyDate at all costs!

We appreciate this can be frustrating for those that do not need to reschedule. We do take an understanding approach to daters whom need to reschedule - whether it be for work, personal or last minute emergencies. We understand it can be most challenging for our venues, our team and most importantly - our daters. With respect to a venue closing or changing it's name; unfortunately venues shutting or being renamed are out of our control and we are not always the first to know. However, there are no shortages of fabulous venues in ************ who are eager to meet and connect with their community.   I have attended a few of their events. The customer service is second to none and there is real opportunity to meet a genuine connection. Better than online dating hands down.

  The event wasn't as organized as it should have been for the price of admission. Also with the price of admission it should have included some type of a drink or appetizer to go along with the experience. I think that for the price point it should have been better situated.

  had a very disappointing experience with this dating service. From the start, the organizer was rude, and there were constant issues with rescheduling eventseven to the point where events were not booked at all.After my first attempt to book a date through My Cheeky Date, the event was rescheduled due to a lack of participants. When I requested a refund, ****, the representative, told me he would simply roll my payment over to the next event. At this point, it would have been more transparent for him to explain that they do not offer refunds. After going back and forth with ****, I was only refunded my money when I threatened to contact my bank.Following this, **** informed me that because I had involved my bank, I would no longer be able to use their service. Thats fine, but this policy should have been made clear from the beginning, which it wasnt.If you look through the reviews for Cheeky Date, youll see many people reporting the same problems: venues not being booked, events being endlessly rescheduled, and poor communication. Now, Ive noticed that My Cheeky Date is operating under different names but using the same tacticsconstantly rescheduling until customers can no longer attend, at which point the company keeps the ******** my opinion, this company is dishonest and should be avoided

Unfortunately, due the behavior of the buyer resulted in us being unable to continue to assist him. As a result, any outstanding purchase for future events was *********** we enter our 18th year in over 60 cities across the world - while we appreciatedaters' feedback, our refund policy is to the benefit of those that may need to reschedule. We take an understandingapproach and we believe such an approachhas led to our longevityand majority of positive reviews we ******.

  I've attended a few events with MyCheekyDate in ******* and they usually go well and most people are respectful. The hosts are great and very helpful with any questions.There can be a difference in numbers with last minute cancelations, but I guess they can really do much about that!

  They keep endlessly canceling and rescheduling events. They don't even check if the venue is open at the time the event is supposed to take place. They don't even contact the venue to book the place. The venue owners know nothing about MyCheekyDate. They also change the venue and won't tell you about it for days until they eventually cancel it. Suspicious and efficient, isn't it? They just take your money and you get nothing for it. This is fraud. There was no event for over a month with this company, but another company had way more events and no reschedules. Stay away from these criminals.
